Introducing the MAN TG3 TGX

The wait is over! We are excited to officially announce the arrival of the highly anticipated MAN TG3 TGX, now available in Euro Truck Simulator 2 at your nearest in-game MAN trucks dealership, with a variety of customization options. 

Made for long-haul transport, this new MAN TGX features an ergonomically optimized cabin, efficient driveline, economical fuel consumption, high load capacity, and a redesigned cab; making it the perfect partner for any job on the road. 

Ready to get trucking? The MAN TG3 TGX arrives with a select choice of configurations and customizations. This includes 3 cabin sizes (GN, GM, GX), 6 chassis types (4x2, 6x2, 6x4, and 8x4), 8 transmissions, and 9 engine options up to 640hp. 

There are lots of customizations available for this truck too, including the options for roof deflectors, front fender aero package, roof deflectors, headlights and rear lights, bumpers, mudflaps, and 19 official paint jobs including the grey Individual Lion S special. Inside the cabin, you'll find options to customize the interior in 3 different trims, 7 seat variants, 2 steering wheel options, and 2 carpet options, alongside the other customization points you can use to personalize your interior. 

But that's not all, you will also have the option to use the MAN OptiView digital mirror system. Using exterior cameras, this technology increases the driver’s field of vision on the road. This also comes with a blindspot detector accessory with new functionality as well as the option to display the front digital mirror on the infotainment screen.

New MAN TGX In The Making

Last December, during our traditional Christmas stream, we showed some WIP development images of a truck that our vehicles team have been working on for Euro Truck Simulator 2. That truck of course is the new MAN Truck Generation TGX.

Today, we are happy to share with you some progress that has been made on this upcoming truck in the form of some screenshots! As you can see, since that original stream, our vehicles team has made quite a bit of progress; but there is still plenty of work to be completed. 

Rest assured, our teams are still working hard, and with plenty of work and testing still on the road ahead, we will be making sure that all our quality standards are met before we release it.

Euro Truck Simulator 2 1.43 Update: MAN TGX EfficientLine 3

Today, we are happy to share that with the 1.43 update we are going to tick off a "debt" we've had towards all the MAN TGX truck lovers for some time.  

In this upcoming update for Euro Truck Simulator 2, along with all the other new content, we bring new parts and customization options that will allow you to upgrade your current MAN TGX to the long-requested EfficientLine 3 version. We believe that this addition will put some happy smiles on many faces from our #BestCommunityEver!

The MAN TGX EfficientLine 3 features an improved cab interior, a new dashboard, and various exterior changes including a new front grille design. The MAN TGX EL3 option will be made available at the in-game MAN dealership or as an upgrade at your nearest repair shop.

We know that many of you have been requesting this update for a while now. We appreciate your feedback and patience with us and we hope you'll enjoy these new options for your mighty MAN truck while our vehicle artists are already working hard on multiple new vehicles for both ATS and ETS2!
