:o .. SCS, I'm impressed how much details and work you've put into this cockpit!! The ETS1 cockpits were nice but this one is really epic. It's a true feast for the eyes!! I love the small selection-buttons on the steering wheel.
I see you've put in a tachograph .. I know in real the drivers hate it but it would be so cool you make it work in ETS2!!
Keep up the good work SCS .. This game is gonna rock the market I can see that!!! Can you show (if you have time) so more work of all different cockpits?!
Nice! Congrats to the 3D artists, as always! Thought: Would it be possible to have the title of the currently playing song (if any) scrolling on the radio LCD screen? This way the "driver" just "looks up" and knows what song he's listening to. Not to mention the possibility of crashing because he's not paying attention to the road, like in real life! :D How's that for realism? :) Also, traffic announcements would be a plus!
Can you please make that gear shifts, but as it should be, not stupid up and down or random? First of all this is a simulator and some might have something to learn or move the gas pedal, brake and clutch every time you need speed change?
SCS Software. You have approximately 100 new members from the Croatian and all were over 28 years ... not to brag, but here goes promotions slowly but surely, they hope to be a real simulator. dino.de.mantelli @ gmail.com

Hey SCS! Loving all the work on ETS2! Is there any chance of a rough release date? I mean like months not just Summer 2011 because I'm building a computer especially for this because I only have a laptop and want some graphics performance for games. Thanks SCS!
SCS thanks for developments they are very imprreesive. But we,lorry drivers want to see diffrent wheathers.Especially snowy roads... We are waiting ETS 2 in exciting
It's a blog... They post pictures of things and trucks which are NOT finished. That visor will come... Just like the mirrors and so on. The most of the people don't even read what SCS write in the blog. In early messages they made clear that visors and mirrors are sometimes not included. Maybe a tip for the people here: READ the text that is included with the pictures. Good work on the dash. You can be proud on what u guys built until now. Hat off.
^^ Thing is that those who don't read articles, don't read comments as well. It has absolutely no effect trying to tailor the discussions... but thanks God for every reasonable readers like Tom or TruckerGal and some other guys. ;-)
Yep, that´s true, Tom! Not everybody is reading what they write, they only look at the pictures..!
@SCS Software: Well done so far! I hope there will be not only this textured details but also more functions on it e.g. the buttons on the steering wheel or more than only 3 displays on the boardcomputer. "Evening-lights" would be awesome, too (I mean the small lights you can switch on at night in the real Actros). :)
Hello SCS, nice job with the interior ;) But you've put wrong model of tachograph - This is the old one! In brand new trucks (all since 2007) we have to use the new one!
The old one: http://otaf.mazury.info.pl/userfiles/image/tachograf_mtco_1324.jpg
Nice work, make sure you give all the trucks good engine sounds, inside and out. I don't even have to mention the physics, because I know you wonderful guys already took care of that. But the engine sound needs to be realistic. You can do it, if you already haven't.
I hope that there will be dynamic traffic in fuel stations and rest areas /lay by areas and not everytime an empty gas station or a static truck rest area will await. Also, it would be cool if cargo depots had some dynamic traffic inside the site such as moving vehicles, forklifts, and not only a static environment.

^Not a bad idea. And on-screen music player could be skinned as car radio - to give even more feeling that player is inside cabin. :-)
ReplyDeleteAnd as usual, nice work - so much details!
Nemám slov, pěkná práce.
ReplyDeleteIt also would be great if there will be some radio stations, as it was in GTA SA.
ReplyDeleteCan you please make that gear shifts, but as it should be, not stupid up and down or random? First of all this is a simulator and some might have something to learn or move the gas pedal, brake and clutch every time you need speed change?
