We are making good progress with a new truck model for Euro Truck Simulator 2, the exterior is almost done.
We are still talking to Renault Trucks, still optimistic about coming to positive conclusion in our brand licensing quest. If you look up the very first mention on this blog about us talking to them (and we actually started much earlier), you may get an idea of how much time and effort is being burnt on the licensing talks!
SCS MAKE THAT THE CARS CAN OVERTAKE IN SINGLE ROADS PLEASE!
ReplyDeleteYeah! Renault Premium! :E Very very nice. That's is beutiful. And one question - when we see finished interior in the game?
ReplyDeleteVery goooooooooooood thanks scs

ReplyDeleteVery very very nice job guys, also the intersection gives me a realistic feeling, very well done !
ReplyDeleteThumbs up for the people who made the models
Amazing images. You are doing an outstanding job SCS Software team.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the negotiations.
From an angle the renault hicab its overturn in the front... whatever they look great.
ReplyDeletePlease add optional spoilers (add or remove)
Nice prefab!
ReplyDeleteHow about other trucks ???
ReplyDeleteWhat trucks will be in the game ?
Nice, will there be 4x2 and 6x2 variants for all trucks ?
ReplyDeleteIf I was a truck producer and I wanted to enter with my truck in your game, I would ask you a statistic (how many players from online drive my brand). But that means that you should implement an online module for your game. That will be a outstanding hit! An online game with multiplayer... Forget the Non Player drivers!!! 90% of drivers will be real players, trailers randomized, or autogenerated at for every trucker that waits at a depot and so on. Of course what I just said raise many challenges but... It sounds to tempting... Who wants online module included near LAN multiplayer in ETS 2?
ReplyDeleteSo nice tractor... I'm sure people at Renault will be very satisfied and negotations will move fast! So good luck!
ReplyDeleteAlso that prefab looks great - and realistic. Made my day again. ;-)
OMG, i'm speechless.
ReplyDeleteI want online gameplay in ETS 2.
ReplyDeleteI hope and belive that it wil be,
because it is implanted inside T and T.
This information I've got from the translation of the game.
Sorry my english
I am sure that 99% of you here, want to play online with other drivers, real drivers not generated drivers by AI. The competition will be ... great. Everyone here wants to be hired (at first) by a player, to negociate the salary and stuff, to receive instruction on what trailers to deliver and so on, up to the moment when you become a manager who has his own business. Right? The game itself became not just a game with a mission to deliver a trailer from there to there without collision , but a game where you increase your reputation, get higher contracts, and others... A lot of stuff to implement on future games... A lot of project management :) So please SCS send me a mail about every game with trucks on futures :) Where is the newsletter?
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful !!!! SCS, you are best ;-)
ReplyDeleteGreetings from Slovakia
Wow nice !
ReplyDeleteLooking well, but what about tandems? We want them. If there are, it will be something completely different. Such a simulator has not yet been, and will not.
ReplyDeleteI greet from Czech.

ReplyDeleteSUPER model!

And please DAF 6x4.
Great tractor, great prefab!
ReplyDeleteGood Job scs !
ReplyDeletePlease, official rims ! and picture of Renault Magnum :D
Bye SCS
I cant wait !!!!
Wonderfuk truck. Reminds me of Iveco Stralis. I like the roads in the first picture. They are realistic and much better than before.
ReplyDeleteVery nice models with a lot of elements. Great Job SCS team!
ReplyDeleteWill be Renault Magnum too? I didn't saw this one.
Very beautiful ! Very good !
ReplyDeleteRenault Magnum s'il vous plait ;)
These pics are awesome. And please post some pics from Renault Premium inside. Next truck will be Renault Magnum?
ReplyDelete@Caminhoneiro
ReplyDeleteI don't know if you watched the video for T&T but you can see that the driver has the possibility of sticking his head out the window, to look directly at the side of the trailer (on driver side). This means the window is already open!! :D
Regarding this aspect, the only thing I might add is linked to the level of traffic and city environment noise, which seems a bit too high for a modern, sound-proofed truck cabin. If window will be made mobile, then the level of the sound will have to follow through.
Other than that, great work, guys! That is what I call beauty in design, and I am really amazed by the level of detail and, consequently, the amount of work and care put into these models.
Good job! Beautiful trucks...
When I saw the first time theese pictures I saw the Iveco Stralis but I was wrong. I want Iveco in the game :D
ReplyDeleteTHEESE PICTURES ARE AMAZING. LOOK AT THE ROADS, WHAT DETAILS. I AM IN LOVE
Make that the cars can overtake in single roads, and put the line white in all of roads PLEASE!
ReplyDeleteReally impressive work, SCS. Almost bad to come here and see what we still have to wait for, ha! Operative word being "almost" there. (c;
ReplyDeleteLooks fine. Thank you

Essential:
ReplyDelete- Try the cars can overtake TRUCKS IN THE SIMPLE ROAD
- SAVE OPTION POSITION OF INTERNAL CAMERA FOR BETTER FIT FOR EACH PLAYER.
- WHERE ARE THE MAP SHOWING OUR TRAFFIC TRUCKS.
- FUNCTIONAL DAMAGE OF OFFICIALS IN TRUCKS
- OPTION of uncertainty-RADIOS ONLINE
- STRONGER RAIN
Full of detail!! Great job hope to see this much details inside the cabins :) But those road markings are annoyance :( Only one or two should be looking enough and realistic. Also from what i see we will see sign-rich roads indicating every detail a sign should :) Loved the keep-right or whatever its called sign (blue with diagonal arrow right)
ReplyDeletevery nice job, does someone know when is relase date tihs very nice game ???
ReplyDeleteCan you make the cabin noise less please.
ReplyDeleteRenault Premium Lander excellent model, wait for the approval of renault good to enjoy their models and brand in the game, please make the model of Renault KERAX ....

I AGREE WITH YOU
@SCS:
ReplyDeleteI ask you to consider the implementation of the following aspects in ETS2:
- Bigger cities: (just double the size of the actual cities from the games that already exists;
- Windsheild: Make some action going on the windsheild, like bugs and something like that (IMPROVE THE RAIN IN THE WINDSHEILD).
For now i think that's it.
Keep up the excellent work!!
"- Windsheild: Make some action going on the windsheild, like bugs and something like that (IMPROVE THE RAIN IN THE WINDSHEILD)."
ReplyDeleteYES YES
that's so amazing! good job good job!!!!!!!
ReplyDelete@4:34
ReplyDeleteBigger cities? Have you not seen the earlier posted photos?
Well... here is 2 examples taken from the March thread with cities from Poland:
http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-KtOOqRrG7lU/TWAqrhn0zEI/AAAAAAAAAGQ/G3pjrHMYvjA/s1600/poznan.jpg
http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-4O6mwIeG18w/TWeAGf_4QtI/AAAAAAAAAGc/3VladaPq0_M/s1600/szczecin2.jpg
Quite an improvement from previous games, wouldn't you say?
One thing I'm interested to know is, with all these new upgrades and specially in the graphic department, what kind of CPU/GPU do you need to have for achieving a smooth gaming experience?
It would be to much of an irony if folk actually get their wishes thru, like: more realistic trucks and traffic, improved rain, etc etc... just to find out that to many has then a CPU that is not up to the challenge.
Well, the devs stated in the past that a dual core processor will be required for the smoothest gaming experience, and a more powerful graphics card with 512 MB VRAM would also come in handy. I am pretty sure that a 2,4 GHz dual-core processor and a low-intermediate graphics card like an ATi Radeon HD5550 is more than able to handle ETS2 on max resolution and detail.
ReplyDeleteAh, I for one have missed those pictures of the city, thanks for linking to them here.
ReplyDeleteQuite an improvement indeed! (c:
Very Great Job SCS!Keep up We are supporting you!
ReplyDeleteGreetings From Greece!!

Looks nice but 5th wheel is still too close to the cabin. You should move it backward a bit.
ReplyDeleteWhat about Renault Magnum?
ReplyDeletebelle images scs ...
ReplyDeletepourriez vous mettre le DAF XF95 380
Very good!!
ReplyDeleteI would ask for the narrow roads in the game or throwing hard with a truck or tandems :-)
Sorry for bad English :-)
Greetings from Czech Republic
Great job!
ReplyDeleteWhen the whole game will be released ?
Nice blog, your blog has good information about the automotive parts, we use Windsor's Massey Ferguson Tractor spare parts for our tractor and having great result.
