Let's hit the road and explore Greece's highways and byways! In this blog, we're excited to showcase the intricate road network we've been working on for the upcoming Greece map expansion in Euro Truck Simulator 2.
Truckers will be able to get to Greece through six different border crossings. We have already shown you three of those in this blog. After arriving into the country, players will be able to travel in all directions thanks to multiple highways that we have recreated for this map expansion - the A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, A7, and A8 - which will get you pretty much everywhere you need to go and will also include plenty of interesting and meticulously crafted intersections.
An important transportation hub will be the IgoumenÃtsa ferry, which acts as a vital point of access on the west coast of Greece, connecting the country with Italy. From there, three major European roads will await drivers and lead them through the rest of the country.
The E55 starts all the way north in Sweden and continues to the south of the Peloponnese peninsula. The E90 connects Portugal with Turkey and crosses Greece from the west to the Turkish border through Thessaloniki and then along the coastline. The E92 connects Greece's west coast with its east coast and goes through many cities, including Trikala.
