Wind turbines. Some people think they are going to protect us from global climate change, some people dislike the way they alter the look of the landscape. There is quite a wind farm just behind the Slovak border in Austria, and one must wonder which factor is more on the minds of inhabitants of Bratislava when they look out of their windows every day...
No matter what they are saying in real life. You got the simulated in the game in a nice way
ReplyDeleteI look forward to getting this game
ReplyDeletesorry for my english...
ou est la casquette et les feux de gabarie??
ReplyDeleteThese lights looks weird ;p like a plastic or from paper ;p
ReplyDeleteBut other things are great ;)
Greetings
Looks good scs very nice magnum
ReplyDeleteGood work.
ReplyDeletePlease, SCS, tell us what countries are in this game; i want to know if i'll buy the game or not.
ReplyDeleteLooks great! Hopefully there will be Salzburg in the game too...
ReplyDeleteAlthough it would be fun do discuss Austria's energetic politics, I believe it was not point of this article. (Still, I hope in game, we will see czech and slovak nuclear powerplants supplying Austria. :-D )
ReplyDeleteIt was told many times, but I must repeat that I'm so glad you putting lots of realia into gaming world. Thanks very much!
Unfortunately we see some people complaining about the actual look of sky, clouds and even lights. To these people i ask: do you mean the meaning of "work in progress"?
ReplyDeleteBest regards from Brazil!
Correction of the last post: "do you KNOW the meaning of "work in progress"?
ReplyDeleteThat's it :)
Best regards from Brazil!
The map is looking very good...but what will the physics be like ? Is driving an ETS2 truck going to be like driving an ETS, GTS, UKTS and (and from video footage) T&T truck ? As they are completly undrivable making the game unplayable due to them being more like a ferrari than a trucks. ET2 physics are not perfect, but are miles better..will you be using them ? or will there be an improvement on them, or are we to have Ferrari speed truck yet again ? I bet I do not get a reply.
ReplyDeleteI wonder how many more times you can out-do yourselves with every post!
ReplyDeleteAwesome image. Looking forward to the release very much.
ReplyDeletetrop beau le magnum
ReplyDeleteAmazing!
ReplyDeletegood work you doing good game. So much new countries bigger map inprovement phisics, new trucks for me enough to funny play. It will be good if you have enough money for this new improvements. damn it will be good game. SCS never surrender
ReplyDelete1. Good work - like everything from you scs!
ReplyDelete2. I like to start a little discussion about license plates. On this picture I see the czecj republic license plate with the european stars.
I hope that every country in ETS2 will have own registration and the driver (player) can choose his own plate who he like. Think about it and I hope you can give a little answer scs ;)
<>
That wind turbines dont protect the medium because it takes a lot of machines to instal them :))
ReplyDeleteI hope for optional spoilers (from cab and tanks) -remove or add them.
I LOVE THE GAME.
Renault is a masterpiece of art ....
ReplyDeleteSCS I have a serious question, will there be an editor again in ETS2 and will it be as userfriendly as the one in ETS ?
ReplyDeleteAlso can you make some kind of sign editor ?
Wuld be nice to make that and make new signs (or just reskin application) so we can make signs for 1 country only for example.
Will there be big junctions like : http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_brlZieObtrY/TGqv8sxzMDI/AAAAAAAABjU/RSk8dm-cORk/s1600/Gravelly+Hill+Interchange.jpg
When entering a city and when u drive onto the ringway usually you pass tons of bridges and junctions, will you make it too ? (maybe not this realistic and exessive but maybe in some limited way ?)
I would love to have an aswer.
Thx

Well done scs, very nice u make realistic things again...
Btw the renault model looks fucking awesome, beautiful truck u made up there !!
ReplyDeleteGz for it
B E A U T I F U L Thanks You SCS !! God Job !
ReplyDeleteThe truck is really beautiful. I like Renault design, at least for trucks.
ReplyDeleteJust a suggestion, since some complain about truck lights - you can make the headlight in two parts: the glass in front, as part of the outside shape, but highly transparent, and the inner headlight, shaped according to the components, on which you can lay the actual texture. This way, they would look more realistic, especially when viewed from a certain angle.
Well, I find these wind-turbines very graceful and quite relaxing to watch! And, Dexter, let's be honest, the polution from those machines that install them is insignificant when compared to that spewed by a thermo-electrical plant to produce the same amount of power such a turbine puts out in a day. And, when thinking these wind turbines run for several years and maintenance polution is neglectable, the end result is clean, renewable energy.
Speaking of powering Austria, in future releases of ETS, maybe you'll put Romania, too, since they've taken all our oil resources for 2 bits. :P
Another thing
ReplyDeleteThat license plate, showing a bunch of zeros... could that mean customizability???
I only wish...
Booaaaa it is beautiful omg i have never seen that before
ReplyDeletethanks from Turkey
SCS why wount you do single roads in cities ? I mean there is some but for example roads where u can go only in one direction

Hmm, I expected more. SCS, where is the visor from the windshield? On your previous screens on Facebook the Magnum had the visor! Where is the visor now? Is it an optional part?

ReplyDeleteI'm here to say this truck looks fucking awesome. I am definitely going to buy ETS2, as well T&T to support the funds for SCS Software!
ReplyDeleteSCS Software probably is one of best company that actually listening their consumers through Facebook, Twitter, and blogspot. Amazing.
