Cruising Texas Event

We invite you to join us on Tuesday, the 15th of November, as we celebrate the release of our new Texas DLC, by taking part in our World Of Trucks event - Cruising Texas! Traveling through the diverse landscape of the Lone Star state, you will pass by swamps and woods, plains and hills, desert and mountains, while discovering Texas' rich economy.

We are asking our #BestCommunityEver to achieve the community goal of driving 125,000,000 miles (201,168,000 km) while delivering cargoes to or from any city in Texas.

They say everything is bigger in Texas and sure enough, due to its size and geologic features, Texas will offer you diverse stretching landscapes like never before. The state also boasts many of America’s biggest and fastest-growing cities, from the expansive metropolis of the Dallas-Fort Worth region to the alluring urban landscape of the Houston area. While you are #CruisingTexas, also nicknamed the Lone Star State, you'll be introduced to the major historic industries that helped shape Texas such as cotton, timber and oil. Besides these, Texas further came to dominate the cattle industry which created the traditional image of the Texas ranches and cowboys. Other important economy components that you will encounter are the glass plants and wind power industry.

During your travels through Texas, you can look forward to many spectacular views of the second biggest state of America, such as the following, to name but a few:

  • Corpus Christi, beautiful coastal city in South Texas
  • El Capitan, 10th highest peak in Texas and part of the Guadalupe Mountains
  • El Paso, the "Sun City" in West Texas with a range of cultural and historical sites
  • Space rocket facility, space rocket launch site near Brownsville

As with past cruising events, you can use your own trailer and experience all this in the external market!

Texas DLC offers 29 amazing new cities to explore, and we’ve a special reward for completing your personal goal, which will require you to deliver a job to or from at least 15 of them. All jobs for the event need to be 100 miles each (161 km) or more.

Get ready for the biggest DLC to American Truck Simulator and set out on a trip over high mountains and deep river ravines, while discovering a wide variety of farms, ranches and industries. Buckle up for an adventurous ride through the amazing Lone Star state of Texas!

You can check if your recent deliveries met these conditions using your Log Book in your World of Trucks profile.
