A quick visit to Örebro!

Let's take a look at Örebro today - one of Swedish cities that is pretty much finished and ready for Scandinavia DLC. We hope that you will appreciate that we are borrowing from reality as much as we can; the locals should definitely recognize some of the sights below.

As we are switching into high gear in the final tuning and tweaking of the new DLC, you can now expect a lot more media from our virtual Scandinavia covering the places of interest. There is so much to explore there! Don't worry, even if we plan to show quite a lot here in the coming weeks, way more will be left for you to discover on your own!

    2. There is a release date. They will release the game in the 27th February. I have already ordered the game on the internet and the company will send the game to me in the 27th February according to their site online.

  9. http://www.excalibur-publishing.com/games/euro-truck-simulator-2-scandinavia/

Take a look at this website and we can see that there is a possible release date for the DLC. It might be true, as Excalibur publishes many simualtor games, including everything that comes from SCS.

PS: if you seach on their website, there is also a possible ATS release date.

    1. Any release date you see on the internet is speculation. There is no release date for ATS and Scandinavia DLC.

    2. well seeing as excalibur is the main publisher for scs it would make sence if there release date is extremely close the the one that will be anounced

    3. Not it wouldn't considering they originally dated the release of ATS for last November..

  18. It would be nice to cruise my hometown but i still don't think it's worth the money until you can drive a real Swedish rig (24m/25,25m).

  19. I would like it, and more this time of year when there is still icing conditions on Denmark, Germany, and the other northern countries, is it too much to ask for a weather engine inside the core of the main program? I mean it is obvious that many have use the winter mod, but what about people that want to keep the game unmodded and personally I currently am on day 355 inside the game, ten days shy of a complete year in-game and still no snow, no icy roads, and what about the use of tire chains, it is an amazing game, but if american truck simulator is going to not have a weather engine embedded in the core of the program then it's gonna be just another ETS, and with no doubles it's gonna be somewhat boring

  26. when will you also add the license for Mercedes-Benz trucks and enrich the interiors ? it's a shame that this was left as Majestic.

    thank you!

    1. Really? A shame? Don't you think the Mercedes licence would have been in the game to begin with if Mercedes had allowed it? Go bark at Mercedes for that.

  30. New release date for Scandinavia DLC on excalibur publishing website. It is 19th of March.
A week ago it was 6th of March. Anyway, all these info might not be true and as we can see, everything can shift from one date to another in just a couple of days.
For the moment we can hope that it will be in March the release of the new DLC, regarding the dates provided by excalibur publishing.
After all...in those videos Squirrel made at SCS offices, we found out that the release of this DLC will come at the end of winter or at the beginning of spring. So March fits in these details.
All in all, let's keep our fingers crossed for a release as soon as possible.
