Progress on a new cabin interior
We are working on many new things and improvements for Euro Truck Simulator 2, and one of the areas we focus on is building several all-new highly detailed cabins. Here is another glimpse on a work-in-progress asset.

ReplyDeleteI hope all the sensors and the buttons will work with the animation and display accurate and relevant information.

Good locations to transport from or to :
ReplyDeleteTrain/Bus stations, airports, depots, ports, houses, gas stations. And much more.
Stufs to transport : trams, other trucks, cars(i am very curious about the cars trailer), something oversized...

yes the designe is like the original one but i wiche that the camera will be able to switch in a few positions like rignroll
ReplyDeleteIndeed, it looks great but try to add something more that we could do in the cab like moving around, sleeping or working with the tachograph and anything else.

ReplyDeleteWill there be hands on the steering wheel? And, maybe, knees beneath it? It shouldn't be that hard, take a look at games such as Counter-Strike, for holding the weapon. There are a few random animations when nothing happens for a certain period. Here you could have them operate the light and wiper switches, retarder etc.

ohaha & anonymous: I must say seeing hands would be annoying for me - but of course, it's your opinion. ;-) All I want is those little things that made AA, PTTM and partly Haulin gameplay so funny. Even if we know that map will be very entertaining and full of unique models (I'm very, very glad for it), there must be always something other to do. I know, wishes like this were posted million times, so enough from me.

ReplyDeleteI'm really wondering about all of the little intricacies of the games inner workings, like economy, camera views, etc.
Waiting is becoming a chore!
It was good! Than last posting of this cabin was simple, was the only project, but is now well developed, I took a photo of the original with this and are very similar, the interior is very good now hope to see the outside!

Really nice cab, but don't make mistake from your pervious games where player was able to see interior only in 180 degree range.

Děkujeme také v tomto bodě, že vaše reaguje na společenství a s našimi požadavky v Euro Truck Simulator. Tyto obrazy mohou také vydávat multiplayer vás. Jedna otázka: Můžeme uzavřít žaluzie a záclony později v kamiony stejně. Dalo by se snad hodí funkce, které můžete klepnout myší na tyto oblasti se zavřít nebo otevřít?

ReplyDeleteBeing able to at least jump to the passenger side when standing still would make perfect sense, regarding interior cameras -- sometimes, as mentioned above, the driver do indeed need to check around, but not always having to get out of the truck (i.e., external camera). This would be neat, but also not absolutely needed.
ReplyDeleteAs for arms and such (i.e., a body on the seat) it would be nice too, at least for those using TrackIR since we can "peek behind the hand". If this feature would be included (low priority, I say, more flavour than anything) is probably should be a toggle, since some would not like it -- as also mentioned above. (c:

you should add trees between the main road and the curving road ! It would also remove monontonity from the game !
SCS guys, it's ABSOLUTELY a MUST when building a truck sim: THE WHORES IN THE REST AREA:-) Please add some pretty girls to make the game more realistic! And it would be cool if we can select the duration of the rest period - the longer the sleep, the more refreshed driver.
