We have invited Martijn and Nico from the ProMods team to our office a while ago, as we felt we should recognize their work and congratulate them in person to what they have achieved with their incredible mod. Their dedication to expanding the world of Euro Truck Simulator 2 is incredible! We are happy to share a photo with you today as a proof that they did make it over to Prague finally :)

DeleteThe TSM Map sucks. Even its GTS pendant, the MErlinita Map, was overengineered and wayyyyy to much for the game.
DeleteTSM dont got all the details and work into the map as promods do. TSM is good if you want more roads, but not much more than that.
DeleteTSM is quantity over quality. Promods however is pure quality and definately DLC worthy content. The difference between SCS and them is hard to spot.

ReplyDeleteAgreed. Talent for creating new and exciting things should be recognized. Anyone can copy/paste, but it takes real artistry to not only develop entirely new models and artwork, but also a fully-modular sign system.

DeleteIt is a great pleasure to meet them. Both Promods as TSM are two great teams that make spectacular maps. Just need to upgrade Promods because this multi Bugs, perhaps 1.63 or 1.70. Please SCS, when making a new patch or some other update, for example 1:10:50 ... let the mods with no errors, it updates the ETS2 and buga all mods that do adinata mods.

MODS for better lights, for better sounds, for another textures.... MODS for pedestrians, mods that change the rate of traffic, MODS that change the sunset and night textures... MODS for more rain, MODS for more DOF...
what about MODS for another game ? maybe better, if not made by SCS :)) (kiddin) truely, I prffer not to trust what one and another deliver. I trust just SCS.

ReplyDeleteWhat about ETS2 multiplayer team, by far they have achieved a hell of a lot more than these 2, all they did was make a map, using tools from the game, the mp team built a multiplayer addition from scratch
ReplyDeleteYou got it wrong. Have you ever tried Promod maps? They excelled the regular game. Mp is not official. Promod could be official. What else did the mp team do? They didn't improve any normal driving. I believe that the Promod team has a bigger future. Think of future games. ATS is a good example. Promod could help SCS a lot more than the mp guys if they want assistance. Dig a little deeper with your thoughts,
DeletePavel, do upgrades inside the cabin of the truck. Various accessories. These paints are already in the madness filled all, the color is not the most important thing in picking his truck. Make the right choice on upgrades.

@ LV-JMP just drove up from flensburg to oslo and k'haven and my first impressions: in this map i get this real autobahn feeling i missed in any of the other maps it's great so far now i consider to use my main profile for it and not only a testing prfl.

Yeah, because SCS is so greedy like EA. They didn't have the time to create all of Europe in good quality so they release DLC's.

DeleteGuys, some ae cries a full belly tells a Brazilian saying . And will have more whiners on duty for sure , I think the trust these guys who are in the SCS , I think it is dream of every modeler . How modeler talent are out there , I've seen incredible things done for simulators , not only the SCS as others I 've attended a Spanish team to make simulators along with Argentine Formula 1 simulator . How many modelers dream of being part of a team and few have the opportunity , knowing the studio of a renowned producer with the SCS is not for every one , of course everyone should have recognition for personal work , but it's not post that you just criticize the love of God , you know, do a favor , the mods are there for those who want to choose if p Promods is good if TSM is good , some guys who did the map of Hungary is excellent too .
ReplyDeleteNow not to say that the call by the creators of Promods , which is the best map in any way , everyone has the right to choose , I've had the TSM and is great mod . I Promods today and is very good , but several Bugs ... A better day ... well ... the only problem all the same . I want all updates from now on no errors in mods . because when a new patch leaves some mod has to delete , and it's a shame ... why Tuning I have are for the latest version update and when they do , fuck everything.

Great work fellas, hope there is more to come. I have seen a mod on one of the sites, that includes all of the rest of France, Spain and Portugal, Italy, Armenia, Greece some Mediterranean islands, and North Africa including Libya, Egypt and others. I have not bothered to download it, as it is not by Pro Mods or SCS. I like the photos of it, but one major drawback is that it will not integrate into a current profile, you need to open a new one. I would rather wait for anything new from Pro Mods and SCS. Keep up the good work.

DeleteSo Nico, when are we getting a detailed The Netherlands map? Google Maps should help give an idea what even the smallest roads and their surroundings look like in our small country.
Love the 1-on-1 feel of the Hungary map for example, even though it's still in complete. It just has a completely different and unique atmosphere and really reminded me of my many holidays there. So having those same aspects on other maps would be great.
I have tested all maps available all over the net.There is only one map which doesnt cause not a single line of error or warning and it has all the prefabs converted and adapted to the newest version of game.And that is: MHA map by MsHeavy Alex.You should invite people like him,because they dont publish their work until perfection.

I personally know Alex and he could be Nicos menthor at anytime.I could tell you that Alex warning Nico more then one time not to release unpolished map. And that my friend is a FUNNY FACT!

Well I am Nico and he never really warned me.
DeleteHe has most of the time the same problem we do: FLD prefabs which don't want to work perfectly.
In the end his work is great, true. With ProMods we have 5-10 people working at the same time, often something goes wrong. And the modification works, maybe with a couple of errors but they are not game breaking. Only the ai is getting alot more unstable since ETS2 version 1.9.x.
And btw Im not his mentor. I'm an old friend of his who helped him a couple of times and he helped me a couple of times. That is the fact, if it's funny I don't know....

If American truck simulator the game is DLC for ETS2 i will buy her ... But if it's another icon on my desktop then NO.. I would just like to drive in my truck in the ferry/ship.... like when I go to the UK...I do not know if the American TS i dont know is it a same software or something different....I'd just like you to know that!
ReplyDeleteI added a dozen friends lately who play ETS2...purely informative, their computers/PC are in the range mostly dual core 2.1 to 3.0.. 2 or 4 GB of RAM and from 512MB to 1 GB graphic card ....
And I among them have low spec computer .....I'm trying to imagine how the game looks with all the specifications set ULTRA HIGH or EXTRA...you know what I mean :)

ReplyDeleteDid you tell boys when we get proper Scandinavian 60t+ trucks in game? For a real think about it. You can add as many map expansions but for gamers who have driven for several hundred hours in this game, they will need some new spice on they roads.
