Hi, great vid..game seems to be coming along nicely :) However, I noticed that there were no dust or treadmarks when driving in the quarry, naturaly there would be no dust on a wet day, but here it seemed pretty dry..is this something that will be added (either as standard or optional) in the finished product, or is it simply to time-/resource consuming to put in the game?
Nope, but a semi weighing about 45 tones would leave treadmarks in a quarry...also it would kick up alot of dust when driving on dry sand/gravel for diferent reasons. I was simply asking how far they would go when it comes to reality.
The short video was very good, but it's not that I'm only criticizing you know, more could show the inside of the truck.
And another good thing that you could put (I think you already posted) is the series 'Volvo FH' because so far I only see video with the FH16. But apart from these minor glitches, the game is getting perfect.

SCS Software works. How are you? I had some suggestions that is I think the game ETS2 can put on some trucker trainings like Scania TDS. Even build the truck competitions in ETS2. This game is really a nice work. I'm really love this.
Are you fuckin'nuts? Why should the game has competitions like TDS? It's not a racing game, it's a simulation game, from point A to point B. The only thing I regret for is there's no Spain, Portugal, etc.
And having an ingame mail telling you about a competition event once every game month or trimester might be fun, imagine receiving that email, telling you the competition will be taking place in London this time, and that you have to qualify at one of those cities, Berlin, Paris, and some others, to secure a spot on the finales...or something to that nature. I think that might be fun, for some. :)
Great video SCS, but I have one suggestion, the cabin suspension is much to stiff.
Take a look at this video ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zPUdZCRNj6s ) you can see that the cab moves at the slightest acceleration or braking of the truck even at very low speeds.
I agree,I did not even notice a cabin swinging on 1:08. but this is not a big problem,it is only important that all models have some cab suspension which can be modified later.
Some stuff looks unfinished or same as in the ETS. I really don't like that the sand base you entered in the video does look completely same as in ETS. Another thing camera following is the same and the look from the wheel keeps vibrating like in ETS. So the game looks really unfinished or same as ETS which isn't good at all. But the good thing is that scssoft didn't released it as alot of people whined about it so I hope you read these comments and fix game :)
This quarry was in GTS not ETS, but sadly it looks the same as in GTS. Also in the previous video the small gas station from GTS will be in ETS2. Unfortunately, SCS does it the easiest way and still can't release the game in time...
Maybe in the next game, she has more resources to invest in these requirements. With all she has given us so far, there is still hope, we can not be silent.
I don't think it is stupid. Perhaps the two pictures aren't the best to compare, i must admit. But in other game-trailers from ETS2 you can clearly see that the sleeping roof is to square and not cone-shaped enough.
It's hard to point out what is wrong. An example is the Ferrari Enzo from TDU2. The front of the car is just different from the real life version. But it's hard to point out the real mistakes from TDU2. Sometimes the proportions are the problem.
please make it multiplayer. it is fantastic to play your favorite game with your favorite friends. With multiplayer, this game would be best game forever. For the rest, the game is formidable

I love Volvo, it looks awesome but i wanted to ask if there will be any difference between 4x2, 6x2 and 6x4 and if it is and info button in the tuning menu so people know what every thing does.
Personaly, i like 4x2 but if 6x2 or 6x4 are better... I think 6x2 is for more power and 6x4 is for better handling but an info button would be great.

It would be very good if you have added exhausts in game. Do not pay attention that here the American trucks. Such exhausts can be made for the European trucks.
It works fine going uphill in STDS, just remember to shift in the correct gear, and give enough gas, and also use parking break. There are no problems going uphill
I only use the parking break, uphills, cause otherwise the truck will just run backwards.. try the parking break, hopefully it will help, and your welcome
The solution is to pass a march of strength, tread lightly on the accelerator. If you step too strong, it will rotate very fast and you will not move. Always worked for me. I had no problems with it.
Conclusion, each has a different way of driving, and only professionals can go beyond. That is, there are several ways to do this.

6x2-4 depends on the truck make & modal specified as some only have a dump to put the weight on the drive axle, while others have a dump & lift function, some have positive steering of the mid axle while others have passive steered mid axle which work as a function of geometry while moving.
You then have 6x2-4 “Chinese six” which have no dump or lift function, and are seldom seen now.

Tiago, i think they would go back to the american 18 wheels series, with new engine ;) that would give most sense, since ETS 2 already contain Germany & Britian. About a new bus simulator, nah i don't think so, because Astragon released their newest European bus sim 2012 4 months ago, and that's pretty good and damn realistc, and it's the same publisher for ScS
1 thing i would like to see in a patch at some point for this game, would be for the truck's to get dirty over time and have truck washer's around the map, that we can use.
Or at least skins for the truck's that make's them look like they have been on the road working and not fresh out of the show room
Especially would love to see my windshield get progressively more stained (maybe even oily? ...buggin you at night), and having to go to a carwash to fix it!
Here's to hoping the performances 'already' are degrading as you drive around or get damaged.

- Search the trailer to the company; - Go to a quarry to fill with stone / sand (by excavators would be filled); - Go to another quarry, work to unload the material; - Deliver the trailer to the company, or do again;

I think it's the other way around. 6x2 is with a steering axel and 6x4 are both rear axel are driving.

DeleteIf SCS had done the gearbox like the real Scania gearbox then you would have a two crawler gear, making hill starts much easier.

You cannot lift the rear or mid axel of a 6x4.
DeleteTag axle 6x2 (rear most) you can normally lift.
Mid-lift 6x2-2 you can lift as the name implies.
6x2-4 depends on the truck make & modal specified as some only have a dump to put the weight on the drive axle, while others have a dump & lift function, some have positive steering of the mid axle while others have passive steered mid axle which work as a function of geometry while moving.
You then have 6x2-4 “Chinese six” which have no dump or lift function, and are seldom seen now.
This video of GTS quarry (newbie could say it is GTS) is like message from SCS to fans "have this and stop whining about news and release date, give us a break". Thanks...

ReplyDelete1 thing i would like to see in a patch at some point for this game, would be for the truck's to get dirty over time and have truck washer's around the map, that we can use.

In addition, the performance of the truck should degrade if it is not properly maintained....
