A new gorgeous Euro Truck Simulator 2 movie to say goodbye to the weekend!
The approval process will most likely take considerable time, we need to push it hard now, ahead of finalizing many other parts of the game. A lot of parties need to make up their mind and go through the necessary paperwork, the feedback may also require some changes in the game. So don't hold your breath yet - the game is not quite finished.

With a man from Scania behind you dont let your game out without these :
The most certain is the Steering wheel problem, and many people say that too !. Make the steering continous ! And dont lose the grip at highways turns like in GTS... So if playing whith wheel we dont want deadzones in it ! In T&T there is a 40° dead zone !
Second is the truck Acceleration !
And the third if its possible the several stage retarder !
+ Also many people beg for make the lights for separated buttons like L for low beam, and K for high beam ! So when press K its just flash up till we hold but when lights are on Highbeam will stay in position :D

Looking at this clip I got another idea:
I thought the opportunity for us to choose the look of our truck driver through a series of variable parameters such as race, sex, color + haircut, clothing style, etc. etc.
To make it even more "ours" the character to be used for so many hours of play, liked this idea to you?
What do you think? Can you do?

ReplyDeleteWhen driving with the mouse, the game should let you control the truck with W,A,S,D as well because the mouse driving system is a little buggy and sometimes you crash because the game wouldn't respond to the mouse moving. Therefore you need W,A,S,D buttons. and make it that we can drive with keybord just like mouse.
Nice work on the interior, looks real, . Btw, i checked your 3d models, and scania cab must be reworked... , not so real :/

Little idea, why not put tuning interior, i mean, curtains (alcantara etc... basic, low cost, best quality...), floor, etc etc?

ReplyDeleteThis Magnum looks astonishing! Good luck with the approval process, it would be a shame to let all these original brand assets go to waste...
As it was already told above, there will be absolutely no problem with the game on the visual side (and the new music piece used in the video is also a nice treatment for ears, so kudos to your composer as well).
However, as my trucker countryman SnyperD wrote above, we hope you can confirm us in a blog entry (or a video would be even better) that you made steps to eliminate the controlling issues experienced in your previous games (namely GTS and T&T) and that steering wheel and/or mouse control will be much more enjoyable. The bad response time and the huge deadzone of GTS killed the game when using my steering wheel - I hope this won't be the case this time.
Also, you could easily get things straight regarding physics if you made a separate blog entry on that topic as well - nice visuals are one thing, but appropriate controls and physics are a lot more important matters in a truckin' game.
I am confident that the community will see substantial development in these areas as well... :)

ReplyDeleteThree things that I think should make the game more realistic:
ReplyDelete1: "Real Time Notebook". In real life, we cannot use a notebook while driving, our time do not "freeze" when we do, so I think this gonna make the game a bit more realistic, because if anyone want to see their emails, will have to stop their truck in somewhere, to open acess. If the game gain the real time feature, things will be more fun, in all aspects.
2: Ego Mode. Sommething we can control (our driver) to fix the trailer on truck, and other things.
3: If a ego mode will be implemented, then I think is a good idea to put garages, that you can buy to store your trucks in real time, no screens to select, just go to your truck and drive out. About the garage, it do not need to be just a garage, can be your office, to control your "empire" (if sommething like GTS will be implemented). I think if this is implemented, our experience with the game will be far more high.

ReplyDeleteb0z0: It's not reminisce, it's just good alternative for all who don't want (or can't afford) racing wheel. I'm not interested in racing games too much; SCS games are one of few exceptions. So I don't want wheel, but I've found mouse as handy and pretty pleasant alternative. Too bad it's not supported in Haulin' or Bus Driver.

... First of all must salut you for the work you had done ! Please send rgdz to the modelers, working on this project. Awesome improvements! But ... grr there is always one "but" from us fans .. but !
1. Focus a little bit more on the interior. I mean - all the buttons (central console, doors, seats etc) to "light" when you start the engine (just like you did on the TGX interior). Anyway many of us are hoping to have some buttons in use (or in your language "animated buttons". That isnt hard work, its just annoying xD ). You made the mirrors simulation, which made us so happy ! So i cant complain about the other interiour feautures hehe.
2. Sound ? well no doubt for it anymore cuz of your feeds and news here ^^
3. Map models and feautures. Well i think some new gas stantion models would be great yeah, and afc to be added in towns too ^^. I hope new docks too ! But making the virtual world to be "alive" with all that movment of the grass and trees is awesome! Narrow roads? You have fulfilled that too. Thank you again ..
4. Truck tuning and such extras. Its added again thanks to your hard work. I just cross fingers again that diffenret cabs will have different roof tops in the interior camera ;p
well many more .. but nothing big and special. If we look back at the time and commends, we can see that you SCS, your team have compleated almost all of the tips and demands of the fans ! Big thanks for that politic.
