Today we are giving our publishing partners so called "Release Candidates" of the upcoming ETS2 add-on. We have been in testing period for quite some time, and after yet another final round of verifications on this build, we are hoping to sign off the game expansion as "gone gold" early next week, so that we hit the intended simultaneous release date of September 20th.
Once this is all done, the DLC team will be facing the big question - what next? Another territory expansion? What do you think? ;-)
For those still hesitating if they should actually buy the game, there is probably the last good opportunity to grab Euro Truck Simulator 2 on the cheap before the Going East! add-on is released. This weekend, Steam is celebrating the first anniversary of launching their "Greenlight" system, and ETS2 is among the featured games, with quite nice discount. Check out the Euro Truck Simulator 2 Steam page here.
More and more images and movies from Going East! will be appearing in the weeks ahead of the release. Of course we do not want to leave you without any images already for the weekend.

I'd quite like to see more of France, Spain and Italy. I think the rugged landscape (especially in Spain) could make some interesting road types.
ReplyDelete+1
DeleteI agree. Let's go "south", France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, all the way to Greece are a must IMHO.
DeleteActually after my trial ran out I did not buy the game because of the limitations in terrain - and I happen to live in one of the excluded areas (Spain).
No, please add Baltic States, we have the best freeways in Europe!
DeleteWhy not Norway with slippery roads ??
DeleteI agree for France, Spain and the rest of Italy but I want Southeast Europe (Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Croatia,....). And maybe off topic do you have any thoughts about a Coach Simulator?
ReplyDeleteWell they are making a coach simulator. They posted things about it a while ago. Why do you think they are making bus depots in almost each city?
DeleteI notice that they put bus depots and I saw the pictures with the Irizar and the video with the Scania Touring but I just wanted to know is this project canceled or we can expect it in the near future?
DeleteYes we need Bulgaria,Romania,Hungary !
DeleteNo, no we dont want our stuff to be stolen, but we do need scandinavia!
DeleteWhy do you say that your stuff wil be stolen??You that all the romanians, bulgarians are thieves??you are wrong
DeleteHahaha, artworks from the Netherlands to Romania, that'd be great!
DeleteSo you're saying that if bin Laden's terrorist all Arabs are also terrorists?! NO
DeleteIt will be nice if it add the Grecce,it will be adventure to go there with the potholes! :D!
Deleteμπραβο μαλ. που μας ξεφτελισες...
Delete+1 for adding romania , bulgaria , macedonia , slovenia , croatia , serbia , greece , bosnia and herzegovina ...
DeleteNEW VOLVO FINISH QUICK PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD
ReplyDeleteAm I the only one that would like to see some old trucks in the game ? "90's trucks DLC"? Scania torpedo V8? anyone?
Delete+1
DeleteScania T143 <3!
some things you might want to improve are the AI, which you are already busy with,I hope the new trucks will be in the game soon
ReplyDeleteanother point I like to be changed, are the roads, more change, so it will be more fun driving around, and another thing is that the lights of the truck are in my opinion not strong enough, I cant see enough so I cant prepare myself, and the high beam is just to much, and irritating thing from that is that all the traffic comming towards you is also flashing with their lights, but furthermore it is a great game, just some suggestions :)
DLC Team : "What's next?"
ReplyDeleteMe : "Going West" expansion...
It's simple question.
NO going north
DeleteThere is a Mod available for "Going North" including Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Russia and Finland. You may wish to download it here: http://www.promods.net/
DeletePlease put the DLC team on making new games or trucks. Map expansions can be brought with map mods. Especially since ProMods released their Scandinavia version I'm really confident in good maps in the future (Their plans and roads are epic).
ReplyDeletebuy trailers. Map of Scandinavia
ReplyDeletepromods.net
DeletePlease, release the final Linux version, merge Linux and main branch in Steam. Linux version working very well and it's ready to use.
ReplyDeleteSomebody knows if I can use a steam serial in a boxed version?
ReplyDeleteSorry for the english. Thanks
Thanks for the great news SCS, looks great! Scandinavia expansion next thank you! :)
ReplyDeleteScandinavia+2
DeleteBoth Scania and Volvos homeland are Sweden, so please add Scandinavia.
+1
DeleteNot yet. There are more important things than that.
Deletedeserve max 5 dolar. no physics no shake cabin no snow.
ReplyDeleteHow much will the new DLC cost?
ReplyDeleteScandinavia!
ReplyDeletepromods.net
DeleteI'd like to see some more stuff about the upcoming American game tbh.
ReplyDeleteSame, I'm a bit done with Europe now; GTS, UKTS, ETS2, I think its time to go somewhere else now...
DeleteYes! North American Trucker!
DeleteOr a new City Bus Driver game (not the Coach Simulator, not as interested in that)
How about a truck & trailer pack with some new tuning parts, or adding some service roads to the game. Being able to purchase trailers in the game would be great, and it would also be nice to see your own trucks/drivers on the roads.
ReplyDeleteYES +1
Deletealso please add different season and please add snow
DeleteLets have some multiplayer, or just a carriere whit co. oporations whit 2 players.
ReplyDeleteIt'd be nice if areas inherited from German Truck Simulator were upgraded 'cause they're pretty boring by today's standards and we know the map too well ;) In particular, those unrealistic prefabs where the rightmost lane suddenly becomes an exit ramp, they need to go. It's ridiculous to make trucks change lanes at every exit just to keep moving straight ahead.
ReplyDeleteCheers!
uk is even worse that needs touching up aswell
DeleteScandinavia will be very nice place to drive!
ReplyDeletepromods.net
Deleteheavy haulage dlc
ReplyDeleteAgree!
DeleteLong Wide Heavy!
hauling big 100 ton dump trucks to quarrys?
DeleteThis would be the best dlc ever added to ets2 and with heavy hauls add signal trucks or actual police please. great job with the going east expansion pack by the way ill be buying it
DeleteYes, +1
DeleteWould love to see Spain, Portugal and Ireland in the next dlc.
ReplyDeleteIn Finland, an initial price of the DLC is 14,90 €. But so what, it costs what you pay for, either to buy or not buy.
ReplyDeleteAnd preferably Scandinavia next DLC.
for what versions of the game will be the DLC?
ReplyDeleteProbably the newest one, it added the new kind of mapsystem right?
DeletePlease! PLEASE: FIX THE EXISTING ISSUES!
ReplyDelete1) German freeway exit ramps: Rediculous! There are no single-track freeways! They do not exist and are unrealistic and annoying! Some you implemented correctly, why not all?
2) The speed of AI trucks is always < 80km/h. WHY? I want to drive behind them, i do not want to be forced to pass them! Overhaul the stupid AI in general: The ignore you blinkers etc.
4) Fix the Navigator issue. If a cockpit does not have one integrated there should be an "upgrade" for a front window navigator WITHOUT MOD. Pimp the navigators, i want all functions like in the overlay navigator!
5) If you really want another DLC: Okay, another region but this is boring. What about a economic DLC where you really have to manage your money in a clever manner?
FIX THE EXISTING ISSUES! FIX THE EXISTING ISSUES! FIX THE EXISTING ISSUES!
And when do you consider finishing the Linux version btw? Will the DLC be released for linux in parallel or do we have to wait again?
Thank you for your attention.
I forgot to mention: Great work so far. DLC looks great.
DeleteI agree completely, fix the issues in the base game before working on more DLC and improve the game's economy!
Delete+1
Delete+1
DeleteIt seems that you are getting ready for European Coach Simulator or whatever will be called, that's a cool thing though.
ReplyDeleteI would really enjoy a ''Going West'' (France, Spain, Portugal and Italy) add on, like this DLC. How much the Going East DLC will cost on Steam... I cannot wait anymore... it looks too good to be waited.
would be great to go more east and sout...
ReplyDeleteBalkans, Romania, Greece, Turkey....
Come on now, please add scandinavia to the map, its time for that now!
ReplyDeletepromods.net
Deletehello
ReplyDeletePLEASE driving the bus in eurotruck 2
Me too, Next? Go north
ReplyDeletePlease, Italy! (Florence, Rome, Naples ...)
ReplyDeleteI think it time to make Scandinavia as the next map/DLC because it only be senes since Volvo and Scania home country's and if you are going to make Scandinavia also make it snow... then also make economic where you really have to manage your money in a clever manner?
ReplyDeletePlease Double Trailer, double trailer.
ReplyDeleteI agree, double trailer.
DeleteYes, double trailer in next DLC, please
Delete+1
Delete+2
DeleteYESS YESS We want to ''Double Trailer''
DeleteSCS team You promised us!!!!!!! :(
can you reverse with them then?
Deletecause it is very difficult
Please make an expansion including the rest of France, Spain and Portugal. Yes, it would be big, but I believe such an expansion would sell more than anything else and Western Europe would be complete, with nothing else to worry about on it. You could call this "Going West" as stated above.
ReplyDeleteadd levels of difficulty in delivery, easy, medium and hard
ReplyDeleteWhat next? Well you have plenty of choice I think ..
ReplyDelete1. More expansion of Europe (Portugal, Spain, Italy)
2. More trucks (newer and older editions of all brands)
3. More new features (adding adblue, air-line connections, ..)
how about you keep your own trailer and run around Europe working from a single trailer similar to the arcade game "Big Mutha Truckers" but without the bikers
ReplyDeleteMaby that way you could also have your own tandem trailers too.
DeleteWill we get Steam pre-order ?
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't say no to another expansion.
ReplyDeleteAlthough €5 for a collection of new trucks, MP4 Actros style? Some older ERFs?
One big thing I would love to see is more places to drop, multidrop, new companies added, maybe some farm drops in the middle of nowhere not just in cities?
So many possibilities.
Go north yes. Scandinavian countries. Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and if u can, make Faroe Islands and Iceland too.
ReplyDeleteUKRAINE>PLEASE !!!
ReplyDeleteI vote for more on World of Trucks personally. And possibly turning it into a mmorpg since you already have to earn levels in the game.
ReplyDeleteI think Euro Truck Simulator should be left alone now, except for one or two patches in the future. You should work on a new game, like the World Of Trucks (which hopefully will be multiplayer like the free roam in Test Drive Unlimited) or you could work hard on the american game you have planned which I am really excited about because I think its a good time to go back to the american based games again now (funny, it was like that when you were releasing american games and I wanted Europe games). Also, personally, after looking at the photos of going east (and the video) it seams the roads are the same as we already have, so I don't think i'll be buying it, if the roads were challenging and delivery points were hard like in STDS then I would, or if something completely different was added to the game. Keep up the great work.
ReplyDeleteMine desire to see in game:
ReplyDelete1) Purchase of own trailers
2) increase garage space with 5 to 10
3) it is more than roughnesses on the road that it wasn't boring to go stupidly on the equal road
that about the new directions
Time the polo direction towards Baltic
(Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania)? what there was that? let's allow in reality a way Belastok-Riga of 500 kilometers, 6 hours of a way! and a way quite transit, also the way can be laid Riga - Liyepaya - Ventspils - Riga
And if maybe not so quickly well the sovremeny you go towards Russia? let's allow after a structure of Spain and Portugal? Latvia the twisted plan is enough транзитна!
Riga - Tartu - Narva - s.peterburg
Riga - Valmiyera - Pskov
Riga - Zilup - Velikie Luki - Moscow
Can we have hard delivery locations please????
ReplyDeleteSince there is already a really good Scandinavian map made by Promods, I really hope you guys are going to make a Going South DLC!
ReplyDeleteI'd say a Mac port would be a good direction. Some engine improvements, especially with light and shadow effects.
ReplyDeleteAn improved Anti Aliasing would also be worth looking into.
For game elements, I would suggest removing the outdated highway junctions (without a proper exit/deceleration lane).
New trucks should be a priority - the new Volvo is already in the "build shop". The new Actros could be a wonderful addition,
[dream]not to mention the official licensing from Mercedes.[/dream]
Just a few thoughts...
Nice job, SCS!
Congrats to the entire team!
Rest of France, Spain and Portugal please please please.
ReplyDeleteNext mission: Latin Europe!
ReplyDeleteAdding Spain, Portugal and completing France and Italy. Working for a greater diversity of objects in the scenarios for the landscapes of the Iberian peninsula and south Italy (mediterranean landscape).
Please, great SCS!!!
"Whats next?" Please for the love of truckers work harder on American Truck Simulator i am a big fan of trucks and last GOOD 18 WOS game was yearssssssssss ago even if its not perfect when you release it you can still patch it just like ETS2! really cant wait to drive an peterbilt around the US >.< (also the lack of support for the G27 in older 18 WOS makes me really sad...so GO ATS!!!)
ReplyDeleteThe next map expansions you should do:
ReplyDelete1. Finish France and Italy! Nothing's worse than incomplete countries...
2a. Spain and Portugal, and perhaps Ireland could be included in the same expansion because it's quite small and not that hard to connect to the UK
2b. Scandinavia (Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Finland, at least the southern halves)
Spain and Portugal could come first, or the Scandinavian countries... order doesn't matter here, but France and Italy need to be finished first!
Promods.net has already Scandinavia mod and Ireland will be made too. And free of charge. Also very realistic with Scania factory and realistic intersections at some places.
DeletePlease make the delivery locations more difficult to reach. Its all too easy, with always unloading at the dock. Make construction sites more difficult, city centres, and so on, would be awesome!
ReplyDeleteAh the german cities are as unrealistic as its freeways. There is no chess pattern in RL ... where are the historic centres? ETS2 is already extremly repetetive and this DLC will change nothing - oh wait getting rid of the existing bullhit does not generate income.
DeleteIn my opinion you should work on WOTR- World of Trucks :)
ReplyDeleteRomania please!
ReplyDeleteStart your project on American Truck Simulator.
ReplyDeleteMaking of American truck simulator or Australian truck simulator with road trains will be VERY interesting game to play. Beside that, you need always to improve ETS2. Or you can try something new? Like Car driving simulator (I am annoyed with that Russian crap of game called Car driving simulator), it would be very nice, because SCS Software can make it perfect. And fix that fuel gauge on Scania at once!
ReplyDeleteRomania and Turkey, Italy, Ireland, Spain and the rest of France.
ReplyDelete'Going east' not worth it's money . better work on game to do it just a little interesting. multiplayer, goals in game, competition, steam achievements etc.
ReplyDeletethis DLC is just a change of decoration.. in that case Nordic countries is much more interesting for such kind of dlc's
multiplayer ... how retarded must one be ...
DeleteHey look at me! Im sitting on the right seat and do nothing! ha! take that!
Pf WHY THE FUCK DEVS ALWAYS RELEASE THE GAME AFTER BEGINNING OF SEPTEMBRE ?
ReplyDeleteAND WHY THE FUCK IF THE DLC IS FINISHED ITS TAKE 20 DAY TO RELEASE ON STEAM ?
The only reason is pissing off people like you
Delete(y)
DeletePlease scs put more time into the uk. And maybe multidrop deliveries to make it less plain.
ReplyDeleteDon't get me wrong the game is amazing but it gets abit old doing the same thing over. Even such a simple multidrop would be awesome like a delivery from London to Paris delivering to 2 depots in France then a couple loads at a dock then park up in a parking bay.
It would also be awesome that when you press enter to rest that it sits you in the truck bed but fast motion time. Then head back to london. It may sound silly but it would be awesome even if say when we have a dirt trailer set a random location like a roadwork area and deliver dirt or sand etc.
Thank you for reading my suggestion :-)
My dream map for ETS 2:
ReplyDeleteDLC 1: Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary (20 September).
DLC 2: France and Ireland.
DLC 3: Austria, Slovenia and Italy.
DLC 4: Denmark, Norway and Sweden.
DLC 5: Spain and Portugal.
DLC 6: Hungary, Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia, Albania, Macedonia and Greece.
DLC 7: Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Belarus and western Ukraine.
DLC 8: Finland, Romania, Bulgaria and Turkey (European part).
DLC 9: Western Russia and Eastern Ukraine.
Patches and free updates and some DLC like in The Sims of accessories for the trucks, vehicles to the traffic, owner of trailers, trucks old, etc ...
Now that sounds like a plan - it's just whether it's financially viable for SCS ...
DeleteLOL. You would buy this bullshit?
DeleteTotal: 110€ for ETS2 + some more roads?
ReplyDeleteGood job SCS
Add the Russian city of Kaliningrad in DLS. It passes close to the forthcoming DLS.
Every player is ready to give money for DLS their country !
There are no cities in ETS2. Only some houses and background scenery. To complete the package you get extremly bad performance as bonus.
DeleteSurely good job, but only expansion?, ETS2 still needs many improvement ( Like Game perfomance etc.).......
ReplyDeleteAs your company can't implement multilayer in ETS2, then take all the improvements from ETS2 and make a squeal of 18 wheels of steel (Extreme truckers 3)........ ETS2 is getting really boring, no mods and DLC can't add pleasure in a game, they only add boringness...
ReplyDeletewhen is the autumn patch coming out??? because i´m really looking forward to the release of Scandinavia add-on with all the four seasons and not to forget the functionality of the digital tachograph. No offence to the big fans of the City Bus Munich but I mean if that shity game got it, why can´t you guys offer the same functionality to your biggest release ever??
ReplyDeleteyes. GO North. I wanna do some snow driving out there.
ReplyDeleteGoing Nordic? that could be exciting ;D
ReplyDeleteOn this extension, giving us the opportunity to visit an additional 12 cities (9 Poland, Hungary, 2, and 1 Slovak city) I can not say nothing good and nothing bad, because I have not tried it. But I have a good offer ETS2 developers:
ReplyDeleteETS2 V2.1 extension 20 cities of the Baltic States (After the release of this extension) continues to expand:
Russia: 4 cities (Kaliningrad, Gusev, Sovetskas, St. Petersburg).
Lithuania: 4 cities (Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipeda, Panevezys)
Latvia: 6 cities (Riga, Liepaja, Ventspils, Daugavpils, Valka / Valga, Valmiera)
Estonia: 4 cities (Tallinn, Pärnu, Tartu, Narva).
Finland: two cities (Helsinki, Turku)
ETS2 V.2.2 southward extension of 15 cities in Italy
Austria: one city (Graz)
Slovenia 2 cities (Ljubljana and Maribor)
Italy: 12 cities (Rome, Padova, Genoa, Modena, Livorno, Bologna, Pescara, Naples, Salerno, Toronto, Bari and Palermo)
ETS2 extension v2.3 West direction - France 20 cities
France: 10 cities (Le Mans, Brest, Nantes, Angers, Tours, Limoges, Grenoble, Nice, Toulouse and Marcel).
Ireland: 2 cities (Dublin and Cork)
Spain: 8 cities (Madrid, Barcelona, Donostia San Sebastian, Bilbao, Zaragoza, Lleida, Valencia and Burgas)
ETS extension V.2.4 Scandinavian direction of 20 cities
Denmark: 5 cities (Copenhagen, Roskilde, Aalborg Odenzė and Velje)
Norway: 6 cities (Oslo, Moss, Bergen, Trondheim, Bodo and Narvik)
Sweden: 8 cities (Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmo, Uppsala, Stockholm, Östersund, Umeå and Kiruna)
1 town in Finland (Oulu).
I'm dreaming of seasons and more different weather conditions leading to different road conditions.
ReplyDeleteNext map addition should be Scandinavia though - the home of Volvo and Scania trucks.
Seasons would be awsome!
DeleteRomania
ReplyDeleteScandinavia! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat next? I would suggest Humble SCS Bundle for the next thing! Make the world see you and at least acknowledge your games!
ReplyDeleteThe EAST is coming!!
ReplyDeleteand hopefully all the full Europe soon enough :D
They're finally releasing there first DLC and everybody is crying and bitching about spain, france and f#ck&ng italy and new trucks. Can't you just appreciate the fact that they were working hard on this one and be gratefull?
ReplyDeleteThey ask us whats next idiot.
Deletehow about enough drivers to fill the garages, after 20 full garages there are no more drivers appearing..
ReplyDeleteat what Level number i can reach EXCELENCE?
ReplyDeletefrance/spain/italy/portugal.
ReplyDeleteI'm dreaming of seasons and more different weather conditions leading to different road conditions.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
DeleteBalkan area (Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Albania, Greece, Turkey) should be implemented next as rightfully this region is East Europe so it would be fair to finish what you started.
ReplyDeleteTruck sim map already have spain, south africa, greece, balkan so i don't mind going to russia :D
ReplyDeleteSince I live in Finland I would of course love too see Northern Europe. But I'll buy any expansion you'll release.:)
ReplyDeleteWhat comes to other expansions than territories, maybe you could make one that adds more challenging roads and loading areas - like the ones in Scania Truck Driving Simulator. But keep it realistic, not every bend in the road can have an obsticle in it. Just make narrow roads and some tricky parts here and there. Maybe it could be a map pack that adds small roads to the existing map.
Dukla, Love You SCS!!!
ReplyDeleteIf you could extend to Romania would be more beautiful
ReplyDeleteWhen it comes to ETS2 and DLC's, the price is pretty irrelevant :)
ReplyDeleteA DLC for old truck models (MAN, Volvo, etc) would be amazing.
ReplyDelete1-Multiplayer. N.1 needed feature
ReplyDelete2-Reworked the silly unrealistic & dangerous entries and exit of highways & motorways
3-Redo the lighting system for a proper night time experience
4-Real City sizes, compared to the tiny scenery villages that even the capitals are currently
5-More trailers and related skills (public service contact skill. for example, allowing you to 'loan' a couple of police bike escort for your most dangerous or over sized loads)
etc, the features that can be added or the parts of the game that can be expended & improved upon are infinite.
Then maybe think about expending the map. But as a first Expansion, developing even further East despite that part of Europe being already the most expended was one weird choice.
===========================================================
ReplyDeletePoland: Kaliningrad (RUS) Belarus-Russia (Latvia-Lithuania)
============================================================
usless DLC nothig new, prob cracked that DLC :/
ReplyDeleteKidding??? 20 Euro? 1 euro is 2.6 Turkish Liras in Turkey wtf?
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely Scandinavia we have been supporting SCS games till beginning and a huge fan group can be found from here!!
ReplyDeleteGreece and other country's with belong to europe would be great let's open the airports in this simulator.
ReplyDeleteIt is possible the country's of the EU are connected to each other so do it to keep the euro truck simulator 2 fans happy.
Deletehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:EU-Hungary.svg
expansion to eastern europe is nice ,but we definatly need more cities in italy and france and an expansion to Spain and Portugal would be nice as well , personaly i would like to see Scandinavia on the map as well. so the job is not finished .
ReplyDeleteScandinavia would be nice, And if you could make tandem and option in the game that would be awesome.
ReplyDeleteWe wanna Balkan!!!
ReplyDeleteHow about Croatia... Im suggesting that all the time!!! P L E A S E ! ! !
ReplyDeleteFirst of all. Implement STEAM WORKSHOP!
ReplyDeleteNext MULTIPLAYER. And seriously - this can easily become MMO.
And go to Scandinavia. There is lot of potential ( Transbaltic and then Russia)
Add more truck models (older also) Ford, Tatra, Magirus, Astra, ( Freightliner or Sterling can be seen on EU roads too)
Rallies (gatherings) ingame
My suggestion No . 2 ETS2 developers : Please create here a very ETS2 world Let it go for 30 euro new and EUR 15 for existing customers to upgrade , and you will see how popular it will get .
ReplyDeleteETS2 patch v3 Europe as a whole ( which would be the final version ... )

The only thing i would like to see is a multiplayer version
ReplyDelete:)
Oh look. More of the same boring roads. Nobody looks at the landmarks. At least I don't...
ReplyDeleteWhat next? Gameplay improvements. I would quite enjoy something similar to the 'dangerous drives' in the Scania Driving Sim. Boring roads won't keep anyone interested for a long period of time. And to be brutally honest, managing a company isn't exactly a challenge. It's more of a patience matter (just wait for the drivers to increase rank, implicitly money).
And make use of those bus stations too. Maybe even implement some bus routes available as quick jobs.
There could be tons of ideas regarding gameplay improvements.
Please SCS NO MULTIPLAYER I hate MULTIPLAYER. Thanks
ReplyDeleteHello all
ReplyDeleteDo you want to appear ROMANIAN country in Euro Truck Simulator 2 ?
To be more larger the ETS2 map ?
Please sign the petition by clicking the Like button.
Thanks.

Forget about Poland, they seriously need to add Mordor.
ReplyDeleteWhat next? - Focus on American Truck Simulator :D, there is no good game like this on the market, so you will earn a lot of money :).
ReplyDeleteAbout ETS2 - Definitely new trucks and countries like Romania, Serbia, Bułgaria, Croatia etc. :)
Dukla pass have some fail [from screenshot) - Slovakia has correct flag, but Polish flag looks like have only red...
ReplyDeleteNext?
ReplyDeleteSome nice old school trucks and like in haulin your own trailers :-)
+1
DeleteMultiplayer?
ReplyDeleteProper German autobarns next then?
ReplyDeleteWhat next?
ReplyDelete1. DLC with trucks from 1980-2010 (MAN F2000, etc.)
2. Go North! Belarus, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Russian city Sankt Petersburg
3. Go South! Ukraine, Romania, Slovenia, Croatia, Kosovo, Serbia, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Greece, Moldovia, west Turkey, Albania, Montenegro, Bosnia and Hercegovina
4. Go West! Spain, Portugal, west France and south Italy
SCS, please make Ukraine, Romania, Slovenia, Croatia, Kosovo, Serbia, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Greece, Moldovia, west Turkey, Albania, Montenegro, Bosnia and Hercegovina !
ReplyDeletego north yeah ! (or south !)
ReplyDeleteWould love to see the Balkans included next!
ReplyDeleteWhat I'd love even more though is fixing what we already have. The AI is not very clever, I hate when I'm overtaking on a highway and then some idiot 20 m in front of me on the outside lane decides he would do so, too. So he changes lanes (while driving 20+ km/h slower than me) and this makes me slow down. And just when I'm done doing that he accelerates. WTF?! Also - cars driving at 40 km/h on trumpet interchanges when they can drive at 60 or even 70 without problem. Or even up to 90-100 on the outside ramps on cloverleafs.
Also, traffic coming out of freeways has the right of way on diamond interchanges. This way busy intersections like this are often jammed up and there's nowhere you can go if you're in the middle of the jam.
Interchanges are generally way downsized and thus quite dangerous. And cities surrounded by roads in all directions connect with them only at one side (for example Duisburg, Düsseldorf, Köln, Nürnberg, Stuttgart). This leads to redundant route lengthening.
It would also be refreshing if we had seasons and snow on the northern parts of the map.
And last, some more special trailers like extra long or wide ones.
That's what I can think of at this point. Thank you for your attention.
North, to Scandinavia! :D
ReplyDeleteI think it is a shame that it has not done one map of Ireland and Northern Ireland + tighten northern England (Scotland) ...
ReplyDeleteA northern expansion would be good.
ReplyDeleteAnother idea that I had the other day for a patch was to include a 'Hardcore' mode.
The way it would work is to have a 'license' system. I don't know if it works the same everywhere, but in the UK you get points added to your license if you are involved in an accident, speed, etc. If you get too many points then you are not allowed to drive for a period of time.
It would work the same way in the game where you have points added to your license if you break any of the traffic rules and if you get too many it would be game over (and the save could be deleted if you want to be mean).
Just an idea. ;)
What's next?? Maybe change the continents and do Australian Truck Sim...where you can drive semi, B-Double, B-Triple and Road Trains.. if you would do it, I would see it this way: the player would start with semi trailer and with the progress in the game he/she will be allowed to drive b-doubles and so on.. maybe as the last step the "Powertrain" (truck + 7 semi trailers). Also would be good to allow the players to hook up a few trailers going to different destinations (dropping them on the way and maybe picking up another), but limited it to the similar type of goods so the player would not end up pulling a tanker, car trailer and container as different load, different trailer behavior on the road. ohh and the weather, maybe from time to time the player would have drive through flooded roads as it happens very often in Australia.
ReplyDeleteyes very good point made I would love to see a aussie verson of truck sim.
Deleteanime you guys, I am Brazilian and I love this game I can not travel to their countries, but through the euro truck, am meeting places and landscapes of these countries, I'm marveling not know you wrote Serto'm using google translator sorry you I missed writing, hugs
ReplyDeleteGoing to be 8 DLC for this game, or at least so it is written in the editor.
ReplyDeletePlease put Romania in one of them.
I hope you didn't forget to put many speed radars on Polish roads to faithfully recreate situation in here (:P)
ReplyDeleteguys please help mi, i would like to know how you have to save my progress euro truck please already had to format my pc and lost everything I had done, and comesei all again, please someone help mi and how do, thanks
ReplyDeleteRomania? Pretty please? :)
ReplyDeleteAnd what's with that red flag next to the Slovak one in the 3rd picture?
Dear SCS software.
ReplyDeleteAdd The Game is realistic direction turn degres please.
900 degre < 0 > 900 degre.
Looking for Omsi Bus Simulator please.
Thanks.
As said some players on top of this subject, the possibility to buy our own trailers will be very nice and also more difficult the game should be, when from England to Warsaw there is no real challenge and improve AI Trucks so that they overtake us as actually they driving at 80/kmh instead of 90 km/h or more we can drive without the speed limiter.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing i want right now is to be able to see our hired driver on the road. Like in the old pttm game
ReplyDeleteI would like the next DLC to expand to Portugal and Spain
ReplyDeleteALL THE SIGNS DO NOT TELL ME HOW FAR I HAVE TO GO. A SIGN LIKE: "Berlin" SAYS NOTHING! I CAN BE 1000km away or i CAN BE 1metre AWAY!
ReplyDeleteTHIS IS AS DUMB AS THE GERMAN AUTOBAHN AND ITS EXIT RAMPS!
Next DLC? Scandinavia please.
ReplyDeleteme gustaría un país o una provincia de Europa que allá cierras o montañas le da cierto realismo al juego y que te cases de la montaña
ReplyDeleteScandinavia
ReplyDeleteThat'a good idea, i have in my game lots of drivers working for my company like 50 i think i have never seen one of them in any road or high ways, as their trucks have significant colors compared to AI trucks who have simple colors like white or blue.
