Cruising Nordic Horizons Event

Join us on Thursday, the 27th of November, to celebrate the launch of our new Nordic Horizons DLC by taking part in our World of Trucks event - Cruising Nordic Horizons! Embark on a journey across Scandinavia’s Arctic frontier, where dramatic fjords, and winding rivers shape a land of raw beauty.

We challenge our #BestCommunityEver to achieve a collective goal of driving 300,000,000 km (186,411,358 miles) while delivering cargo to or from any city in the Nordic Horizons DLC.

Explore rugged coastlines, winding rural roads, and lively northern towns while #CruisingNordicHorizons. From sunlit summer nights to landscapes steeped in history and tradition, this region offers truckers unforgettable routes and breathtaking vistas, while on the job.

The north of Scandinavia has evolved from its traditional fishing and farming roots into a region of growing economic importance, supported by its strategic location and modern infrastructure. Its economies thrive on diverse industries, from renewable energy and mining to shipping, tourism, and local crafts. Truckers play a vital role in connecting remote communities and sustaining the region’s economic growth.

As you travel through the far north of Scandinavia, you can look forward to some spectacular highlights of the region, including:

  • Tromsø, known as the “Gateway to the Arctic,” with its lively culture and northern lights views
  • The Lofoten Islands, offering dramatic coastlines, fishing villages, and stunning scenery
  • Rovaniemi, the capital of Finnish Lapland and the official home of Santa Claus
  • Nordkapp, where you can stand at the edge of Europe beneath the midnight sun

As always, you can explore all these and more during the event using your own trailer with the external market!

Take on the adventurous challenge to tour and visit the 41 beautiful cities on offer. Complete at least 1 delivery to or from 6 unique cities in each of the 3 countries in Nordic Horizons to achieve your personal event goal and earn yourself a uniquely crafted reward.

Get ready for the latest addition to Euro Truck Simulator 2 and come #CruisingNordicHorizons to experience the majesty and myth of Northern Scandinavia in a truly unforgettable experience.
