Thanks to everyone who suggested interesting ideas for container-derived types of cargo for the gooseneck trailer!

ReplyDeletejust an idea but it would be realy nice to have ridged trucks in the game to with cargos to go with it I.E a ridged box truck that can be driven to a loding dock and you pick up a load of toys for instence so there would be NO trailer as the load would be inside the truck and you drive it to where it needs to go ;)

By the way, textures are awesome! They seem to be more than 1024x1024. Nice job!
You should put a mudflap in the back of the trailer. It would make it more realistic. Please don't forget to change the highway prefabs, as I said in my other posts, you need an acceleration lane before entering the highway.

Another interesting thing would be more models of trucks that will be used in the game, beyond the rigid trucks and tandem trucks.

ReplyDeleteThe trailer looks great so far. Are we gonna have overweight loads like there were in 18 WOS Haulin?
ReplyDeleteIf you do create overweight loads can you please make them where driving is a little different then regular loads. What I mean by that can you make the truck handle differently. Just make the starting a little slower, make the truck travel a little slower in general because its hauling a heavier load. I think this would make the game more interesting and more interactive.

verry nice SCS, but those new trailers are not the main things to make a realistic simulator, we can always download it in the form of a mod.

Again once me in this thread, i saw that someone wrote here about lift able axles .. so please guys, surely this can be cool, but u should think about that if lift able axles so in game needs to be another system of loading etc because how do you want drive with loaded trailer and lifted axle? xD It´s not possible a bit.. so DEVELOPERS.. my request: Try to make in cargo definitions line, where will be written how heavy cargo is, because for example if cargo will be 5 tons so is possible have axle lifted.. and after it will be everyone´s choice if trailer attached to tractor will be with axles on ground or not.. because everyone will be able to rewrite by his own in cargo definitions.. and surely is possible to make it that? .. What do you think my player-partners? xD ..

Looks ok, yet there is still something wrong with the place of the wheels from the trailers. They need to be more to the back and the trailer needs to be lowered a bit. Now the backside looks like the old trailers, way too high and wron axe point for the tires.

will there be multi drops with fridge trailers like that ? and will there be a weight bridge for you to go over and if your over weight you will have a fine and have to take some of your load off. apart from all that your doing a great job scs !!

Trailer is great...Can you add cargoes like fruit,food etc...And maybe you can add setting temperature to the trailer,so if you set wrong temperature cargo will be damaged...
