Moon Landing Anniversary

On July 16, 1969, at 13:32:00 UTC, The Apollo 11 Saturn V space rocket blasted off from the Kennedy Space Center, sending astronauts Commander Neil Armstrong, lunar module pilot Buzz Aldrin and a command module pilot Michael Collins on an incredible mission to the moon and back.

It would take three days to travel through outer space to the moon, and even more impressive was the technology that took them there. The journey was made with a computer with 1,300 times less processing power than the average smartphone you hold in your hand today.

On July 20 at precisely 20:17pm UTC, The Apollo 11 Lunar Module Eagle landed on the surface of the Moon, as the world watched as Neil and Buzz take their first steps on the moon and spoke the famous words 'That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind".

To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of this historic event, we are releasing a very special Space Paint Job Pack for American Truck Simulator, including a few unique accessory items for your truck cab. We are sure it'll make your rig look out of this world.

And to showcase our new paint job pack, we're having a stream this evening on both Twitch and Steam from 15:00 UTC. There'll be some talk, Q&A, giveaways - and a very special person you didn't see in our streams yet!
