Cabin Accessories DLC available now!


We are happy to announce that our brand new Cabin Accessories DLC is available now on Steam.


Accessories is a thematic departure from our usual map and paintjob DLCs. We hope you'll enjoy it, let us know if we are on the right track creating such new content for you.


Along the launch of Cabin Accessories DLC, after a short beta, the 1.21 Update is available as well. This update aims to update the game code for the DLC in order to fully support accessories physics simulation, but it also includes a ton of small fixes across the project.

To recap the update changes:

VEHICLES
  • Improved reflections in the cabin interior
  • Fixed spider paintjob from Halloween DLC missing for some variants of DAF Euro 6 cabin
  • Adjusted external interior for Actros 2009
CONTROLS
  • Added automatically generated Range-Splitter layout for H-Shifter
  • Improved compatibility with G29 force-feedback
SOUND
  • Improved sounds of tires and suspension
  • Improved sounds for manipulating blinker and brake sticks
  • Reduced volume of interior stick noises
MISC
  • Workaround for missing geometry on low-end Intel GPUs on OSX
  • Fixed possible use of incorrect files after switching between profiles with different set of mods
  • Corrected vegetation sometimes appearing at wrong places in the map
  • The hud mirror switching key (F2) now enumerates all combinations: both off, only far on, both on, only near on
  • Improved road collisions

    we already have the f* turkish modders with their ugly curtains and flags mods that nobody downloads from the mods sites, now the company instead of working on something more usefull like ATS is making these just to rip off some more money from noobs :/ ha

      F* Bahiense, those ugly curtains used in Brazilianand argentinian trucks, also a lot of European country and Russian truck drivers use these curtains. I think you are an untotored argentinian and don't know anytihng about the rest of the world. SO, if you dont like this DLC just SHUT UP, don't cry.       I see it more as a framework upon which modders can build more accessories upon.
      Don´t forget, you´re not forced to buy it. If you don´t like it, don´t buy it, low sales will indicate to SCS that this form of DLC is not desired by the players, and they will focus on other areas. If it´s popular, however, this means that most players like it. As simple as that. Hating it on the forums won´t matter.
      And, at last but not least, if SCS have to keep developing the game even so long time after it´s initial release, they have to get the money somewhere. Developers have to eat something, studio have to pay rent etc. So by buying these DLCs you´re helping the game to live on and get more updates, patches and DLCs. I think its very fair.

      One polish publisher videos on YouTube [in PL: YouTuber] always repeat - not forced to buy, DLC's are the way to support SCS. I agree with him, especially when you got 3 trucks FOR FREE: Scania, Volvo and [after finally got license to use original name/logo] Mercedes.

      I don't get it people - the hate for SCS that want to get money for their work, especially when they are small studio and don't act like Ubisoft or EA - every year sell new game with a lot of DLC taking much more cash from customers and don't get complain about it :D

      Wrong. Minor DLC like this won't be available for retail version, but map DLC will continue to be made available for retail version. Of course, you can always just register your existing key with Steam and be able to get DLC.

      Akula is right (unfortunately:D) but there Is a way, you have to download steam, make your profile etc, then you have to simply activate your game, to do that you go to the "add a game" section, then go to "activate a product on steam, put in your game code and your done! Now you can get automatic updates as well as the cabin accessories as well as other paintjob DLC, if you have any map DLC just activate there codes just like how you activated the game.

      They only DLC's which are available in retail version are map expansions. The rest (paint jobs, cabin accessories, trailers) are available on Steam.

    Thanks for this DLC - I can't believe some people are complaining that you have to pay. it's freaking $3.99.. $3.59 until Oct 7th. you spend more money on a number one at Burger King - and thats only eating one time. my goodness!

    SO many people complaining, and as usual people that seem to think the whole team is working on this DLC. Derp. SCS need to get money from somewhere if they want to keep developing games!     How about Camera switch for on-board GPS? Floating windows for mirrors is handy, but not realistic. Many new trucks created today incorporate safety cameras. Camera rotation for looking at truck mirrors is too slow. Cabin and external cameras are a must for todays truckers!

    Thanks SCS for the continued support. Every bit helps to add to the sim. Just compare the initial release and what we have now.

    For me, I'll be honest, I'm not uber excited about this specific update but I will get the DLC because I can afford to and SCS have remained true to their word with the continued support for the sim.

    So to those who have criticism ... this is fair enough ..... just try to be constructive in how you report your problem and disappointments please.

    Welcome To SCS. New DLC is awesome. The driver most of the time spent in the cockpit. Further change in the middle of the truck. More interiorow types. For me the most important is just the middle of the cabin. You go in the right direction. Greetings from Polish thanks SCS.

    `SCS Software, I must admit you have outdone yourself with this new update. I feel all Trucking fans have been waiting for this for far too long. as most company vehicles don't have build in GPS so a window mounted one is essential in this line of work.

      It won't be available for retail. You can, however, register your copy of ETS2 on Steam and then you will be able to purchase this DLC and many others.

    Yo creo que con todas estas actualizaciones han hecho que el juego se vea muy realista, pero aun así le falta algo muy importante y que con eso seria aún más realista, me refiero a los daños por impacto de un choque que recibe tanto el camión como el trafico vehicular en tiempo real, mientras se juega. Digo yo, no creo que sea tan difícil de comprender.

    To my big dismay in the version 1.21 the logo of the MAN seems again to disappear!!! In addition to that the new Mercedes Benz Actros is still not in the AI Traffic. Ets2 needs essential improvements and not such a negligible DLC. I am very disappointed about this and I do hope that al lot of improvements will come in update 1.22! Thanks.

    Nice Scs softwaire but it's not over at all, there's no curtains for the window on side, pennants are limited, the dice are not dual, the bag can not be placed in the crib, there no new plate to write our names for the price still displayed after scs is settle for less

    the curtains tassels are looking unfinisched. and side curtains are not included, in rest is briliant, more better than any Flag DLC.
    Please provide more upgrade parts (including tires). NEW Mercedes in traffic, support for more colors on the dashboard, interior night-lamp AND rebalance the brightness between 24.00- 03.45.
    I wait for France/ Italy DLC with same features as Scandinavia (realistic signs and roads-intersections)

    Hello !

    Well the DLC is good, but i dont really see the point of the gps. Yeah its all fine and dandy if you are driving one of the old trucks that dont come with gps of their own. But all of this newer trucks come with their own gps which is bigger and better looking then the small one from the dlc.
    Although we have 2 gps's i still have to pull out the hud route advisor to see distance left until destination/ETA and so on. We should really be able to customize one of the gps, either the dlc one or the one that comes with the truck. Otherwise in doesnt make sense having 2 gps with same info, or 3 if i count in the hud one. The whole point of this is for better immersion, that is lost when i have to pull out the hud to see important info.
    Hope will see that fixed in future updates.

      The GPS helps me because it's mounted on windshield, and since I set up my triples as though the middle monitor is all windshield, i can see the GPS without adjusting the view just to see the lower mounted GPS. It actually will help with my immersion when driving different trucks

    I enjoyed the dlc. it was a very great attachment to the game. suggestions: could put the emblems we choose to be viewed at our garages.It is a bit meaningless the choice of an emblem or logo. since we do not see it in the game. have more news about our developments in the company's growth. put meal time in the game too;It would be a good addition. have a communication between drivers; as it was in 18 whells. having more drivers to hire.

    Traffic reports were in one of the games at one point, heck put them in any European language I'd still like it also windshield cracks and dirt would be a big addition maybe too much code...

    Hi,it should to be free not as Dlc. .... Because is a accessories,as a
    " Name " Plate from your wind/widescreen of the truck.
    Many dashboard indicator light does not works ...

    Cool (the Cabin Accessories) but not all that interesting to be honest. I would more like to see some other improvement for the truck in game-play. Like when it's is in a crash for instance. Maybe then some of the lights might not be working and you have to replace them at a garage, before they work again. Could be tricky at dark with reduced vision, all depending on the scale of the crash. And the same goes for other parts of the vehicle that got hit. And the scale of the damage to those bits also all depending on how severe and which parts that got exposed. Maybe a cracked window (front or at the side) that's hard to see thru as well in some cases, that needs to be replaced.

    ВЫ БЫ ЛУЧШЕ С КАЖДОЙ НОВОЙ ВЕРСИЕЙ ИГРЫ ДОБАВЛЯЛИ В СТАРТОВУЮ ГАЛЕРЕЮ ТЯГАЧЕЙ, ХОТЯ БЫ ПО ОДНОМУ ГРУЗОВИКУ. А ТО ЧТО-ТО ЭТИ 15 ОКОН ДЛЯ МАШИН ВСТАЛИ НАМЕРТВО И ВЫ ПО ПОВОДУ ЭТОГО НЕ ШЕВЕЛИТЕСЬ. ОЧЕНЬ ПЛОХО!
