Agreed. Looks really good. My only problem, and it is a small one, is that we still don't have proper slip roads in UK, i.e. the M25 goes to two lanes when there is a turn off. Other than that does look nice, and the physics are massively improved.

ReplyDeleteJust checked out the first few deliveries of the demo. This game is so much better than I imagined! I'm mostly surprised by how well-optimised the engine is compared to how it was with Scania-TDS; hardly any slowdowns or stuttering.
ReplyDeleteThe routes are all very well mapped out and my first delivery was from Carlisle to Glasgow delivering some logs. All the management options are quite in-depth, especially the levelling up system with the skill points into about 6 different categories. Awesome work SCS you should be proud!!
I had a chat with EA Live Support. They gave me a number of the marketing divison to have some more information. Going to call them when they're available.

ReplyDeleteUmm guys how do you sleep in game ?? im at the service station on the M1 in England heading for birmingham but there's no Zzz icon's like in ETS1, i can see beds on the map and im right on top of it, tryed just turning off the engine but i just sit there, cant fine a key to sleep or anything on screen about it. Am i just being dum or is the game mission some Zzzz icons in the game ???

Felt so good to be driving along the countryside on what could best be described as a sideroad. I did download again in this morning just in case the first download is corrupted, because of slow download speeds. In the morning download speeds were much better.

If the download speed is slow, try one of the other links, the server bandwitdh aren't maxed out for the time being, so it should be posible for you to reach a decent download speed :-)

DeleteI am extremely disappointed with the final product of ETS2. I don't regret one bit that I spent the money, because the guys worked hard for this (seemingly at least). But to be honest I like Scania Truck Simulator more: graphics, gameplay, physics. ETS2 trucks move as if they are in an arcade game.
