Where are we?
Today we have another pair of screenshots from a city we are adding to Euro Truck Simulator 2. You couldn't yet drive on this particular piece of road when the ETS2 project started, it has been opened relatively recently.

CONGRATULATIONS FOR WORK! :)
So it's new part of Prague cirlce! Hint was strong, but Zizkov tower confirmed my supposition. :-D Very nice, SCS, I wished this new road so much in ETS2 - so many thanks!
ReplyDeleteWOW! Looks great! Good job! Could you guys post a video of the trucks and trailers that you currently have developed? Maybe a few screenshots or something like that! Could you guys have a heavy haul trailer with some heavy loads to haul? With more than 3 axles!

Love the new models and new lights, but what I love even more are the shadows and realistic lightning !
ReplyDeleteCheck how you have a feeling of darkness when the truck comes out of the tunnel in the shadow of the hill ! Love it.
Also very cool to drive on the highway and finally see the city, not like in ETS 1 where all highway exits were the same and you had drive miles to see the city.

Then SCS must move house. Their headquarters are really near to cetre of Prague, where trucks are not allowed. :-D But good idea, why not to place it on some fictional place in Prague, i would honk too. Especially after today's article, which is simply amazing. :-D

For me, personally, it's more then outstanding!
SCS, please, you should release an beta version, because a lot of us cannot stand this waiting anymore, the release was ment to be in january now it's already april. I understand and i can see that you are working hard, to make it as realistic as possible, but try to focuse on system part and things, then go to do more scenery, because we want beta/demo version.

ReplyDeletePlease, improve weather conditions in the game. Especially rain/snow. Everything in rain system in GTS looks terrible: raindrops (sometimes it's hard to even notice them); rain blobs on windows (They have to be not only on front window, but on side windows as well) and they look terrible and kind of useless in GTS, cause you still can see everything without turning on wipers. And wipers should leave some sort of tracks after them. Depending on strength of rain, they should have more than just 1 speed mode. Wheel particles are also look ugly. And when the rain stops the asphalt should be wet for some time, not immediately dry, like in GTS.
Hope You'll do something about it.
it was never said, that the game should come out in January 2011!
ReplyDeleteit will come out between August and December, the demo will come some days after, and a beta will be not available for fans...
In addition, there's no reason why to release something like beta. And of course "hot pants" is not reason. ;-) Just be patient.

I will ask you to make more realistic tunnel entrances, add more stuff inside the tunnel,make the light insinde darker and add a prefab or something with emergency refuges. And I will use this oportunity to ask you to change the truck sounds and add more realistic driving features.

ReplyDeleteBy the way, I've just been playing German Truck Simulator and I'd like to call your attention to the lamps in tunnels. In your aforementioned game, the lamps in the tunnels have a glare, but the surface of the road is not lit. It's especially visible and a bit disturbing when driving through a tunnel at night. Please fix that bug!

I Like the comment where they said that there must come a tunnel between FRANCE and ITALIA (MONT BLANC / MONTE BIANCO). I hope that you gonna make it like the real one... like this tunnel that you made like the real one... IS VERY NICE!!!

Nice job. I am from the United States, and I saw a documentary on the fire that happened in the long tunnel from France to Italy. Please include the modern version (after the fire) of this tunnel.
ReplyDeleteAnd it would be a good idea to soon publish a part of the map, and show pictures, with the unfinished land being faded out.
Please add realistic trains on the game because in Europe doesent exists any american trains with different kind of cars like in GTS and UKTS.

ReplyDeletePlease make the height of the cabin according to its physical porametram, and now the view from the cockpit with a different truck for exactly the same height, but this should not be! Scania cab and cab Reno located at different altitude levels! Please keep this in mind and in the future.

It'll more cool having your own house and customizing your interior with furnitures and more. It'll be relaxing to just look out through the house window and watch the cars driving on the road. I hope the developers will add this.

- That you to your car owner can put logo or text, and even if you own a business that you may have (such as GTS and UKTS) that cars again shows a logo.
- That you can buy trailers and back logos on it.
