Today we would like to bring you another peek from the upcoming DLC. This time it is several views from roads and highways in Hungary. There are visible cities in the background on some shots: Budapest and Debrecen. When it comes to size, those two new cities happen to be some of the largest in the growing ETS2 universe.

DeleteAnonymous whiners as usual. If they release it half done you'd have more to whine about of course... also it's not a patch, it's a downloadable extension. So I guess Anonymous can moan that SCS should make stuff for free.
DeleteIf you look into the amount of work there is in creating a map, or even just one truck, and getting it right, you might shut up. I rather doubt it however.
Bear in mind that SCS are also working on other projects at the same time - me, I'm OK to wait a bit - I can play the game as-is, tweak around with some mods and if I get bored, well there are always other games to play until the new content comes along.

I personally hoped it meant a couple of weeks, but hell, even 6/7 or 9/10 would still feel okay for saying weeks instead of months, even if that particaly would mean 2 months.

DeleteDirt roads, shortcuts. Different scenery... All the cities and roads of this game looks all the same. The entrance and exit of a city, also, looks all the same.
DeleteIt would be great if SCS with every new patch creates some new B roads or gravel shortcuts on the existing map, regardless of DLC maps. For example small portion from Bremen (Euroacres) to that near B intersection for Hannover would be useful. Or connect blocked intersections that have no use.

Only minor nitpick is that I can't see any familiar landscape from Debrecen, albeit I lived there for years.

You should better expand the existing CITYES (at least some of them) to the size like one in Scania-TDS, with more bases and various delivery points.
This will much more complicate the gameplay, rather then longer distances.

DeleteI agree with this too. But but, they need to take some money too, it's not enough 30$, or 30euro for game. Same bastard as EA, as Blizzard etc etc. Moders can make better maps for free then SCS for money. It's better to fix all bugs in game, make bigger cities, and new roads. Why i can delivery something on tha some mountain? Some logs for example..... There is a lot of mountain in Austria and Switzerland.... But SCS makes just fckin roads and roads, and cities with 2 buildings. For example Munich is realy big city, London too, but on map are so small, with 4 buildings, two intersections and that's all. Where is reality? Only in fckin long roads? grrrrrrr

I wonder sometimes, just what did all of these "fans" of ETS2 do with their time before the simulator came out? My impression is that they have nothing else to do, than to come on here and complain, demand and expect a miracle because they say so!

Like many of you, I enjoy ETS2 just as much, but it is not my only source of entertainment. When SCS has something new to add to the game, I will eventually find out about it and install it in to the existing game. Until that time, I wait patiently to do so.
As far as being rude on here, all you are accomplishing, is to amuse the rest of us with your ignorance!

Truck simulation is not just about driving a truck, but also about how the world looks when you're watching through the window glass of your cabin. Thanks SCS for making this game. You did perfect with trucks. Now you just need to make world around this trucks more real so the players can't see any difference between game world and real world. You can do it SCS. I believe in you. Make real world in this game and you will be rich. Just say the price. You get the money we get the real world. It's a fair deal. Simulation of real truck jobs. :)

SCS please do not let all the DLC apply. You can make the blocks, for example, the Eastern bloc and the Western bloc, to be able to buy a paid upgrade, and then update it when your company will add other countries on each block. I hope you understand my opinion, sorry for my english
