A couple of new pictures from Euro Truck Simulator 2. This is from a place where a local road is about to connect to the highway.
As we are trying to portray a sizable part of Europe, of course the backbone of the road system in the game must be the major highways. However, we are also trying to spice up the game with a sampling of local two-lane roads to give the player a taste of both.
Great!! Show images of portugal plz ;)
ReplyDeleteThis is what we wanna see SCS, amazing you make some realistic pieces and signs too...
ReplyDeleteShow us more of this kind of pictures, really nice work !
Looking better by the day!
ReplyDeleteit is amazing to see this one. it is very natural and beatiful.one suggestion from me plz put more single roads and all the best.take care of engine sounds.i like scs. scs rockzzzzzz
ReplyDeleteI see, that the barrier on the toll station is on the wrong side. It should be behind the cashier house, because first you have to pay (or take a ticket) and then you can drive through the open barrier. If you don't pay, you won't pass the toll station...
ReplyDeleteReally nice. It gives the feeling of driving in different countries. It could be nice if the waether changes from country to country, suoth, warm and sunny, north rainy and grey and maybe snow in the scandinavia if you plan to make those countries.
ReplyDeleteEXCELLENT! I LOVE SINGLE ROADS, THE TOLL IS REALY NICE. GREETINGS FROM ARGENTINA
ReplyDeleteRelease date?
ReplyDeleteMake that the cars can overtake in single roads PLEASE!
ReplyDeleteMany players like single roads, so please Make Single roads so many as you can make :D:D
ReplyDeleteExcellent scs amazing work and will be an excellent game to play, me and alot of other people will be buying this game for sure, glad to see that everyone is agreeing and praising your work rarther than slagging it off. Once again excellent
ReplyDeleteEXCELLENT
ReplyDeleteyes..but when the game will be ready?
ReplyDeletewe want to see more pictures of the interior of actros and if it can release date of the game
ReplyDeleteI like the way you are creating ETS2. No more uniform, general solutions over the whole map. This is great example: french toll booths are totally different from polish toll booths that we saw before. This is exactly what I want from Euro Truck Simulator! :-)
ReplyDeleteYO,
ReplyDeleteawesome tolls, i hope that the highway will cost some money too xD.
Grtz Michael K.
And in the Czech Republic will Premid? Show more Czech Republic
ReplyDeleteIt's very nice!
ReplyDeleteWhat about with the development of Ai traffic?
When will be this new news?
There will be Ai buses?
Grtz!
Nice job, but please give us more details about the countries that will be in ETS2.
ReplyDeleteGreat Job SCS..keep up the good work..
ReplyDeleteThis is very nice!!
ReplyDeletegood job! thumbs up!
ReplyDeleteAre Balkan countries going to be included in the game?
ReplyDeleteSCS Team!
ReplyDeleteWill you add shifter with Clutch?
If yes please make the gears for numbers like 1 is num 1, 2 num 2 And high gears-low gears
can we also buy a toll box so that you can drive through
ReplyDeleteAmazing!!!Even lanes ticket! Compliments. I hope that in Italy there are "Telepass" lanes
ReplyDeletegood =)
ReplyDeleteVery good SCS!Please ADD GREECE
ReplyDeletePlease SCS show some parts of germany :-)
ReplyDeleteWould be nice to drive on Romania's two lane roads.
ReplyDeletei am just glad too se it .
ReplyDeletei like it all. you´r rock scs .keep up the good job .
Wonderful screenshots.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the amazing work SCS Software team.
Superb work is the same as in France!!Good works!
ReplyDeleteWow, the second picture is breathtaking! :-)
ReplyDeleteAlso SCS, there are these types of road also: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/84/B_54_bei_Steinfurt.jpg
And read this page on wikipedia, because these roads are used too in many EU cities! ;-)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2%2B1_road
Keep the screens coming...! ;-)
Se7en
Impressive, more please :)
ReplyDeleteWaaa ! C'est magnifique !
ReplyDeleteBon travail ! Mais je commence à me demander si les péages seront animés. Car si vous regardez bien, sur tous les screen, le passage pour les camions est toujours ouvert. Dommage si ce n'est pas animés.
Mais c'est très bien quand même !
Bonne continuation.

Reaction on Se7en's comment:
ReplyDeleteYes, I wish those "2+1" roads or "climbing lanes" or whatever you call it, for years... But climbing lanes are of course common here in CZ too, so guys from SCS must know them. :-D Let's hope they will be included in ETS2 map.

ReplyDeleteNice SCS. It's realistic. They will be after exit of highway? And when you show us picture from the map?
ReplyDeleteReally is Amazing how much effort is taken in to this game. I like the railroad crossings that have been developed in the game.
ReplyDeleteI have played every game produced by SCS and 1 thing that I notice that have not been in the game. Is when you apply the parking brake normally with pneumatic braking trucks there is a sound Air rushing out of a cylinder. Can this be a possibility?
while driving on monotonous motorway becomes very boring
ReplyDeleteI would like some some nice innovations
For example, traffic can fill up the fuel and stop off to rest, so had to stand in a small queue and to find a place for parking
it would be cool to go in a convoy, but only at the normal speed of 70-90 km / h
this would be very best if the drivers (traffic, too) had to observe all traffic rules
also does not interfere with various complex parts of the roads, potholes, rocks, gravel, dirt, pits, deep puddles, crossing small rivers
new delivery location in the wilderness, remote small farms, quarries
We want it very much!
There is error. The truck is stoped before the barrier. But the barrier is before the cash/ticket.
ReplyDeleteYou must pay/take ticket before you go to barrier.
Please, add Balkans,it would be awesome going from EU to Serbia,Croatia or Macedonia and having to wait a minute or few,btw great job so far, keep up the good work... :)

He is right SCS, small detail to fix
The barrier is on the wrong side :s
ReplyDeleteWOW FANTASTIC !!!
ReplyDeleteI am no longer in the skin!
Watching two beautiful photos I was thinking that you could put in the optional purchase what for us is called in Italian "telepass" so as to skip the queues at the entrance and exit from the highway! :-)
I have been doing dream !
Nice work! You're right, you should make alternative roads (back road). So then the player could take the back way, or head out on the highway.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures! The toll boots will add to the realism of the game! Very impressive, keep up the good work!
ReplyDeletei will miss this blog when the game releases!!
ReplyDeleteWhen you release this game I promise I will add the single roads myself, just to make these guys shut up about them!!!! :D
ReplyDeletewhat i would like to know is why are the 2 lanes on the outside without barriers otherwise you could just drive around them and not pay the toll.
ReplyDeleteMake Swedeeeeeen! :) Nice!
ReplyDeletestation to be able to talk with others about road traffic participants, such as weather, road, police would be wonderful
ReplyDeleteMy friend daz the barriers are there but they have them lifted up
ReplyDeleteLooking good scsteam....Super :-))))
ReplyDeleteHello SCS team,
ReplyDeleteVery nice work , but attention , indeed ,i noticed that the tollgates (barrier) ,you have placed are in wrong location , they must be placed after the toll cabin and not before as shown on your picture.....
Except that error, you make me very happy to see those pictures ( myself i'm french...) and very excited for the game is released
So far you have done a very excellent work ,don't stop and the success will be there for you ;-)
2+1 roads is an important ideas like Se7en says please make some road like that, excellent work SCS.
ReplyDeletewe want new picture today
ReplyDeleteFair play SCS, it just keeps getting better. This looks amazing!
ReplyDeletePlease however don't forget to make the AI traffic more active - we want traffic jams!
Awesome!!! :D.Do you do Romania? Please do! People from Romania love SCS "the best game company" said one of my friends "they do the best truck games" another one. SCS IS TRE BEST GAME COMPANY P.S. sorry 4 my English...
ReplyDeletethis look's great so far! you are really pushing the boundries every time you post something its better and better. But there is still much to be done, i would like that you input more of law into that game, cause european law is very strict about truckers driving hours, about not making breaks. I would like the law to play a bigger part in the game to make it even more realistic. Not that you have to go to sleep when your tune is tired. By european law a trucker has to have a daily break of not less then 9hours to 12 hours. And there is the weekly break where a driver has to stay put 45 hours max or 24 hours min. Another idea is trucks getting dirty that would be great, driving on a rainy day and with all that traffic it should get dirty in my oppinion. And please make that all trucks cant go faster then 90 km/h. And another great idea that plenty of ppl allready mentioned is to give us the option to buy our own trailer's i know that would involve alot of restructuring in the game but i think it would be great pulling into a yard and waiting for your truck to get loaded.
ReplyDeleteJust a couple ideas. Greeting from Croatia, Ivan!
Please SCS, add Bulgaria.
ReplyDeleteMmm, nice. Looking mighty good, especially seeing that you have much work to do yet. Definitely a buy, this one.
ReplyDeleteTwo lane roads can be nice option, indeed. Unless you get stuck behind Grandpa, of course, then you may end up choosing between a dangerous overtake or running late! But they should certainly be in there, two lane roads.
Keep it up, SCS.
je trouve le péage beaucoup trop petit pour une autoroute
ReplyDeleteil faudrait mettre plus de véhicule a l'arrivée de péage

VERY NICE!
ReplyDeleteBut can you make the passage smaller?
It is too wide... in real you have maybe 40cm on each side of the truck....
Grtzzz
WOW!!!
ReplyDeleteSUBLIME J'AI HATE DIT JOUER JE CONNAIS PLEIN PLEIN DE FRANCAIS QUI ATTENDE AVEC IMPATIENCE LA SORTIT DE CE JEU QUI SERA JE PENSE LE MEILLEUR JE DE SIMULATION DE LANNEE VOIR DES ANNEE SUPERIEUR !!!!
ReplyDeleteCher team SCS :
