The interview is translated into Brazilian Portuguese, but Rafael was thinking of all the international readers and the original English questions & answers are left at the bottom.

  9. Thanks for sharing this interview with us, nice reading. ;-) I hope at least few people will finaly understand cons of developing multiplayer. Reasons were explained maybe most widely ever...

BTW, I agree with that guy here who broached idea of Volkswagen Constellation. It's a impressive truck, maybe little curious for some people, but fact is, it looks totally different then other euro trucks and it could be certain diversification. I know there is some plan and game must be released someday, but maybe in some future project or so...

  14. Think about this, you also have alot of fans from the U.S. As well, after ETS2, you should look into making "American Truck Simulator". I mean, look at the games you've made. A large majority of them are American-Based such as the whole 18 Wheels of Steel series. And in America, you shouldn't have a problem looking for a publisher to work with.

  18. Thank you for sharing the interview, and even though I have read most of that over the years from various other interviews it is always something new to learn in there.

I do hope, however, that you will indeed make another 18 Wheels of Steel some day (soon-ish). While I am nuts about trucks I am in love with the big and somewhat more simpler (i.e., low tech) US machines.

That said, I will still buy Trucks & Trailers and Euro Truck Simulator 2 and enjoy both fully. I own all except the first two and still play them all. Yup, addicted to virtual trucking, guilty as charged!

  20. Hello!

    SCS Software thank you!!

Too bad the multiplayer is not the piorité at the moment because this is expected after the release of the first Euro Truck Simulator.
As one of Chefd Virtual Grouping of Trucks in France, 90% hoped to have a multiplayer mode on ETS 2.

    Good Day

  25. I'm a truck simulator gamer from Brazil too.
Like said in the interview, unfortunately we do not have SCS games distributed in Brazil. And that's something that we have to fix!
I belive that a lot more gamers would play SCS games if they were distributed here!
    But... what can we do?
I'm trying to contact some distributors here in my country, but without sucess. That's sad. But i hope that SCS have sucess finding a distributor for us in Brazil.

  26. ^ I don't know... this is nice from you and I'm sure SCS appreciates your effort, but maybe one voice is not enough for distributor. Do you have some truckin' games forum with hundreds or even thousands members in Brazil? I'm pretty sure there must be something like this. What about some collective action, like petition (of course in kindly spirit) sent to distributor? I don't know your market, but you know what I mean, it should be distributor which is primarily focused on budget games, like Rondomedia in EU or ValuSoft in US. If distributor will see hundreds of wishes, maby they look at problem in different light...

  27. Hey Pavel Sebor, you're doing a great job and pushing SCS's limits. I'm sure one day multiplayer will come but at the moment concentrate on making ETS2 the game that will last for a long time. get the game play right and I will happy for sure then :D
