Trailers

We hear lots of suggestions that it's time to replace some of the very old trailer models that we have been using since before original Euro Truck Simulator. You are right, and indeed, such is the plan!

Here is a quick glimpse of the very recent work being done in this area. Now if only we could manage to identify, approach and get some friction with the right kind contacts for brand licensing even at the level of trailer manufacturing companies...

    This look wonderful! It would be great if you could somehow get the trailers into the game! I love the detail on it! Don't forget to add the cables and wires that attach to the cab (if you can) . I am definitely buying ETS2! I can't wait!

    Surely that trailer isn´t absolutely 100% detailed but i am wondering that its so low poly one :o :o ! Perfect, only keep doing like this! Krone is nice step to forward.... now next european brands please :p ..

    nice job! In my opinion, the older trailers were nice, especially the ones in GTS. They looked very realistic. One question though: What trailers did you guys use in newer games that were created before ETS, the original one? Because I just don't see that in any newer games.

    Keep improving trailers, but I don't know how much is left to create because they are very realistic already.

    The rear of the trailer looks a bit simple, should tune a little area of the bumper, fender, lights, and reach below.

    I like the idea of new trailers coming to the game but please remember to have the trailer marker lights at the rear top and front lights working.

    I also would like to see a function in upgrading the trailers such as accessories like adding side skirts similar to Eddie Stobarts/Royal Mail/TNT trailers and also different rear lights like Hamburger Lights and rear reversing spotlight.

    Also you don't see other trucks coming towards you with there trailer which looks like its stuck halfway in its truck cab and i also like the idea of others to show the air cables connected when pulling trailers.

    but please no double wheels on trailers!!!!

    And many more skins for the trailers.
    Not like in ETS1 or GTS, ever fifth truck has the same name on the trailer.... that is bad.....

    As someone said, there shouldn't be double wheels on the trailer you've shown. There are doube wheels on some with two axels and the flatbeds and the heavy haul ones, but not on these normal ones with three axels. But other things look good. I am very happy that you are listening to us players. Good job so far! Oh and i have one questino that i would like you to answer in the next blog or something: Will there be southern Europe countries too? ( Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia And Hercegovina, Albania, Macedonia, Greece, Romania, Bulgaria...). Thanks for reading and wanswering if you will. Greedengs from Slovenia!

    I'm a modder for our games, and i must say that you done a little nice job on this trailer, i know, you can't make our models high poly, that's why, we work after you, to make some HD models.

    I really like theses news, all days, and i will buy ets2.

    If god is present, and if you have time, have you planed to see an eventual multiplayer? That will be difficult, but that can be the revolution of trucksim games...

    I apreciate every new model you did so far, trucks, trailers, AI traffic...
    But what would be the secret project? Looks like eveyone just forgot about it. At least it means that ETS2 is greatly expected by us!

    Nice model, very similar to reality. Remember anyway that these semitrailers don't have double wheel (that's more in the USA).

    In some cases with shorter semitrailers with 2 axles instead of 3, then they have double wheel (like the one used for gravel). And even in some models, they are still 3 and single:

    Normal semis (12m) just have 3 single wheels on each side. Also, they usually are wider than other wheels.

    Fucking nice!! SCS!! Very good job!! hum... a suggestion: please, don't forget the side and top lights... at the center of the wheels... that cylindrical cube should be maybe, half of its size. do not forget to add trailers with different configuration of axles (2 axles, 4 axles, 2x1 axles and separated axles)!!
    Add a better trailer suspension... suspended axles!!
    Please... add 8x4 tractors!! as someone asked - DOUBLE-TRAILERS!!

    You could put in double trailer Euro Truck Simulator 2, so with the following images and http://stcv.com.br/store/37a.jpg as exists in the 18 Wheels of Steel American Long Haul and Haulin.
    Assure that every fan of the Brazilian population trucks will like the idea

    in the game will you have to buy the trailer youself instead of hooking up to the companies trailer. if you don't have your own trailer you could be able to hire your own.

    Great job! But one detail -> please smaller wheels! It´s called a "lowliner" trailer. The tractors have smaller wheels,too.

    Very good work scs, but double wheels are not realistic on trailers. Just for semi-lowloaders are theu good, but not any more. I'd also like to see more different loads, like concrete blocks, oversized loads. I'd also like to see more special trailers, like Goldhofer, Nooteboom and Broshuis trailers (see their websites for ideas.) And I'd like to see more different loading/unloading places, in real world you don't unload your semi-lowloader, tipper, flatbed or cement mixer at a depot. And I'd like to see more small roads in the city, like in Amsterdam.

    Weight of the trailers and behavior on the road is very very important, to call this game simulator it must be very good polished. Every kind of trailers and loads have diferent behaviour. OK GUYS

    Scs congratulations are in game graphics are great, the trucks are beautiful, I hope the game is a success.

    While playing we can buy accessories (trim with lights, headlights, front bumper, rear bumper American type, pipe leaks, etc ...) and change in the paintings with 18 wheels of steel pedal to the metal?

    The country has almost all the cities or only the most care? At Euro truck simulator1, Portugal had only the city of Lisbon, it was terrible.

    Businesses and jobs are burned real names?

    When is the scheduled release of the game? I look forward ...
