Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!


We would like to wish to all of our loyal fans Merry Christmas and all the best in the New 2014 Year! With your ever growing support we believe we can push our games to the new heights in the next year!

Today we are beginning to show the nominees for Christmas and The New Year Paint Job Competition.

We have already received plenty of awesome paint jobs and more are coming daily from you. We can't wait to share them with you. Don't forget that you can still submit your paint job work as we will be accepting them until end of this year. From today we will be uploading your creations to the World of Trucks front page.

      Please give them more time. They cannot just simply release a game in such a hurry because of users like you, because the game would lack testing and stuff. And you'd be the first to complain. It will be ready when it's ready.

    Thanks SCS best wishes to you too. I like ATS pictures, now there is taxi also in the traffic. I will play ETS and ATS when you release the game. That is going to be even more fun playing two simulators instead of one and on two different continents.       Don't use illegal map mods, they will only cause problems and crash your game. Instead you can buy the Going East DLC which will give you a few new cities.

      Since when it is illegal to use map mods with the game? If you are referring to the message the game gives you about mods, it calls them unauthorized because they are not from scs and therefore not the responsibility of scs to fix if your game breaks. I use the pro mod map every day that I play the game, and I do it right along side the going east dlc.

      To answer the original question, check out promods.net. The map fully integrates with the going east dlc and all you have to do is sign up on their site, download it, unzip the files, and do the scs files in your ets2 mods folder, then enable it in game.

      Even with a map mod though, I still recommend purchasing the dlc if you have not because the dlc helps support the developer and the better support they get from us, the more they can give back to us.

      The promods map is indeed a perfect map mod, just register and you can download 1.5.2 (i think)! But be warned for patch 1.9 with the new AI mod!! All map MODS (so not the DLC) will be **** up and you have to wait for a newer version of that map mod (so you have to download a newer version of for instance promods or another map mod you use).

      All mod authors for the map mods like promods and tsm are aware of that and probably the creators are beta testers of ets2 so for sure they will create new versions of there current map since 1.9 change a lot of things in the map format. Also mod authors who have created realistic physics mods are aware of that issue too. This mods will break with the patch 1.9. And then who knows which other mods will break. We will see new mods for the version 1.9 just like in the previous.
      I use pro mods and going east dlc and haven't experienced a crash.
      Every time a new patch is released for ets2 i recommend to backup your profile, the Euro Truck Simulator 2 folder in My documents. I use winrar and i just make a zip file of the folder.

    A very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you too. The game has really been transformed.

    Your hard work in 2013 which has been at no cost to me is really much appreciated. As far as I know, you've reworked the engine of the Renault from the ground up. The Iveco has brand-new sounds and gear shifting sequence. Then there's dynamic fuel which is encouraging me to short shift and coast more. What is amazing is this is the tip of the iceberg as you've reworked so many other aspects of ETS2.

    May the team at SCS have a very productive and propsperous 2014!

      fuck you piece of shit. SCS has worked very hard. Its a small company so what on earth do you expect from a small company. Go and create your own company and then see how it feels to work hard. If you want to see best results from the patches you just have to have fuckin patience like me and everyone. Would you like to have a patch thats full of bugs? I dont think so! Writing ai is difficult especially in games. SCS doesn't work on one project ets2. They work on American truck simulator and world of trucks

This patch will be one of the best in ets2. Not that the other patches are bad, its just that this will change the ai code and physics and maybe more things.     My country of Latvia is very glad will join the eurozone Also as Estonia last year, in 2015 the eurozone will be entered by Lithuania. Right now while in Baltic Euros use Estonia and Latvia.

      learn how to write moron! we are not owners of SCS and neither you. You dont understand how hard scs has worked. Patches need time to be made. If SCS released a patch thats messed up and contains bugs then everyone (and u) would go to the forum and post bugs. so for the last time STFU. you have no idea of how to make money.
