It's about a week until our paint jobs design competition will be closed. We are still receiving some great entries from you which are reflected on the World of Trucks Editor's Pick section. We are really enjoying the images you have created. It's always incredibly hard to pick only a few winners from so many good submissions. So we have decided to increase the number of people to receive the final prize from 5 to 10.
Now, while we are all waiting for Euro Truck Simulator 1.11 update - which is still in testing (right now we have to iron out the physics adjustments) - let us show you a bunch of images from the other continent. It's a reminder that the second team at SCS is working really hard on the American Truck Simulator world:

Cannot wait for 1.11 and ATS. Thank you for all the changes in 1.11!
ReplyDeleteLooking good scs. Can't wait for ats
ReplyDeleteI wonder if ATS will be better than ETS2. Oh well, got to wait for the reviews and SCS: please dont make a terrible AI in ATS please.
ReplyDeleteDepends on what you like. If you like US trucks, ATS will be for you, if Euro trucking is what you want, then ETS will continue to be the one.
DeleteThank you for the images SCS we almost forgot about ATS. hope when the game is realised we will see a various series of trucks like in your previous 18 wheels series also looking forward to the release of the game.
ReplyDeleteGreat. Looking forward to 1.11 and ATS !
ReplyDeleteUž sa teším na ATS. Na patch si zrejme ešte počkáme, ale to nevadí. A čo tretí tím SCS (ak vôbec je) - EuroCoachSimulator - nejaké info k tomu? Či to je projekt odložený na neurčito?
ReplyDeleteATS will be a succes, but need more time to be polished. so pls relax and have patience. SCS make the best they could to bring out a wonderful game. thanks a lot for the changes in ETS2, hope they are real, not just theory. and wait another little glitches to take the realism in ETS2 further. not just on physics, but on another missing features, decors, and functions.
ReplyDeleteFor a long term plan, headlights should drop the shadow. It would look cool and realistic.
DeleteATS California is amazing
ReplyDeleteThe second Pic looks like GTA San Andreas...
ReplyDeleteThe third Pic looks like GTA V...
Yeah, there's something fishy going on with Amirican Truck Simulator. Every now and then they offer some nondescript screenshots. Hardly any traffic in the images. One would think that with a whole team dedicated only to ATS they would have lots and lots of things to show by now, not just the same apocalyptic pictures over and over again of streets inhabited only by palm trees.
DeleteThere'll probably be more traffic in the actual game. ETS 2 screens made by SCS barely have any traffic in them, but there are way more cars in game. I hope there'll be traffic jams near the LA region, that area is known for its high density of traffic.
DeleteBut yeah, I agree with you. Some ATS pics look like crap and others look great.
I hope they won't get our expectations sky high with shiny advertising screens when the real game looks like a crap last-gen console port...
And no, I wouldn't say the third screen looks like GTA V, GTA V's textures look better...
Would be lovely if people stopped whining and complaining all the time :) All respects to scs.
DeleteI agree wait until the reviews are on pcgamer and gamespy then respond
DeleteThey are screenshots... not end game. It's showing the development of the game.
DeleteIt would be really cool if ATS become integrated with ETS2 so you can move seamlessly between the continents :D Instead of being just two separate games I mean.
ReplyDeleteYea but how long would it take to combine the two games, release them, and install or update them?
DeleteIf they release ATS as an add-on to ETS2 it would probably be quicker than to release it as a separate game? I think? :D If they release ATS as a standalone game it will probably be YEARS before we can actually play it :(
Deletenow that wouldn't be really cool, why?
Deletebecause people would use their us trucks in europe and eu trucks in the states... and it would be senseless anyway i don't see the point of connecting the two
but to satisfy us all: the option to connect -> you can decide if you want to or if you don't ...
I hate to burst your bubble, but from a business perspective, the amount of mapping they are doing, combined with the amount of changes they are probably making, would not make releasing this as an expansion very feasible, unless of course you don't mind them firing alot of their staff.
DeleteGame releases are a very silly thing, and people are WAY more likely to buy a new game than an expansion. Maybe you aren't, but the majority of people who aren't die hard SCS fans are. It may make no sense, but if you have even a vague understanding (which admittedly is about all I have, I'm not expert on the subject) of marketing you would know that the excitement of getting something new is often what drives a person to a purchase. So yeah, I really doubt SCS will do that. Maybe they'll release an update at some point to merge them, but on day 1 I really, really doubt it.
@ Gene Kaufman: true, new games drag people to the stores and expansions don't always... and if they want improve the game like ets2 (and they will) it's way too much work to improve the merged game if you understand what i mean...
DeleteI don't see the value in it. The only way it would work is if you could cross countries, which doesn't happen in real life.
DeleteIf by adding both countries into one save game and company wouldn't be enough for added gameplay and make it worth the development cost of having them on one map.
And also, I think everyone's missing the vital point that Euro Truck Simulator is set in Europe, not the U.S. Once the European map has been fully created (as in, down to Greece, into Russia and down to Portugal*), then there won't be any more ETS2. *it's highly unlikely SCS will be committed enough to go this far.
DeleteATS California can you please change the lightpoles to the real california in this pic
ReplyDeletehttp://www.aaroads.com/california/images005/i-005_sb_exit_107c_03.jpg
Please do this please thanyou
will you for fuck sake shut the fuck up. You have already spammed the blog with your comment about ligtt poles . So for the last time STOP. Go and stick the light poles in your asshole
DeleteHaha African Truck Simulator Californa +2
DeleteAfrican?
DeleteAsia Train Suffer you probably mean...
Or Antarctic Terrain Structure
Animals Toes Set, maybe?
hush... You need to be clear...
Put alaska in ats
DeleteATS looks awesome!!
ReplyDeleteit does :) looks like there'll be a lot of unique places and a beautiful landscape from the city to the rural parts and the deserts :) so happy really can't wait
Deletehello

One can always dream...
ATS is looking great, hopefully you'll have other States besides the Left Coast State. :-)
ReplyDeleteAlaska

DeleteSHOW MORE AMERICAN TRUCK SIM!!
ReplyDeleteI'm so hyped for American Truck Simulator, cant wait :'D
ReplyDeleteYear right!!! Keep trying...trolololo...
ReplyDeleteAmerican truck simulator looks great! I might get it just for the graphics. And I don't even like american trucks ...
ReplyDeleteWhy? In my opinion, American trucks are better than European trucks. Btw when movie producers make a trucking movie they use American Trucks cause it has a face, Euro trucks dont.
DeleteCome now.. to each his own. Euro trucks have a lot of personality, just like the American ones. And by the by, trucks appear in European movies, you can bet that they are not the American kind. Guess you haven't seen many of those.
DeleteI like both European and American trucks, driven all kinds on both continents and I can't wait for ATS.
Wait, trucks in European movies? uh can u say which movies?
DeleteOnly movies aimed at an american audience use american trucks. I don't know why, probably to make it less frightening for the americans to watch it. Americans are so insecure and jumpy, first it was the communists and now al-qaeda. A suddenly appearing european truck in a movie would probably make most americans crap themselves.
Deletenah I might watch European truck movies. Maybe if there was a movie named Evil Scania I may watch that.
DeleteYou should watch more TV...
DeleteA lot of European movies have US trucks and cars. Most of the time they're being driven by baddies... I don't know why, maybe because they look more badass or something... (Though the new MB looks badass! :P)
''Oh, the bad guys are chasing us in a Skoda, well... I'm teriffied.'' or ''Oh no, that truck is going so fas... Nevermind, it's limited to 90 kph...''
And FYI, in the first Transporter movie they used 2 Renault Magnums. Yeah, they absolutly frightened the American audience with those ugly pieces of shit... That's why they probably used KWs in the next movie. :P And I don't blame the Americans for that!
ATS.......drool!.......when?.......soon pls
ReplyDeleteIt would be great if SCS could show off some of the trucks for ATS. I also hope that they do a good job on the mountain passes. Cajon, Donner, The Grapevine and can you imagine taking a drive through Feather River Canyon?
ReplyDeleteEurope has some interesting roads but the US has some really steep hills. I can hardly wait for ATS!
+1
DeleteThanks for showing more pictures of ATS, but please don't just rely on beautiful panoramas to sell your game. Sure some people will see the beautiful scenery and automatically think the game will be awesome because of it, but I'm sure many, like myself, are aware that this is not a free roam game like GTA, and that everyone of those pictures is taken from a perspective you will never see unless you are using the fly-cam (i.e. not driving).
ReplyDeleteI recognize the need to use these angles to portray the game's landscape, I'm just saying they don't give much indication of what we'll actually be seeing in the actual playing of the game.
When you say the "second team at SCS is working really hard on the American Truck Simulator world" do you just literally mean the "world" as in the environment (map) and that is the reason for all the panoramas?
SCS use CryEngine from Crytek! It's available on steam! Your games would look awesome!
ReplyDeletegraphics engines for video games are not available in steam type services. but you have to deal directly with the developer. however american truck is not listed among the games to be released to use CryEngine motre 1 2 3 4
DeleteUsing bought engine is for gaaay "developers" with mouses. Using own engine is for real men, who have balls to challenge keyboards.
DeleteYeah true AnonymousJune 24, 2014 at 3:26 AM
DeleteYeah but jackknifing usually (always?) starts as a skid, which is not something the game physics allow.
ReplyDeleteCool, can't wait!
ReplyDeleteHere is a list of games coming out will use the CryEngine
ReplyDeletearena of fate
armored warfare
battle cry
Everybody's Gone to the Rapture
evolve
Homefront: The Revolution
human element
Hunt: Horrors of the Gilded Age
Kingdom Come: Deliverance
Project Heart and Soul
Ryse: Son of Rome
Star Citizen
cryengine 3 game list
Corrupt Oasis
cradle
enemy front
Lichdom: Battlemage
Rise of Nusantara
snow
all games listed are still in the works, their output is expected between 2014 and 2017.
not to mention the license for the CryENGINE 3 is 1.2 million euro
Cryengine was a great engine but now it is one of the most horrible engines out there. Wastes alot of resources for those quality. Even Frostbite 3 and Unreal Engine 4 is a lot better optimized. 1.2 million is alot for scs. Scs only gets about 20% for each game sold, so they need to sell atleast 100'000 copies to cover those expenses.
DeleteAnd then you need to porting the physics from prism3d. While the current engine delivers a great driving physics that took them years.
Their engine may be old. almost 20 years but they have massively improve it.
Why the hell do they get "20%"? They should get at least ~70% from steam.
DeleteDoesn't Image Space Incorporated (ISI) have a great physics engine for sale?? Don't know if it's adaptable for trucks, but for different kind of cars works great...
DeleteISI continues to license isiMotor2 to other companies such as 2PEZ Games Development, Reiza Studios, Ignite Game Technologies, Blimey! Games, Slightly Mad Studios and The Sim Factory. Some of these companies went on to produce very successful software titles. ISI, meanwhile, used isiMotor2 in Superleague Formula: The Game and began to further develop the software engine.
DeleteisiMotor2 became the software engine used by most of the Formula One grid when various advancements and a further opened architecture led to rFactor Pro. This product, which continues to evolve, has become the leading software solution for racing teams and automotive manufacturers.
Scs cannot afford the time and money to port their engine. Scs is a company with about 30-40 people and by the way they are still improving their own engine.
DeleteJust for comparing: play the first ETS and compare it to ETS2. The Improvement is huge!
no ones asking for DAF? hahahaha thank GOD!
ReplyDeleteDAF pls.
ReplyDeleteWell there are things that you really need to concider for ATS:
ReplyDelete1) Since you probably alreadu have the license for a specific brand, why not make older trucks that can be used as second hand trucks.
2) Work on career-mode! Let us buy old beatup trucks to start with via a fake website or paper. Have competition! Have competing truckers/truckcompanies that makes it hard for you to get somewhere, they transport studd cheaper maybe, they are already bigger. Let the AI-truckcompanies be skinned or colored (trucks, warehouses, trailers) so that you recognize them. When you are big enough, you can actually buy your opponents company!
You had it in 18WoS across america (or the one before)! Not just pointless driving around.....
3) Let us buy the specific trailers we need aswell! Truck companies in the us, just don't buy trucks, let us buy trailers aswell! And then we back up the empty trailer onto a dock or warehouse, it gets loaded (no need for fancy animations, just clip into a text saying loading or something), you SIGN PAPERS! Each time! If you forget, you're in trouble!
4) Engine failures, punctures etc etc etc! Maybe even dirt, trucks get dirty over time!
This! I've never "finished" ETS, GTS or ETS2 because it gets boring to just drive around. Failures are needed so much for this game!
DeleteWould also like to add the ability to see your own company trucks around the map. Where they are on the map and on the road if you happen to meet them on the road.
+1
DeleteMore challenges are needed that's a good point there
trucks do break down, not all roads are nice and smooth, not all curves are easy to navigate in real life, this game needs a real "simulation" kick to make it more interesting, right now its just a game to relax and "fall asleep at the wheel simulator"
Also needed are heavy and oversize loads with good physics and trucks to pull them and tandem trucks and multidrop deliveries and list goes on and on....
It's not about "finishing" anything. You don't finish a flight simulator do you? So why would you "finish" a truck simulator? It's about driving the roads, delivering the goods, listening to some good music while driving and simply enjoying yourself.
DeleteIt is partly about finishing the game:
Delete1: you don't get to drive to all the cities from start
2: you have to earn money to be able to buy a garage (with a maximum amount of garages)
3: All the roads look the same (after a few hours there is nothing that surprise you, or "enjoying yourself" whatever that means)
4: You get achievements by driving well: new truck parts (and trucks)
5: After unlocking everything - there is nothing to strive for.
What's the point of achievements if it's not about finishing the game?
In comparison to a flight sim: the world is yours. Choose any plane and any airport you like. Fly.
*Buy your own trailer, you can drive to nearest trailer dealer and pick it up yourself (then try and find a suitable load for it to help pay for fuel) or have it delivered to your garage at a cost.
Delete*Be able to store a fleet of trucks and trailers at your garage and switch between them at any time. But when they are just sitting there they are costing you money (depreciation, maintenance) so if you need money you put a driver in it and find them jobs (or you can put them on auto-mode and they will find their own jobs but they may not find return jobs everytime or do the best paying jobs, so if you manage them yourselves they make more money).
*For deliveries like fuel, you drive to places like fuel depots, service stations and transfer a certain percentage of fuel (controlled like holding ENTER when you fill your truck up with fuel), so you are making multiple drop-offs. I hate just driving from A to B because fuel tankers rarely do this.
*Same if you have 2x20 foot containers, you might have to pick up and take each one to a separate location, so you need to think about origin and destination of the two you pick to minimize wasted fuel.
*Oversize/machinery loads if you have a drop-deck, much like the 2x20 foot containers you can have two separate machines for the load, again to maximize profit. There might be a digger going from San Fran to LA, so you take that, but then passing through San Jose you pick up a tractor that is headed near LA as well. So you have two pick-up points to drop-off points and also have to watch the freight market more closely to come up with the best paying loads. That to me is part of the fun of the "hustle" that is the trucking industry.
Yes I guess SCS tries to satisfy as many people as possible. Without achievements the "gamers" get bored. Personally I find pleasure in driving well, not damaging the goods, deliver on time etc. That's what I strive for, and I never get bored of it. Each delivery is a new adventure, I want to get there on time with zero damage. That's it. But I understand that we're all different and have different needs.
DeleteIs there any way to combine ETS2 and ATS so we could play in the two worlds?
ReplyDeleteIf that would be possible I'd fart so hard!!
DeleteNo ATS only
DeleteGuess I have to hold my farts in then.
Deletenice, can you make people cross zebra
ReplyDeleteYou mean like zebrople?
DeleteHomo-zebrians.
Delete=))
DeleteSHOW EURO TRUCK SIM!!
ReplyDeleteone post before this one you CAN SEE EURO TRUCK SIM!!
DeleteSHOW MORE EURO TRUCK SIM!!
DeleteYes, very good.
DeleteYou are witty and hilarious..
Just acting the same way amiricans act every time SCS make a blogpost about ETS2. And yes, it really is hilarious. Glad you noticed that.
DeleteNo more cab overs is time for ats
DeleteLooks fantastic!
ReplyDeleteinstead of truck company from the game that offer u a job
ReplyDeleteI like too see other VTC or ur very owned truck company can offer u a job
and also u can go too the bank instead of looking in the game too
Where is the new DAF and Mercedes?
ReplyDeletecount going backward from the 8th line and u will see
Deletewhat they wrote on ok
Fuck you and DAF
DeleteIf you kill yourself right now I promise that you will meet your beloved new DAF in heaven!
Delete3rd picture looks like America, what's missing is we can run red lights when turning right.
ReplyDeleteHow is work going on Euro Coach Simulator? There has been no news on this for ages.
ReplyDeleteSHOW EURO COACH SIM!!
Deletenobody cares about buses my friends... buses are evil little devils trust me...
DeleteThey have competition for bus sim. So they will not do it.
DeleteThey will focus on their truck sims, whilst no one else is making them, because then they do not have to be innovative.
haha, thats why we are asking about a COACH sim, not a bus simulator
DeleteIf u want to drive buses, u can play Bus Driver from 2007 or u can play Rockstar's GTA series.
DeleteIf u want to drive trucks, u can play 18 Wheels of Steel: American Long Haul from 2007 or u can play Rockstar's GTA series.
DeleteBut just because you CAN do something, doesn't mean you will WANT to.
dude American Long Haul was terrible thats why I play Pedal to the Metal.
DeleteI never said it was any good.
DeleteI'd say Bus Driver 2 is a long way off. There is a lot of work to continue to do on ETS, and working on the release (as well as continueing development) on ATS. America is so large, there is years of map development on that alone to consider.
DeleteI think a lot will depend on the success of ATS. The more money they can get from that release will determine a schedule for Bus Driver 2, but even then, I doubt there will be anything on it until at least 2016
Coach Simulator is waste of time and money... SCS should focus only at ETS2 and ATS!
DeleteEuro coach simulator may be waste of time and money, but Amirican truck simulator is just waste. Period.
DeleteUm ATS is not a waste of money. Euro Coach Sim is.
DeleteI don't think anyone is expecting a full new Euro Coach/Bus Sim game on the same levels of American Truck Sim. An add on pack priced like Go East, with Coaches/Buses + missions + some coach/bus related map enhancements (tourist destinations) and using the Euro Truck world would suffice more than nicely.
DeleteSCS is the blue cross in euro truck simulator 2.
ReplyDeletewill be really cross with blue plz scs.
no news toyota? never any word written yet 10 months since before
ReplyDeletetoyota as in the CAR manufacturer?
Deletedafuq??
SCS is the blue cross in euro truck simulator 2. plz
ReplyDeleteWhat do you mean "blue cross"?
DeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
DeleteI mean for those in the cabin in real
DeleteCabin? You mean church? I have never seen any church buildings in ETS2. What country and city are we talking about?
DeleteExcuse his English.
DeleteSCS why the AI trucks in UK are 4x2 and not 6x2?? Everybody knows that lorries in UK are 6x2!!! Please fix this in next patch!!!
ReplyDeleteNo, I had to live in UK a while ago and some trucks are 4X2
DeleteWhy put your question here? This is about AMERICAN (you know what America is right? Not Birmingham, Manchester or UK...) Truck Simulator! SCS has a forum for ETS, go there, or, better, learn some basic geography... :p
DeleteWhy didn't amirican truck simulator get its own forum? You amiricans are the outcasts of the truck simulator family xD
DeleteWhy you keep on spelling "amirican" ?? Some hidden joke?
DeleteThere are both 4x2 and 6x2/4 all over Europe, so I don't know who "everybody" is... but they don't know what they think they know.
DeleteWhat bridge is in the 2nd picture?
ReplyDeleteIs it the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge (western span)?
http://www.fhwa.dot.gov/publications/publicroads/12septoct/images/kol3.jpg
Yep, I think it is.
Deletehttp://www.sfexaminer.com/imager/bay-bridge/b/original/2618811/113d/baybridge2.0831.jpg
Yellow building in picture = grey building in SCS picture.
It is the western San Francisco-Oakland bay bridge
Deletetime to improve the physics then! LOL
ReplyDeletein American Truck Simulator the steering wheel settings it just as 18 Wheels of Steel Haulin
ReplyDeleteand not as Euro Truck Simulator very difficult to move the steering wheel
I would love to drive the steering wheel easier in the American Truck Simulator
:D
So steering in America is different from Europe... and prob. China steering is different from Africa. (BIG face palm!)
DeleteP.S.: Prob. you should stick to drive with your keyboard lol...
He is saying he wants steering wheel settings for ATS to be like they were in Haulin and not like they are in ETS..
DeleteTry adjusting (lowering) force feedback settings if wheel is "very difficult to move".
if wheel is "very difficult to move".
DeleteDon't get it, in fact I feel that ETS steering is too light, force feedback not realistic at all, and you are asking for a lighter steering?? I'm puzzled here..
^^ Yes, because every steering wheel is the same and has same strength force feedback motors O.o
Deleteeven more puzzled now...
DeleteInstead of making just a small team working on ATS why not just make the whole team work on it so we can play it before 2015 ? ...........
ReplyDeletePut ETS2 in second place for now we can still play it..meanwhile ATS is another story..
ATS will probably be same as ETS2 (physics/gameplay wise) so making updates for ETS2, is technically them working on ATS.
DeleteAgreed with you bro. I hate euro gay trucks. Take out your hands from ets and pt them to ats
DeleteAnd are you African or American?
DeleteYour name seems kind of European (eastern), meaning you are... gay also? OK, not everybody is perfect :p
^^ This is not a dating site.
DeleteLOL
DeleteGreetings from the Philippines!
ReplyDeleteI look forward to this update! But if I may request, could you please add additional AI drivers at the recruitment agency. Currently, I am utilizing 153 AI drivers. Would love to expand my trucking company even more! Thank you so much!
Mabuhay po kayo!
" Euro Truck Simulator 1.11 update - which is still in testing (right now we have to iron out the physics adjustments)"
ReplyDeleteAnyone know what these physics adjustments are? Did they say in a previous post or something?
Probably dumbing them down some more so they can also appeal to the new-born and unborn baby market.
DeleteSoon theyll be adding self driving lorries. You know, to keep with the realism. Rather than add older lorries that actually require skills to opperate.
DeleteThe probably can't add older trucks since they would have to be licensed and truck makers see no positive by licencing older trucks. I think we will only see older trucks via mods.
DeleteAnd the Daf Euro 6? He probably doesn't exist!
ReplyDeleteIf you kill yourself right now I promise that you will meet your beloved new DAF in heaven!
DeleteIt will be there in time. It's possible it may make it to the next release. We will see.
DeleteIt will be released when it's ready and not a second sooner. Asking over and over doesn't make them speed it up.
Very beatutiful, but first optimize the game! I have the recommended system requirements and the game works in low details! Optimize before change graphics!
ReplyDeleteTotally agree! My PC has much more than the requirements, and yet I have to run the game at almost minimum specs, and still in cities or when you turn at a cross roads it lags!!
DeleteWho wants stunning graphics if you only going to get them with a 3.000 € (or £ or $) PC??
This game need better optimisation and better graphics. Now 2014 but game looks like from 2006
Delete+1
DeleteGlad it's not just my computer strugglin' LOL
It looks awesome , hope the new game or the upcoming patch for ETS2 will bring lots of features such technical issues on our trucks due to driver's behaviour or some minor problems such tyre punctures or gas leak etc.... keep up the good work SCS guys and don"t let us wait too much for that patch. :)
ReplyDeleteThey already have "technical issues" due to driving behavior.
DeleteTire punctures would be a good idea to a point. Gas leaks though, not so sure... what actually happens? What's different there than the damage that already happens on the trucks.
I have another suggestions for the future update for ETS2 and possibly a feature for ATS.
ReplyDeleteLicense points. I don't know about truck drivers, but for car drivers if you have 6 or more points in real life, your license will be revoked. So, if you can add this feature to ETS2 as well, lets say you hit another AI car you'll get a penalty point, driving too fast ( Speeding ) Currently if you hit another car or speeding your penalty is like €550 for speeding, and hitting a AI car. What about this, if you speeding or hit another AI car, you'll get a penalty point and take some money away from your account. Also player will get penalty points for reckless driving. Once the player get 6 or more penalty points, they'll have to start all over again from the beginning (Like in real life they revoked your license). So I think it's a really cool feature to be added to ETS2! It's a simulator after all, simulate real life.
Um, in real life if you accumulate penalty points, you're BANNED from driving. Not a good idea in a game to make it where you can't play.
DeleteWell in the game, you won't get banned, you'll only have to start from level 1 again.
DeleteSo, nothing like real life. I doubt many people would want the threat of having to start over just because of penalty points. Doesn't really make for good playability. If people want that... they just start another game.
DeleteA bit off topic maybe, but is Spin Tires steam only or is it possible to buy a boxed DVD version?
ReplyDeleteNot a bit, it's a LOT off topic since SCS has nothing to do with Spin Tires.
DeleteTo answer the question.. Spin Tires is Steam only.
Q: Where is SPINTIRES™ available to purchase?
DeleteA: SPINTIRES™ is available to download via the Steam Store. A DVD version can be purchased via our dedicated website http://buy.spintires.com/
Good work, but ATS and ETS2 need to make the amount of drivers at recruitment agencies unlimited. As you progress in the game you have garages that are empty because drivers are not available even using one per garage. Thanks
ReplyDeleteP.S. put b-double trailers in ATS please
SCS Team thanks for the great work. One request please... can you you please fix the cables (for trailer brakes and lights) between the trailer and the truck when they get connected. Currently it seems no connection
ReplyDeleteNo connection at all? Try lithium grease on your connectors, should do the trick.
DeleteHaha Nice!
Deletehehe :) the best statement today :-D
DeleteWhen American truck simulator will be finish
ReplyDeletehopefully this year.
DeleteThe same as the hundred previous times... "when it's ready"
DeleteLooks amazing! I don't suppose you're looking for experienced people to test play it? :) Looking forward to when it hits Steam!
ReplyDeleteLooks amazing
ReplyDeleteHey SCS I had a question about ATS. I was wondering if you guys are going to have a multi stop mission in the game and what I mean about that is will there be missions where we have to dock at multiple stops and drop off certain loads that you have in your trailer, like how stores and shipping yards have there operations. I think it will be a cool thing to have and it will have the player fill more like a truck driver.
ReplyDelete+1
DeleteI was thinking about the same thing! SCS please make real complex missions with several objectives to finish. It will be more challenging and fun to complete. Not just driving from A to B with different trailers.
I hope they add realistic ambient sound to ATS, realistic dialogs between people in the citites. So you hear people talking exactly like they talk in america. GTA IV is a good example with random chats between people, they say things like "cheesy vaginas" and "i have no bananas". That's what I want for ATS, so it really feels like you're in america.
ReplyDeleteThat's not realistic. I live in America and have NEVER heard people talking as ambient sounds when driving. have you ever been on a US road?
DeleteSCS please update your ingame radio list! Many of the stations are not available any more.
ReplyDelete@ Quinn21 , Excellent idea you got there , it will be awesome to have multiple drops missions between spot a - spot b and be on time or try it when on this type of mission!

ReplyDeleteSCS can also do this in euro truck 2. in the cabin at the front window plz
SCS double trailers for AMERICAN TRUCK SIMULATOR end for loads no time limit or longer time or optional from A to B or C
ReplyDeleteSCS why not hook up the truck air lines to the trailers is those lines in the back of the truck is 3 air line one red one black one blue when you're hooking up the trailer they have to be connected with the trailer is more realistic
ReplyDeleteAmerican Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2 should have the option of buying used trucks, so the player wouldn't have to borrow so much money from bank. And it would more realistic since lots of truckers buy used trucks instead of new one.
ReplyDelete*it would be more realistic
Deleteand they should have ATS as a DLC for ETS2 so it add to the world that would be epic
Deletecan you please make ATS multiplayer and let me own my own trailers and put lights on it etc also for ETS and ATS let us put light around the back on the wind deflectors and orange and white LEDs on the bull bars etc
ReplyDeleteSo I hear Ice Road Truckers season 8 premiers in july.
ReplyDeleteIce road truckers is fake the truckers from the show say they're
Delete....say "they're what???? "
DeleteI see on pics number 4 a tight corner on highway... It's a bit annoying when you going max speed 90kmh on highway and you must slow down to 50-60 because of corner. Can you fix this?
ReplyDeletei think you are 12 years old.
Deletego play racing games little bitch
you should never go faster than 85, a good speed at highways is approx. 80 km/h if you're faster you're a danger for yourself and the people around you ! like in real life...
Deleteuh 50mph is slow on the highways in the states most people go at around 70 - 90mph. Because 70 feels slow, 90 feels too fast, and 80 feels just right on the highways.
DeleteNo sir, they can't fix this because this is a TRUCK simulation game, NOT bloody Need For Speed that arcade game!
DeleteYou guy should billboards.
ReplyDeleteJust brought Euro Truck Simulator 2 Collector's Bundle on Steam
ReplyDeleteKeep the good work Polska braci
