We are continuing in our quest - to cover the territories where Euro Truck Simulator 2 has a lot of players - with a new paint job DLC pack. This time we are paying tribute to Japan.
Very surprisingly even for us, the number of activated copies of the game in Japan puts the country into a Top 15 list, so we thought that it should definitely be included.
We would like to eventually cover at least the Top 20 regions, so in the next few months, our players in the Netherlands, Turkey, or South Korea can look forward to receiving a paintjob treatment. At the same time, our goal is to cover Europe for ETS2, surely the European countries where we have a sizeable loyal player base, as we of course understand the complaints from players for example from Italy or Hungary that they do not have their own flags available yet. So more paintjobs are still on the way, and there is also a refresh of the paint job selection user interface screen on the way to make the interface less clumsy when working with a long list of choices.
Some of our fans complain that we pay attention to such unimportant cosmetic stuff (from their point of view anyway), when we should push to include the more important features. At the same time, we get a constant stream of e-mails from players in countries that we do not yet have covered by paintjobs, asking us to finally create their national paintjobs pack.
Rest assured that the work on paintjobs does not detract our attention from any other development projects going on at SCS Software. It is handled by a dedicated micro-department consisting of two talented artists, working at their own pace. It is not a major source of revenue for us, and the pricing policy we have in place makes it clear that we do not plan to get rich selling truck liveries. Yes, every little bit helps, but we see the work on new paintjob packs mostly as a service to our playerbase.

Noice! :)
ReplyDeletebest regards to the two talented guys!
i hope you add greek paintjobs too sometime even though it's not in the game map (i wish it was...)
ReplyDeletethere are many fans here too :)

DeleteAre you kidding me? Akula is right. More retard DLC and more and more
ReplyDeleteIs that Akula?
DeleteYes :D
DeleteAkula is only complaining all the time and not even appreciating the work SCS are putting into the game. If he doesn't like it, he can simply stop commenting and criticizing SCS. If he doesn't like it, and this goes by anyone. Shut up, and create your own game or content. Don't complain all the time on every SCS's post.
DeleteBe grateful to them instead.
Personally, I like every DLC they put out there. I'd happily pay them because they are worth the money. Stop complaining. Seriously.
of course this unknown guy is Akula :D
DeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
DeleteSorry, neither worth the money nor the time.
DeleteGo through the first ten or twenty pages of pictures posted on World of Trucks and tell me how many of these DLC paintjobs you can see.
99% of cases custom paintjobs come from mods or are those in-game paint-selectable ones.
I'm not hating on the game or on SCS. Hell, I think they put AAA developers to shame with the progress that ETS2 keeps making. I simply think that these DLC paintjobs aren't QUITE the place to put even a small part of their focus.
I end up buying every piece of DLC because I feel I owe it to SCS for the amount of enjoyment I have gotten from playing this game. Especially seeing as my Steam profile shows that I have spent (as of the time of this post) 1644 hours playing it, by far my most played game on Steam.
DeleteLol i don't think someone using these crap DLC's.. As the member above me says, in my entire 3 years gaming expirience with ETS 2 i never saw a photo with those craps.. Its useless, instead doing somebetter for ETS 2 like physic, sound, improvements they do crap paints
Deletewell said 👍 (about Akula's complaining) those who do nothing but complain and criticise SCS just shouldn't play the game! they want it to how they want it, and I'm once again happy to, nice work SCS. keep it up.
Deletep.s don't criticise the Japanese, they make great cars ;) like my subaru and my big brothers civic
They give free trucks, but paid DLC? lmao... I want to buy game trough steam, but i must pay 15 euro for crap DLC's that i won't use em never? nice joke

Thanks for the support <3

DeleteLOL theses guys are some kind investors to game?
Deleteonly know how to complain, are crying for SCS put their stupid ideas at all costs the game
It seems more like children who are raised by his grandmother
get a job motherfucker, or go play other game, or kill yourself ;D
I'm not japanese or anything close to it, but 'll bought this DLC with praise ;)
Cmon, this game is very far from simulator... Its a simarcade

Name please all 20 most selling countries and i am waiting for the Baltic states paint jobs :)
ReplyDeleteHow about adding flag pennants and scarfs for interior with all these country DLCs ?
ReplyDeleteBest comment yet!!
DeleteGreat idea! They need to connect the DLCs more and not just leave them standalone, like they did with the halloween paintjobs and cabin accessories.
DeleteWorldwide flags paintjob dlc - 29.99€ Many people would by it! :DD + add the rest of balkan countries
DeleteOr ... take 5 minutes and create them in Photoshop and just add them using more DEF files. You can have all the countries you want as long as you have flag images off Google. :) That was one of the first things I did when i bought the accessories DLC. Well ... that and putting an anime outfit on the hula girl :)
DeleteYou can do that but if SCS released flags with countries then it's not the same thing...You pay for "your country DLC" and know that you get more than just some outside paintjobs that you don't even see if you are driving first person.
DeleteGOOOOOD COMMENT! ^^
Deleteindonesian paint jobs please
ReplyDeleteWOW, impressive! Good job!
ReplyDeleteINDONESIA!
ReplyDeleteVery nice. Any chance of getting an Aussie one some day? ;)
ReplyDeletePaint jobs are paint jobs. It is obvious that paint jobs are making graphic designers not programmers. We are telling you all the time about our wishes about ETS2. So if we see that you are preparing World of Trucks for something else than multiplayer, it is sad. You don't mentions about rigid trucks, tandems, double trailers, own trailers, multiplayer, new models of trucks for ETS2, seasons. May be someday it will done be but no one knows when. So that's why we complain all the time.
ReplyDeleteIt's already been said there will never be officially multiplayer in ETS2, and probably rightfully so. I have seen YouTube. The current MP mod is genius, but the people driving in it are all just a joke - playing GTA with trucks. I'd rather the devs focus on ATS development than MP. Someone already created MP - we do NOT need two for the same game.
DeleteThe same can we say about seasons, tandems, double trailers. Moders did that. But that's not the point, is it? Let it be done as it should be.
DeleteThank you for Japanese Paint JobsPack DLC.
ReplyDeleteArigatou SCS!
Really scs.. I been asking for hungarian paintjob! I would be so nice to support scs more! :( and more balkan countries! Fuck mods and haters
ReplyDelete/ cool paintjob btw
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!

So many unthankfull comments... No one has forced you to buy this DLC - and it's about two fucking euros. Such people complaining about this, i just want to slap them with a fish. I've red this blog since the very begining but never dropped a comment before. But now i fell like it's nescesary. So much stupid idiots...
ReplyDeleteWell, it's called Euro Truck, not Japan Truck. Not complaining, but when I see the speed at for example ProMod is building maps makes me wonder what ETS is doing all the time since they claim to be very busy. Then, when you see all these paintjobs I think people will ultimately loose interest in ETS. I'm waiting for ATS and I'm not the only one. Why, because it's something new, new terrain and country. When ATS comes out I will drop ETS instantly, and many will do the same. How to get me back to ETS? Release new maps, paintjobs don't add anything for the general public, new maps will.
DeleteGood first comment ETRVTC - seriously
DeleteWell said.
Delete@D.P.O... Yes its funny to see how a modders are faster than SCS, they will do whole Europe, SCS won't do even the half of the Europe
DeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteWhy Ukrainian Paint Jobs is not in develop?
ReplyDelete+ Join, why Ukrainian Paint Jobs pack there ?
DeleteI'm only going to buy paint jobs, that have a country in-game. So you either make Benelux, Austria, Italy, Slovakia, Hungary paint jobs, or don't wait for my money.
ReplyDeleteExactly! Hungarian painjob please! /good comment bro
Deletebought: 1x Retail GoldEd, 1x Steam GoldEd, 2x Scandinavia(received VikingPaints too), 2x Flip Paint Design, 2x High Power Cargo, 1x Metallic(second from WOT), 2x (Canadian, French, German, UK, USA), 1x Cabin accesories, received 1xRaven. I pay in future only for map, trucks, upgrade parts (I wait for a larger tires pack, not only michelin ), trailers.
ReplyDeletewhen I wish to support SCS (ask myself if they really deserve) , i buy another copy of the game (or the worth DLCs Pack i have also bought) and make a gift to a friend... Encourage these CRAP paintjobs with dragons, snowman, pumpkins, witches, ...make no sense for me. IF they want money from paints, I wait something that worths, smthg like Flip Paint Designs, or similar with Raven, or those already in the game.
ReplyDeleteBUT more gainful for them, would be USING these 2 PERSONS for making BETTER TEXTURES.
when is the belgian one coming?
ReplyDeleteありがとうございます。 (Arigatou gozaimasu.) ;)
ReplyDeleteI bought the last humble bundle , gave 0.00$ to SCS Software.
ReplyDeleteHumble bundle bought it from SCS, so at the end of the day you are supporting SCS anyways.
Delete- Thank you for your support. <3
"we do not plan to get rich selling truck liveries"
ReplyDelete2$ a paitnjob pack x30 European Countries + x20 top playing countries + other ridiculous one at 3-5$
And you need all paintjobs for playing the game? I bought just one of my country and that is all. 0.9 € paid.
DeleteOh. come off it Akula... SCS are making pennies (cents) off the paintjobs whilst new truck models are completely free. By way of contrast, go take a look at Train Simulator... you need to fish out over $5000 to get every train, route and livery addon they've produced, which it utterly disgraceful... Railworks are an example of extreme customer extortion, whereas SCS charges less than a McDonalds Happy Meal per paint job. Hell, even buying the entire set of paint job addons is probably cheaper than feeding a family of 5 at a McDonalds. So no, SCS are not getting rich once you deduct expenses... do learn some economics and apply a little reality to your trollish arguments. You've probably spent more on your electricity bill crying on SCS blogs that you could have save and spent on a couple of paint jobs. You really are an illogical jester.
DeleteCould you include a Welsh DLC of things of Wales as Scotland got a dlc when they're apprt of the uk
ReplyDeletePlease add the cosmetics later on when you finish the full Europe map.. because right now you can't call it Euro Truck Simulator all the way.
ReplyDeleteWe need map expansion for Ireland, France and Italy.. just imagine the Ferry routes from England to Ireland or from Ireland to France. Sounds amazing!
Greetings SCS! I'm glad to hear that aren't focused just on paintjobs, though I have to say that if ATS is going to be released in a few months, many players would lose their interest in playing Ets2. According to that, it would be essential that you bring a lot of new features to Ets2 in the upcoming in order to make players attracted to the game further on. I really hope for new map expansions also, like Ireland, France and so on, because otherwise the game will get very boring. It might be a fact that you have a seperate team working on paintjobs, but we all would love to hear about more interesting things than that. Ets2 has scope for improvement. If anyone agrees with me, point it out so that SCS can see how important it is for us to make the game further on interesting. In my belief it's getting boring. If we also bare in mind that we await trucks such as the new MAN or the new Mercedes Benz Actros which is still not in the AI Traffic.
ReplyDeleteMap expansions would be cool.
DeleteAs for features, they already assured us that anything they develop for ATS will be duplicated into ETS2, since both are using the same engine. Same with ETS2 developments being ported into ATS. The latest development I absolutely love is the upcoming tires DLC. That's going to be cool indeed :)
East ... east .... east .... lol ... I will kill my self .... come on guys ...
ReplyDeletePlease teach your interns to do map upgrades instead of useless paintjobs. :)
ReplyDeleteAgree, we don't need this paintjobs.. many people use plain colour or them tribal stuff with multi paint option.
DeleteDo you mind in the next blog post of ATS post pics of all the trucks interior ? still really want to see the VNL 780 how it looks like with high details.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely would love to see some more truck interiors for ATS :)
DeleteGreat but do DLC with more accesories to exterior truck pls!! :-))
ReplyDeleteOk... *drops his headphones, stands up and walks away*
ReplyDeleteSo if I establish a country which covers the whole area of my room (that's as large as several square meters!), I can say 100% of my people (in this case it should be "person") are ETS2 fans! What a high percentage! Therefore could you make a paintjob pack for MY country? XD
ReplyDeleteThis is excellent. Thank you for this. I was concerned that such a wonderful country would not get a DLC.
ReplyDeleteTo those who are whining, moaning and losing their lives over paints being released - I paint trucks myself. it does not take a dev team to create paints. I created an entire fleet of 45 uniquely painted trailers and 12 uniquely painted trucks in one evening just by fiddling with layers in the templates I was using. So people thinking that the "entire dev team is wasting time on paints" - you are on some serious crack.
Same thing with all the ATS comments - they have DIFFERENT people working on that LOL. Let the poor painters do their job without the whining. They are doing a good job.
WE DONT WANT TO MOD IT! REAL SCS FANS (NOT LIKE YOU) DONT WANT TO MOD IT, WE WANT SCS TO DO IT SO WE CAN SUPPORT THEM... DONT YOU UNDERSTAND???
DeleteI understand better than you do, apparently. I also understand that you believe that anyone who mods hates SCS. You also have a viewpoint that I hate SCS. That is the most idiotic view I have ever read.
DeleteI am a fan of SCS and I support them fully. I buy all of their DLC just to support them. But ... hey ... I am not a fan and I apparently hate SCS because I have a creative side.
And it is interesting that you want so badly to supposedly support them, yet you complain about every DLC they ever release. And you say you are the fan. ~shrug~ Well ... have fun with that.
Also, if you want to support SCS so badly, then try being at least thankful for what they are giving us. MOST games that have been out this long have LONG fallen out of support. You, of course, will never see that, so I am wasting my breath here.
Either way - SCS - thanks for the paints :)
"Yet you complain about every DLC they ever release" i have NEVER complaid about their work.. Never ever! With that said you probably lie in this whole comment, just make my brain hurt that people like you still exist!
DeleteOh that's right ... people like me. Just say what you mean ... "modders". You hate that modders exist because, as you stated so clearly in ALL of your posts, modders are haters because we mod. Here are some facts, kiddo:
Delete1 - SCS loves modders. That is why they created the game to be so mod friendly. They even give us toolkits to express our creativity.
2 - You must REALLY hate 50Keda. he was a modder. His mods resulted in him getting on with SCS. So that must be bugging you very much right now that one of us, the "haters", are employed by SCS now.
It is sad that you absolutely hate modders so much. The reason is probably that you hate that we are creative. It is sad that you are so hateful, but hey, do not worry. Not all of us are so full of aggression and hate. Some of us still love SCS for what they do and appreciate what they gave us :)
Did i say: Hey Faelandqea dravin.. Ihate modders.. No i meant mods with paintjobs.. You acting lile a child you big scs fan xD
DeleteLove to talk to BIG modders like you who knows everything, one of my polish friends are big modder to promods and i dont really care that much! But i dont like mods that much.. Keep the game original, keep it real and simple! You are not cool beacause you can do mods.. of course i have some mods but i dont want the whole game to be mods when scs team can make it and we can pay/support them.. Thats why i want less mods and support them! Get it fan boy?
DeleteI don;t think I am better than anybody. You, however stated:
Delete"Fuck mods and haters"
So you contradict yourself. "Hey I have Polish friend who mods ... fuck mods" Wow, you need to make up your mind. Either you don;t mind mods or you think we're all evil. It can't be both.
You just totally made an idiot of yourself. Oh ... and fanboy comments do not hurt me, eve though it applies more to yourself than me. By your standards and what you stated above, "fanboys" don't mod. They "keep it real".
You seriously need to get over your aggression issues. :)
I see you still cant read! Read last comment again and you will find my awnser in the end! Mods why not, but if scs can do it too, and WE can support them why not! So yeah i prefer less mods and more dlc's that scs do! :) DO YOU UNDERSTAND??? :)
DeleteAnd as i wrote before.. With mods i meant: paintjob mod, not every mods like map mods and so on because thats something that scs will not make, but im pretty sure they will make hungarian paintjob
DeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteGreat Job again. Big THX for Hard work every day.
ReplyDeleteGreat Job again. Big THX for Hard work every day.
ReplyDeleteWOW !
ReplyDeleteLately every post from SCS contains "dlc" in it...
SCS if you are so hungry for money, make a solid multiplayer platform for this game and charge people for upgrades/paint jobs/tunning parts/tyres and any tiny details... Then your going to see serious income ;)
While I do understand that a notable slice of the community loves these tiny paintjob DLCs, personally I would much more prefer to see specific liveries and paintjobs for the companies we take assignments for in Quick Job mode.
ReplyDeleteSCS, does the team have plans to create paintjobs for the in-game companies? Personally, I think this would support immersion better than the current Paintjob DLC line-up, even if the stock companies are all made-up. I'd be happy to pay 1-2 euros for such a package, considering its effects on realism.
No disrespect meant for the paintjob artists, though - I think they produce stellar work, it's just that I'm not really into these types of DLCs.
this is a nice idea
DeleteNo kawaii?
ReplyDelete:( Hopeless!!! I do not like paint job DLC.
ReplyDeleteWell there are still many nationals playing ETS2 and log on world of trucks, however profiles including register plate are still restricted not to cover those nationals and countries whits are playing the game. Even in Europe, there are many different nationals driver for real bisness. I wish for personal profile to update my own Finland register plate, same as to the game and even for ATS!
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteWhen will we insert a new country !
can you add paint job for EGYPT :)
ReplyDeleteHow many from india?
ReplyDeleteWE NEED WEST
ReplyDeleteこれはすごい変形例です。
ReplyDeleteI might sound like a minority over here, but I would absolutely love to see a Bosnian Paint Jobs DLC pack. Please!
ReplyDeleteI feel they same way but Hungarian! Good comment
DeleteYou could add an option to put a company logo on a side of a truck, and write the company name, as it happens in real life (and what is even mandatory). It is easy to do, and it will add a lot to visual realism of the game. Also, what would be very easy to add is proper truck and trailer markings (e.g. for pulling toxic waste, flammable liquids etc.). Just a suggestion, something that won't be a problem to add to the game (even if as DLC), and it is necessary in a game called a simulator.
ReplyDeletegood call
DeletePavel, please add Northern Ireland/Republic of Ireland to the game. It's been missing since ETS1.
ReplyDeletethey are making it in the shadows m8, they will come with it
Deleteway to go. Leroy the Good workshop guys
ReplyDeleteBy the way, any plans for map extensions, such western europe?
spain portugal france
DeleteGreat news.
ReplyDeleteI purchased it and these are pretty good design. :-)
Totally agree. I believe there are many activated copies in Slovakia too! :)
ReplyDeleteI wonder why we barely get any news about the upcoming Euro Coach Simulator .I'm highly anticipating this game and I hope SCS will reveal some more information about this project in a future newsletter. However, a map expansion of Ets2 to the west would make players continue playing it with enthusiasm, despite the fact that many will switch over to ATS exclusively. That's my point of view.
ReplyDeleteBut when SCS Software´s will do the western expansion, Spain,France,Portugal, and the corresponding paint jobs.
ReplyDeleteMaybe in 2020 or so......
Deletefirst let them improve the default gaming look at dat world on default map...so stupid....i apreciate latest expansion though...and hopefully 2020 we have other developers making a truck game [SIMULATION] better than this crap..
DeleteWho knows what will happen till then.... This game has scope for improvement and to our big dismay nothing form that has come to fruition yet.
DeleteWhere is info on 1.22??
ReplyDeleteWhen we will received an information about "Rigids"??
ReplyDeleteI thought we would 1.22 update by now its taking along time
ReplyDeleteThe game is getting so boring! No info, just nothing exept from some trivial paintjobs and other useless cosmetic stuff. Despite the fact that tyre physics may add a lot of realism to the game, this is not enough. I hope you will take that into consideration SCS and reveal us some interesting info. Personally I will buy ATS, but I would have hoped some more effort would be put into Ets2 and if this isn't the case I'll abandon Ets2 once and for all. The game is far away from being called a simulation. Significant changes must be made.. we can't see anything! Not even a newsletter! That's really disappointing!
ReplyDeleteYes the game is far from simulator.... But i couldn't get one thing.. They did recording a real truck sound... See their official youtube channel.. Recorded DAF E6 and the new M. Benz... Did they were too lazy to record at least original blinker and horn sound lol?
DeleteThat's very curious indeed. I can barely imagine what SCS is planing. However, if they continue releasing such utter nonsense, such as paintjobs and other cosmetic stuff I'll abandon Et2 as soon as ATS comes out. The game needs so much improvement, for instance real blinker and interior sounds, as you mentioned, but that's wishful thinking that this will happen in my point of view. Another case would be, that they are trying to make Ets2 boring in order to gain a huge profit from ATS. Besides, tyres may be a nice little feature, but this isn't enough. I doubt if this game will be ever deserve being called a simulator.

ReplyDeletehttp://s24.postimg.org/oq758v3bp/9189152202_094813.jpg
ReplyDeletelittle details that could make this game nicer:
ReplyDelete--SOUND and KEYBIND for fastening the SEATBELT
--Fog Lamps
--REALISTIC and RANDOM (over time and country specific) : PRICES (for trucks, parts, garages, updating garage slots, fixing truck, fuel, assistance service...), FINES (forever 300 and 550?), TAXES (on barriers, customs), LOANS (same values for loan and VAT forever, everywhere?) and EARNINGS (JOB-PROFIT IS TOO HIGH on HIGH LEVELS >> reduce the bonus % and base earning too)
--at least Messages (or better Sneak-Peak video-animations) for loading(unloading) the trailer, and for cargo documents
http://s24.postimg.org/oq758v3bp/9189152202_094813.jpg
Why would there be a seatbelt when there is no visible driver model except from external views, not even hands on the wheel? Even then he can't get in and out, so the sound would be superfluous. TBH I find the sound effect for the driver's seat suspension a touch irritating and wish it could be muted... I'd oil the bloody thing!
DeleteThis game is now becoming boring just is succesfull because of amount of mods available.....its so far behind the times....look at poor optimisation of graphics no proper fxaa mlaa and filtering...trees look like plastic everywhere roads are with few cars or trucks with same trailers and AI traffic is SHIT... no roads looks real trucks are good but what about d world i think games name is EURO TRUCK SIMULATOR and it does not give the feeling of EURO ......and a SIMULATOR ..everyone here is like ' ohhh its a small company we are trying our best' ....and look at that mess....UK is so ignored only few cities and no scenery lookin like UK ...each country has its own rules in EU..but d game is all similar everywhere....stop making us FOOL and make a game that actually can called a simulator look at TS 2015 OHH thats a sim however there are problems in dat too [everything is for a price]....but its keeping its standard ....SCS should startover again....and really just concentrate on their genre.....
ReplyDeleteI know right! The engine sounds nothing like real trucks and the physic too! Cab bounce in real life but in this game it doesn't!!
DeleteSeriously tho, SCS should sell the project to Oovee. Those guys know how to make SIMULATOR. Look at Spintires, the physic is absolutely amazing and the effects as well, everythings realistic! ETS2 is not a simulator, it's an arcade game. Nowhere near ''Simulator''
seriously man dey gotta improve the bullshit..here....i see the videos on youtube on trucking in europe and .........i m like holy shittt..what m i driving in dat game..look at those ferry ports....look near amsterdam and rotterdam area that europort is so stupid in d game....who make such small cities...dey gotta update everything....the default stuff..instead of making a DLC....
DeleteIt's very bad that this game is depending on mods... SCS barelѕ give us news, otherwise the game without mods would be 2/10
DeleteAs someone said... Spintires.. Look at that awesome physic.. Why ETS couldn't have it too? I have feel that I drives always a van instead big truck . Also I've look some real life truck videos on youtube, and I've became jealous because we couldn't have atleast half of that in the game
Deleteyeah spintires is good game.....lets not talk abt physic here ets 2...is childish game...where u just have to pick some cargo..deliver it to a destination with a unreal trailer [all sound and look the same while driving] ....empty highway with no traffic or rather nonsense ...on same intersection giving u feeling like u were going round and round...same place ...ohh look in ets 2 world is so simple...no traffic , high fares , easy cargo , fuel is cheap and trucks are so easy to get..and drive...LOL game SUCKS!!!!!!!!! WE WANT REALITY SCS NOT A NIGHTMARE
DeleteReally if I were on the place of SCS, I'd would make a real sim instead simarcade.. Trucks are very easy to control, no truck skidding while raining or at highspeed, unnatural sounds.. and etc... Even with a small bugdet I'd would make a real sim lmao;
DeleteEven mod makers make better engine sound, physic than SCS themselves..
DeleteAny update about Coaches ?
ReplyDeleteI am extremely excited for Buses in this game.
Pavel Sebor said on the interview that Coach Simulator is stopped.
DeleteCool. They need to stick to what they already have. If people want to drive busses that's what OMSI is for.
DeleteI am surprised at the amount of people though that are trying to compare this game to a realistic simulator. This is a game. The official genre is game. And if someone wants to try to play the "it's in the title" card, I'll simply refer you to goat simulator. You can't hold a game grammatically to a title like that. Instead go by the genre.
ohhkk.....u even know what a simulator is....just a casual question .....
Deleteokk if u have not played games like spin tires, Train simulator 2015 [one of d best] etc than u dont knw whats a simulator feels like.....simulation is genre a different one that predicts the reality of world...by creating it virtually ...we have to deal with those real situations truckers face...while driving ETS2 no way is a sim....i now also believe that american sim will also be the same....software being an european company could not make sim similar to europe....america is too far.........
I have played all those games. That's what I was saying. ETS2 is not even in their genre, nor will it ever be. ATS will not be, either. Both are meant as gaming only, and as a sandbox for modders to have fun being creative. Though the other games mentioned are not simulations, either. A true simulation costs thousands of dollars to purchase. Everything mentioned here are just family level games to keep the kids out of your hair..
Deleteupdate THE GAME NOW!
ReplyDeleteI don't like this takes a whole fuc#ing week for some paintings that it shows that these idiots have nothing new to show us after this they still taking our money they say is for the company to grow SCS wants to get every penny out of ETS2 that's the reason they don't want to release ATS
ReplyDeleteI no longer support the ETS2 game. I still play the game, but there is no way in hell i'll dump any more money into it. (Not unless they offer something game changing). And personally, I don't see the "Japanese Paintjob DLC" as a game changing idea.... especially when Japan isn't even in the game in the first place.
ReplyDeleteLately, SCS has adopted this kick of tossing out meaningless DLC's. If the Cabin Assessories DLC wasn't bad enough, now SCS is gearing up to offer a Tire DLC. What's next? Hub Cap DLC? Usually, one would find these small trinkets added to a "real" DLC to add value for your purchase.
It wouldn't have been so bad if SCS would have offered a "PaintPack DLC" for each of its Maps. Look at the Scandinavian DLC map. Three countries. (Denmark, Sweden, and Norway). So ok then, offer a Scaninavian PaintPack DLC for those 3 countries and be done with it already. Same idea could have been done with the Going East DLC map. But instead, SCS deciced to spend over 3 years offering 1 country at a time, and now.... offering countries that aren't even in the damn game. Seriously, this is just getting crazy.
What makes it even worse, is that these paint packs aren't even for everyone. They have a target fanbase. Sure, we can all use them, but its obvious that SCS is looking to see where they are more popular, or rather, which group of people they can make the most money off of, and presto, DLC for them. As for everyone else, no paint pack for you. Maybe if more Canadians buy the game SCS will get around to giving a damn that I exist as one of their customers.
SCS said it themselves. They would like to create a paint pack for their fanbase in the top 20 countries. So if your not on that list of top 20 .... then what? What is SCS saying? You can go to hell because you're not worth their time? They won't make enough money off the people in your country to bother with acknowledging you? What's the message here?
At least the "Cabin Assessories DLC" (as pathetic as that was) was something that all players could adopt equally, without feeling that the DLC was really created for someone else.
Oh, and before someone attacks.... yes I know Canada was offered as a paint pack. I was speaking in general, and in respect to those still waiting for their country to be added.
DeletePersonally, I don't think ETS2 is going to progress past what we already have. I think its more of a ... "What you see is what you get" kind of deal. Right now, (IMO), SCS is just tossing out a bunch of trinket DLC's to manipulate people into continued support of a game that SCS doesn't have any plans of doing anything else with.
ReplyDeleteATS is just a very nice plan of selling the ETS2 game all over again. (Create an American map mod, add a few american trucks.... and presto. ETS2 sold again under a brand new title). Nice plan. Then the Paintjob DLC's will have a brand new map to spawn again. I can see it now.... one paintjob DLC per US state.
The sad wake-up call will be our realizing that ATS ended up exactly where ETS2 is today. Nowhere. We'll all wait week after week, month after month, for something meaty, and fun, to be added to the game, and instead, we'll get a few toys for the dashboard, another paintpack.
We'll likely never get seasons, or be able to purchase our own trailers. We'll likely never be able to see our trucks parked in our garage, or be able to customize our garages. A decent economy??? Nope, likely not going to happen. Flat tires? Better physics? Bigger cities? Probably not. But hey, if we all hold our breath long enough, maybe we'll be really lucky and get that Hub Cap DLC I mentioned in an earlier post. Or the ability to change our windshield wipers. Or some other useless idea for SCS to add the "DLC" stamp to and charge money for.
i know we are not going to get to buy your own trailers and double tralers and no smoke wen you start the truck ore step on the gas why because is the same old engine from ETS2 like you said ATS is just a very nice plan of selling ETS2 all over again i will like for other companies to star making truck games so we won't have to wait 3 years for A ETS2 copy game
DeleteYes probably ATS will be Euro with American trucks... Sad what doing SCS, as u said we waited so much long time just to get few toys and crap paintpack? omg...
DeleteSo true guys.. ATS will be another crap from SCS... Again with bad physic, sound, sleep-drive..... I think SCS is based on this sense:
Delete"Our SCS will do mess, Dear Modders will fix that"
SCS should stop making games they are not fit for it........atleast if u make...plz.. dont call it a simulation ...u r insulting the word simulation
DeleteThey should sell the game[ i mean copyrights] to better developer which can offer us a better game.....and SCS can make crappy DRIVING GAMES rather....and should abandon the project....
so true @ M U Z I C K M A G E SCS keeps fooling around.....i hate ets2 now....a crap
DeleteYes, you took my word.. :D... SCS should sell their project to better company which could care about "simulator", not this simarcade
Deleteman all that hates.....why are you guys so rude.....if u dont like it...why do u play it then or talk in the forums....?...make a better game urself...plz i will see how good job u can do on it......compare ETS2 with ets 1...and see the difence....grow up kids and take ur hate to another plaze ty
DeleteI don't hate the game.. I hate the politics of SCS... They are making useless paintjobs instead doing some useful thing.. I was waiting for the update about tyres physic, they hit me with wastefull paintpack lol
DeleteThey should serious take their work and stop making this all bullshit, and improve this simarcade kid
Deleteall games Companys needs to make moneys...trust me...scs needs to make paintjobs to get some money in....i bet u woudnt like it if they charged u to buy a dlc for like tandem trailers would u?.....the paintjobs isnt a game breaker at all.....yes i know most players play with mods and player made skins.....simarcede really?...simarcade is GTA 5 lol...gta 5 got the grafics and phy but....the driving feels the same in all the cars....now back to ETS2 have u evar played ETS 1?....i think SCS have done a super great job when it comes to the map and overall in the game...remmeber this a small company not all players in the world like sim games...there is a player limit when it comes to SIMS....respect them for what they do...paintjob or not ETS 2 is thest trucking game there is atm. if u want realality go get a truck lincense and go trucking irl....its a game after all.
Deletewhooa...we have....debate here....anyways u guys are true in some aspects BUT see i will give u simple example...if yr teacher tells u to do a job....and u take pains and money to do it..but ends in 50% mess ..yr boss is gonna fire ya...no matter how much you worked....the thing is at d end of the day its the result which speaks...not your hardwork [ i sound like an father..lol..] but yeah....we spent our money on d game so expect some thing..u guys i mean scs dont make maps expansions fine but atleast give us...a basic game thats real....
DeleteAnd talking about u XxROYALIZExX GTA5 is not a simulation and cannot be compared to ets ...i dont understimate the game..we compare bcoz scs can do better...best .....finance od the company is not our look out nor is that anybody cares is a big or small company.....and we talk in forums bocz we want a good game..that we still hope to get..thats our experience...
Did u play ets1 mr krupal43 Gandhi lover?
DeleteI don't think the argument is about SCS making money. The argument, is about what SCS is trying to make money from. If SCS is going to take the time to create something for the purpose of selling, then wouldn't it be more profitable for them to create something that is also worth buying?
DeleteAlot of people are not shy about explaining that they purchase these PaintJob DLC's so they can support SCS. And fair enough. But at some point people need to start wondering just how many more paintjob DLC's they need to buy before SCS finally has enough money to create something else.
ETS2 is over 3 years old now. So I think its a fair question. Is ETS2 going to progress beyond what it is today? Or is SCS going to continue offering trinkets to minipulate us into continued support of a game they have no intention of doing anything else with? I would like to know the answer to this question before I take any more money out of my pocket for this game.
To date, I think I got my money's worth. The game, as is, is great - for what I payed for it. But, the game, as is, isn't good enough for me to spend "more" money on it. I'll continue playing what I have, and consider it a fair deal.
There are many areas of the game where SCS can be spending more time on. For some reason however, SCS neglects these obvious areas... despite cries from their fanbase. At the end of the day, that their choice.
Our complaints isn't about "hating the game". As "Hye Xenforo" said... "I don't hate the game... I hate the Politics of SCS". IMO... that is a very well said statement. I agree 100%.
I will buy DLC: rigid truck, own trailer, double trailers, seasons, tandem trucks, new models of trucks and the older ones which are not longer in produce. Can I have it? Why I must buy something which I don't need to have?
DeleteThey explained why they keep doing paint jobs in the blog and it seemed fair to me why they continue to make them. They still have a dedicated team working on ETS2. They came out with Scandinavia 6 months ago. They are also a small gaming company, meaning things take longer.
DeleteYet, we have people saying the sky's falling? Guys, calm down! lol

DeleteThey do not do mas that stupids put to the sale dlc packaging of skins, some time ago you said that they were employed at the rigid truks, many updates happened and did not appear, spoke also about the tandem, they do not also appear, that are a small company in which they are like very much 20 persons, but please let's be serious realize the works that they have said and do not change topic with skins.
