+1 i also think there might be problems with the server overloading. Well look at atari's testdrive unlimited 2 the day of release of that game there servers crashed and you could not play the game for 2 weeks because they had to expand the servers.
Damn - If the reports are true I will not be able to play until the 29th because Origin fucks up and doesn't give it out until then - If had known that I would've ordered it through the SCS site, shit support from Origin! ><
i had mine pre-ordered from play.com then they moved to 26th oct so i cancelled, then i pre-ordered from game.com then yesterday they moved date to 26th so i thought oh well scs deserve the money ill get the dvd from game.com and also have the downloaded game from scs themselfs tonight. Guessing,,,, other companys that are selling ETS2 are waiting an extra week to release, just because they haven't had the dvd versions in yet, i'm guessing scs are sending the dvd verions today/tomorrow but there kind enough to release the game tonight on there web site as we've been waiting for sooooo long. This might not be the case but thats what i think

I'm kinda upset... The demo goes out at 00h00 tonight, and I start work at 00h15. However, there are two good points about this. First, I am a lorry driver in real life, so I get to drive my Scania then come back to drive my "Valiant". Second, it means that all of you guys, despite having the game first, will all have downloaded it, leaving the servers so overloaded they'll probably crash a couple of times and the download speed will be atrocious. Hopefully, by 14h00/15h00 when I come home, as tired as I'll be, I can click on the computer, download it, which may be slow, I can have a nap while it downloads, wake up and make a coffee while it installs, then spend the day on the game I've been eagerly awaiting since the rumours were first started. Happy gaming you guys, and congratulations on such a wonderful job you've all done, SCS Team. Very proud of all of you.
a pointless button. i don't understand why people complain about realism inthis game with windows that open etc etc and then people want to be able to press a button and the truck parks its self thats not very realistic if you ask me
I'm happy to be a beta tester, and I'm sure that will the game to be a success. It's all very well constructed, beautiful and extremely functional. It is a real world.
The SCS did a great job, and very much improved since the last games.
All implemented improvements make this the best truck simulator of all time.

It's true they wrote CET, but it makes no sense, because CEST is still in effect. I think they just mean CEST. We'll see... after all, CET 0:00 means CEST 23:00, so it would be even better. :-D But no... CEST 0:00 is more likely.
