If you see errors related to your language there which happened during its import into the engine, it is because there are characters used in the translations which do not belong into the language's codepage.

ReplyDeleteI hope we will see at least a 10 minute gameplay from ETS 2, i didn`t even a single minute of gameply with that game, actual gameplay. I saw one with Volvo FH 16 but he was changing gears like a ferrari, maybe it wasn`t with the new engine or maybe he wasn`t optimized, i wan`t to see how it looks now, Scania trucks looking great, changing gear very reall, accelerating real, but other trucks? At least 1-2 minutes of gameplay with 1-2 different trucks with actual progress if you can do this SCS, if you have the time(it`s more corect) :D. I hope you will post this coming week some new gameplay.

I saw on the map thread that many people complained about the map, but i don`t understand why :|, the map is so big that you can`t have any complain and I BET that SCS will release at least
ReplyDelete1 or 2 add-ons with maps like they did with GTS. Maybe a lot of people complain about the map is because when you see a small picture it looks like ETS 1 map, even smaller, but in reality the map as a lot of people said is 4 or 5 times bigger with a lot of detail and lots of new small roads.

ReplyDeleteI was watching the video that was posted here on the blog day 23/05/12 and I noticed something strange in the game, the consumption of fuel. On the dashboard was checking that the tank was filled with 700 liters, and also showed that he was going to do 700 km, and it was empty unloaded the truck only, or whether it was doing 1 km per liter, and was to he was doing 3-4 kilometers an liter empty without charge. And I also saw that when he hitched a trailer truck, was 700 km to 810 km with a full tank (700 liters) and made an account and he is doing 1.15 kilometers per liter, instead of making an average of 2 3 km per liter.

Untill ETS 2 it`s a loong long time :(
DeleteFor it`s 2 years not 2 months, it`s good that they are releasing the Scania TDS but after couple of weeks it will get boring, it`s not ETS 2, Scania TDS has a limit like Truck and trailers, only in Scania TDS that limit is a little bit bigger, but ETS 2 hasn`t, you can play for months. For example, i`ve played GTS and it tooked a long time to open my company, because of the map, it was very big, but boring. At 95 km/h in a 1000km job, in real time it tooked me about 30-40 minutes. In ETS 2 the jobs will be a lot longer, so that means it will take a lot more time untill i will open a company, if i don`t make a loan from the bank(i`m not a fan of this, i prefer to open/buy my stuff with cash without any loans from any bank).
What is two years ? ETS2 is due to be released around about August time .

Does anyone know if the trucks in ETS 2 are more expensive? That would be a very nice thing, if a normal line truck(C class) would cost like +130.000 Euro and a topline truck(A class) would be over 250.000 euros that would be good, because you have to play a lot more time to buy a tuck.

DeleteAnd you are not impatient? :))) Thats a good joke, if you are not impatient, means you dislike the game and you don`t care if it does come out and when. STDS or ETS 2 are not big games, they are working from over an year at them, at least one of them should come out from May, or atleast this week. :| I understand, it is a very very hard work, but STDS it`s not that big. ETS 2 should have a beta version untill now and fix the bugs that are still in the game and in midle of July they should realese it. This is my opinion.

Truck driving used to be fun now its just a pain in the ass .
DeleteI started when i was 18 in the forces and gave up recently as i was sick of the hassle and garbage you get from the idiots sat in the office screaming down the phone because you are 5 minutes late to a delivery after being stuck in constant jams .
The UK roads have got to be the worst anywhere with non stop jams wherever you go and no parking regulations all over the place . Stupid rules like they expect every delivery in some town centres to be all done between 8 and 10 am .
The fun and enjoyment went out of real truck driving a long long time ago and so playing games like this is easy compared to doing it for real
That's for damn sure mate ! Trucking 'was' years ago, unfortunately.. Now it's disponents yelling and hours of traffic jams, from wich the only guy who 'gets it' is the driver :X.. Hope that it'll get better soon, I'm studying for the logistics, spedition and Freight, but if trucking gets better it'll be my choice !

DeleteI totally agree, but I belive a job is what you make it, i'm lucky, I work for 1 of the uk's biggest road haulage companys, and love working for them, we have a dedicated planning team to help the drivers, if we are running late ( we have 2 hour windows in which to deliver ), we contact them via the intruck tracking/contact system so they know where the drivers are, most of the time they know if there are any traffic delays on the roads, and will inform the driver to take a alternate route to affoid this, they will also contact the customer to inform them of any delays and if the customer can not accept the load outside the 2 hour window the planner will send the truck to 1 of the warehouses to be stored until the customer can accept the load ( most of the places I deliver to have 20 or more trucks going to them per day and have limited loading/unloading bays avaible so book the drivers into slots ), if the driver is diverted the planner will have another load waiting for them to take to another customer, if your a tramper like me that is, the company I work for also have day drivers and night drivers, so its good for me most of the time, but Ive been informed today that my truck is being replaced in 2 months ( I love my MAN TGX with the XXL cab 6x2/2 with the 540BHP engine, but as its the only MAN on the fleet they are giving me a new scania or volvo, not sur which I want, and yes I get a choice of the 2, ill be home over the weekend, so i'll have to look into it a bit, but im gutted

Euro Truck Simulator 2 will not be multi-language i think.

DeleteIve a question I would like to get answered! On Youtube you see translators getting beta game but I helped withr the translation too and I didn't get beta? WTF?! I worked hard on the Dutch Belgian translation too??

Translators and beta testers are not the same thing, and with attitude like that im not surprised your not a beta tester, you may have worked hard on the translation and SCS are grateful, and so will all the Dutch speakers and players, but you volunteered to help translate the game, SCS have to ask you for beta testing its that simple
DeleteBeta testers're the people holding the side blogs for SCSs' games, there're french, polish, belgian etc. blogs that're just like this and their owners were given the beta game to test it, you missunderstand. Not everyone helped translating the game became beta testers, only the side blog admins as far as I know..
