  8. Dear SCS software
Please re-work old textures of asphalt and lane-markings. At least, add bump-mapping to them.

And the bridge is just astonishing

    ReplyDelete
  9. I have no idea where this is but it is really astonishing. I like the graphics, really looks breathtaking! I am worried by system requirements tho. But I hope it will not be higher than T&T!

    Keep up the great work!!

  14. Oh my, eye candy! Where did I put my eye-brush, fell the risk of enlarged eye-cavities here! .c8

    Lovely, SCS.

To me the road looks fine, there is a gentle bump-map to it and the textures vary quite a bit. I like that too.

  15. It looks great.
I think this is the Humber bridge near Hull.

    ReplyDelete
  16. The Queen Mary 2 behinds looks pretty cool !

    ReplyDelete
  17. looks like Istanbul Bosphorus
    SCS please contact Türkiye

  18. Devs, you never cease to amaze me. Beautiful work.

However, I hope that the bridge will be more than just a nice scenery on the level - I remember how cool the Rheinbrücke of Köln looked in the German Truck Simulator trailers, so I was greatly disappointed when it turned out that it is not actually drivable (but closed with the invisible walls).

    ReplyDelete
  19. Great Britain? Looks really like Hull.
But on the T-intersetion (third picture) the markings (Arrows,..) are on the right. I thought in Britain they drive on the left side?!

    ReplyDelete
  20. If the graphics are the same as the T&T will be crap!!!...shame!!!

  28. SCS please make the game compatable with at DX10.1 or lower, because the majority of imtermediate gamers have not progressed onto DX11 cards. And also, could you make the game utlize multiple cores, because I highly doubt anyone is still using a single core lol. Anyway, good job.

    ReplyDelete
  29. That bridge is so beautiful.
    Nice work, SCS.
Don't forget to add Baltic States in the map. (whole Europe would be awesome)
Btw, can you, SCS, post here road map of ETS2.
    Greetings from Lithuania ;)

  30. SCS CHANGE THE FUCKING SKY !!! IT'S VERY UNREALISTIC !

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  32. don't forgate the game theme ; Truck Simulator.

    ReplyDelete
  33. if the graphics performance is same as T & T then I do not buy a ETS2.
    I am annoyed about spending the 10 Eur for T & T.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Wow, that's some great stuff! O.O :)

The bridge is absolutely amazing! :) It really looks gorgeous!

And I'm fine with the textures of the road/road-markings! I can't see anything bad about them! :)

And besides showing this really good-looking bridge (can't wait to drive on it! :D) the photos themselves look really great. I mean, in a photographic way! I especially like the the 3. and the last two pictures! The are astonishing! O.O :)

    ReplyDelete
  35. Simply awesome, can´t wait to play the game

    ReplyDelete

    Turkey(Istanbul)?

    ReplyDelete
  38. Oh, I forgot to mention:
The junction you can see in the 3. picture looks nice! I hope we will see more different kinds of junctions in ETS2! :)

    ReplyDelete
  39. Yeah, pics are cool. But hey SCS, you ever thought about reselling your old though pretty damn good games like 18 Wheels of Steel: American Long Haul? It's great game! Just bring some modern effects, improve graphics, textures, sound a little, add mouse control, here we are - we got new game with a huge world and coolest trucks, you got money to work with ETS2.
No happen? I'm stupid? Ok, but it's fun isn't it!.

    ReplyDelete
  40. England Humber Bridge....

    please scs team Turkey (Istanbul)

    ReplyDelete
  41. SCS beautiful pictures!

The work looks very good, but we want to know about the licenses for trucks and progress in physics, and system of damages a little more real! We want the truck has a behavior similar to that are in real life.

The quality of game is amazing.

    Keep it up!

  46. This bridge isn't in the UK.. Just look at the 3rd picture, you can see there that the road signs are for the right side of the road, not for the left side as it's in UK.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Everything looks amazing specially the sky and wheather! Can't wait for the release, I'm sure the drivers will have great sights in their travel. But hey SCS, what about a post for something like trucks and gameplay improvements, for us to see how much is it going to be realist? We are sseing images of map for so long! Thank you and keep going with the awesome work!

    ReplyDelete
  48. Wow...brilliant work. Good job, guys!

    ReplyDelete
  49. One Question for SCS Team:

    ReplyDelete
  58. If this game is also going to be distributed digitally, will it appear on Steam too ?
I simply ask because it's my preferred platform to buy games online.

An answer on this would be appreciated, but as the prequels are not listed in Steam I guess ETS2 will not.

    Thanks.

  63. Texture trees spoil the entire game, the game seems to only allow alpha textures and all look bad!

    Too bad!

    ReplyDelete
  64. I think this right hand traffic has to be a mistake...
the bridge looks in all things and surroundings like the Humber Bridge in England...

    ReplyDelete
  65. Look great all the details. Fantastic work
Just one thing what wrong with THE SKY Looks like been brushed with ink Please Do not launch the game without fixing that sky

    ReplyDelete
  66. It IS the Humber Bridge, people. I guess the pictures were taken from a build where left-hand driving was not yet implemented into the UK areas. No worries, it's a small oversight, I'm pretty sure it will be fixed (after all, SCS will use an updated UK Truck Simulator map for ETS2 as far as I know - and there WAS left-hand driving there). :)

    ReplyDelete
  67. is this the humber bridge

    ReplyDelete
  68. You guys did amazing job. I cant wait for game to come....

    ReplyDelete
  69. Turkey? lol

  75. It is the Humber Bridge. Check those stone blocks, on each side of the entry.
    For Google earth:
    53°41'50.76"N
    0°26'58.96"V

Nice replica, quite accurate! Good job! Can't wait to drive over!

  76. If it is the Humber bridge :

it should be electric iluminated. But still we love your job SCS

  77. Hi, why is Romania not included in the European map?We do have some cool roads which, i believe can make a difference in the game. The Transfagarasan Highway for example.

    ReplyDelete
  78. hi scs
i and much other people said the camera von german truck simulator is better than by trucks and trailer we hope the camera came in ets2 is so than by gts the mirror by trucks and trailer is very good the perfect camera is :
    so http://www.pic-upload.de/view-10781898/gts_00003.png.html
    http://www.pic-upload.de/view-10781917/gts_00005.png.html

    ReplyDelete
  79. In Romania, on the Transfagarasan Highway the access of the trucks is forbidden.

    ReplyDelete
  80. super pictures!release date in September ,and I'm sure of it.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Please also put competition from companies in the game, like managing transportation company against other companies created by the same computer that had the competition in the game 18 wheels of steel across america.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Fantastic images. Keep up the splendid work SCS Software team.

    ReplyDelete
  83. that is brilliant i go down that road every day and it looks perfect, good job scs great work and cant wait for release

    ReplyDelete
  84. I like to see more about ets2 :)

very hungry for this brilliant images (hope you show map and motorways next time)

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  88. GAMEPLAY!!! GEMEPLAY!!! GAMEPLAY!!!

the 3d objects is cool but that's not the game :)

    ReplyDelete
  89. please give us a look into map scs.

that´s right, forest vegetation in poland, mountains in south europe, motorways, parking places and more... -> a new video please with gameplay!

    ReplyDelete
  90. hmmm... when this come out? :D thats look's AWESOME! :)i hope so that ETS2 have scandivanians too... :)

    ReplyDelete
  91. To me that looks exactly like the Humber bridge in UK not far from me. The last screenshot looks like the A63 (Clive Sullivan Way) heading out of Hull towards the Bridge. The landscape looks like the north and south bank. If it is then hopefully we will catching ferries at hull to Rotterdam and Zeebrugge and also going across the bridge to Immingham and Grimsby docks, now that would be realisem...don't forget Liverpool docks as well.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Great job on the scenery and the bridge, very realistic. PLEASE make the bridge DRIVEABLE, unlike one you showed in the German Truck Simulator trailer. If you are going to show any bridges in trailers, or even scenery, please make sure it is driveable. That was a big dissapointment.

Anyway, this bridge looks wonderful from a distance, and up close. It sure is a great model. Please make more of these.

And if you don't mind, can you put together a video of all the new stuff you guys have implemented into the game please. I'm sure all of us would like to see it. I would prefer a video five minutes or longer.

    ReplyDelete
  93. he is right...give to us some video!)

  95. Another view that confirms it's the Humber Bridge, and in the UK we have always driven on the left, never the right.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Hi ... im a huge fan of your games and have put in around 300 hours on UK truck simulator and about 200 on the old 18 wheels of steel (that's a lot for me)
Im really looking forward to this ETS2 release.

In regards to steering wheel support will there be better optimization settings for high end wheels like the Logitech g25, gt and g27. They were ok in the previous games but i could never make them perfect if you know what i mean. I hate playing with a pad and would realy like to see some more realistic feedback and sensitivity when using my GT wheel. Also will the game support full wheel rotation?

Thanks for your time and i have no doubt that this game will be an enormous success as i have enjoyed all of your previous games :D

Good luck and plzzzz don't rush ... i would rather see a brilliant game late than an unfinished game early haha, unfortunatly most producers nowadays find it easier to release games unfinished lol. But i have high hopes for a dedicated team like yourselves :D

    Regards,

    Josh

    ReplyDelete
  99. Oh, yes, support for Logitech Driving Force GT, please. While previous games do support it to some extent (the wheel works, as do the pedals) it cannot properly handle all the buttons -- it reports incorrect buttons (compare to the device in Windows control panel -- if need be I can send more info). To bypass this I set buttons to keyboard keys instead, that worked. Please add full support for this wheel too. (c:

    For those not into Swedish:
"Ferries is all but a must. Tunnels and bridges where such should not exist, no thanks... In addition, ferries opens so many possibilities for mods!"

  110. SCS the game looks fantastic and is a credit to all your hard work. I just hope you improve the control characteristics and increase the amount of traffic in the game especially in town/cities. Would be nice to have heavy traffic during rush hour. :)
