One more dashboard under construction

This one is a little less finished, but progressing well...

We find it very useful to present early work to the community, your feedback on imperfections is definitely going to help us build a better game than if we were doing it all behind locked doors.

  1. This is in early stage of development and I can't tell much of it. Do you consider the possibility of having adjustable mirrors?
I'm not gonna ask you again about the hands on the steering wheel! ;)

  5. Add a landline phone and CB-Radio as a means of communication.
It would be nice to manage all the buttons with your mouse.

  11. Great work SCS.I like the interior both of Mercedes and Renault. And I think that working with community is right move. Also,I have some ideas that I think would improve ETS2.For example, older trucks.I think that all players would love to see Actros Mp1,Scania 124L,Man F2000.Also,because I`m from Balkan,I would love to see Balkan countries.I know that all of these take a lot of time, but I`m sure that everybody would wait 2-3 months to see Actros Mp1 or to see his country.
    Continue great work SCS.
    Regards

Look at this pic Nick posted:

The speedometer is curved, the speedometer needle also follows that curve, you haven't left any space for those three icons above the speedometer ( (i) ; (stop) ; (!) )

When you post some more pics of the details about the instrument panel, I will see, maybe I haven't seen good. ;-)

    Keep up the good work!

  21. Guys don't listen to that Ovidiu prick. He's just a frustrated motherfucker who comes here only to promote RnR. Not all Romanians are like that, so please add Romania.

  22. YOU SHOULD THAT THE CARS CAN OVERTAKE IN SINGLE ROADS!

  23. What would be good is if you have to wait for your trailer to be loaded/unloaded. And during the loading/unloading times you feel the cab wobble and hear the people/forklift moving inside the trailer.

    ReplyDelete
  24. i'd add some more polys to that cup holder, it's quality doesn't match the rest of the cabin.

  25. Europe’s toughest uphill gradients

The Volvo FH16 climbs with efficient engine power and engine braking using VEB+. Even so, a truly steep gradient can be a tough challenge for both the truck and its driver. But which hills are the most demanding in Europe? Inside Lane lists the climbs that truck drivers are talking about.
    Austurleid, Iceland

Being a volcanic island, Iceland is virtually one single long gradient. Even just outside the capital city of Reykjavik there are hills with 16 percent gradients. But nothing in these latitudes beats Austurleid in eastern Iceland. The road here winds its way up to the gigantic Karahnjukar Dam, where a power station is currently being constructed. The extremely heavily laden trucks have to climb from 36 metres above sea level to 560 metres over a distance of seven kilometres, on a road that twists and turns and has the added challenge of snow and ice in the winter.
    Somosierra, Spain

If you enter Spain from the west on Trans-European motorway 5 between Bordeaux and Madrid, you just can’t avoid it: the climb over the Somosierra Pass north of Madrid. Along the route there are a number of extremely tough gradients that all demand the utmost of driver and engine alike. The climb begins at sea level and doesn’t finish until it tops out at 825 metres. After which it’s a matter of getting safely down on the other side.
    Årdalstangen, Norway

At the end of the Sogne Fjord on the Norwegian west coast is the town of Årdalstangen. Getting from there to the heights of Hardangervidda takes a powerful engine. From sea level to 700 metres higher in just 10 kilometres. This is a stretch of road 53 with a gradient of 10 degrees, and several icy 180-degree switchbacks. Even worse, the route often has to be driven in the pitch-black darkness of Scandinavian winter.
    Werratal, Germany

The Kassel hills in central Germany feature uphill gradients that many European truck drivers have come to know the hard way. Here, on Trans-European motorway 45 in the very heart of Europe are routes that can drain the last dregs of energy from even the most powerful engines. The worst of them all is the long, demanding pass through the beautiful Werratal, where on one particular hill you can often see long lines of trucks more or less at a standstill.
    Brenner Pass, Austria

One of Central Europe’s most important transport routes Ð 1.8 million trucks passed through here in 2004 Ð is also one of the steepest. From the north the climb starts at Innsbruck in Austria. 20 kilometres further on Trans-European motorway 45 brings you to the Italian town of Vipiteno Ð but not without having first strained your truck to its very limits. The route is immensely demanding Ð both uphill and down. On the Austrian side there are run-off ramps for those vehicles that cannot come to a stop the conventional way Ð using their own brakes.
    Aosta Valley, Italy

If you want to drive west from Turin in Italy up towards the Aosta Valley and then on into France’s glittering Alps, you have to be prepared to climb Ð and seriously at that. This route, Europe route 25, combines severe gradients with hairpin bends that are so sharp that all the speed gained by the truck more or less vanishes. On some stretches, the gradient is well above 12%.■ Pls scs put this roads on the ETS 2

  34. Alight, would the people who keep posting about pedestrians please shut up! I think SCS gets it now, because you have posted it thousands of times. What you really should post is No More X's blocking roads.

Anyway, great work, I'm glad to see you are making amazing progress. You said "One more dashboard under construction". Does that mean that you guys are done with all the interiors and can now work on something else. what about the exteriors? Are you done with those?

    PLEASE REPLY
