Cruising Greece Event Conclusion & Greek Mythology Pack Release

Yesterday, we ended the #CruisingGreece World of Trucks event for Euro Truck Simulator 2. To celebrate the conclusion of this successful event, we're excited to announce the release of the Greek Mythology Pack! So in this blog, let's wrap up and recap the latest WoTr event as well as present the beautiful Greece-themed paint jobs pack for ETS2.

The #CruisingGreece event began on December 4th with the release of our latest ETS2 map expansion. Although our #BestCommunityEver had almost two months to complete it, they managed to reach the community goal in just twelve days! The collective target was to drive 200 million kilometres while delivering cargo to or from any city in Greece. This is simply astonishing. You accomplished this sooner than any of us believed!

In total, you have driven 387,426,427 kilometres! More than 93 thousand players took part in the event and over 48,000 finished all 15 jobs and accomplished their individual goals. Although it wasn't a deciding factor for the community goal, we wanted to share this statistic too - you've completed 827,116 deliveries while participating in this event!

We would like to thank everyone who participated in this event and the team behind its production. We hope you are enjoying the beautiful rewards they prepared for you!

Greek Mythology Pack Release

The Greek Mythology Pack was initially supposed to be released along with the map expansion. However, due to some unfortunate technical issues with the previous paint jobs, we needed to retouch and rework them a little. Now that the work is done, the end of the Cruising Greece event seems like a great opportunity to release it.

Travel back to ancient times with the Greek Mythology Paint Jobs Pack! Perfect for hauling cargo across Greece's scenic landscapes, these designs bring history and myth to life on the highways of Euro Truck Simulator 2. Now, every journey becomes a heroic odyssey.

This DLC lets you adorn your truck with the spirit of classic Greek myths through five detailed paint jobs inspired by legendary creatures. Each design captures the essence of a timeless tale from Greece’s epic past, transforming your truck into a chariot of ancient myths as you journey across Europe. Paint jobs included in this DLC:

• Medusa
• Hydra
• Cerberus
• Minotaur
• Pegasus

This paint jobs pack is already available on Steam, so make sure to get it and cruise the roads of Greece like an ancient king!

We hope you are excited about this new content! Remember to follow us on our social media (X/Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Bluesky, TikTok) so you won't miss out on any news from the world of Euro Truck Simulator 2, and share screenshots and videos with us featuring the new paint jobs. We'd also really appreciate it if you could sign up for our newsletter to stay informed, even when you're not able to check out the blog or our socials. Drive safe!

Cruising Greece World of Trucks Event

We invite you all to join us on Wednesday, the 4th of December, to celebrate the release of our new Greece DLC, by taking part in our World of Trucks event – Cruising Greece! Embark on an epic journey through the legendary landscapes of Greece and its captivating islands, while contributing to its uniquely rich economy.

The challenge for our #BestCommunityEver is to achieve the community goal of driving 200,000,000 km while delivering cargo to or from any city in Greece.

While you are #CruisingGreece, you will encounter its natural beauty, ancient and modern architecture, and historic locations whose stories have stood the test of time through millennia to educate and inspire many of us today. With so much to see and do in this Mediterranean paradise, it's easy to get carried away with all the possibilities. We can certainly recommend taking part in the olive and cotton industries, offering beautiful locations to visit, then there is Greece's world-famous marble exports and tourism to experience, including enchanting islands and postcard-perfect villages.

As you participate in Greece's iconic economy, you'll get to experience new custom-made depots including quarries, farms, a shipyard, and gas stations, where you can deliver cargo. You can also look forward to many more epic views and highlights such as:

• Piraeus Port of Athens, the largest passenger port in Europe
• Faliraki Beach, a beautiful tourist beach with golden sands and deep blue water
• Lake Polyfytos Bridge, one of the longest bridges in Greece
• Thessaloniki Cement Plant, featuring one of the largest-scaled artistic mural projects in Europe

As with past cruising events, you can use your own trailer and experience all these in the external market!

Greece DLC has 15 exciting new cities to explore, and we’ve got a special reward for completing your personal goal, which will require you to deliver a job to or from all of them. All jobs for the event need to be 200 km or more.

So, what are you waiting for? Come along and explore the Mediterranean paradise of Greece and its surrounding islands, and experience its hidden wonders and thriving economy in this latest addition to Euro Truck Simulator 2.
