American Truck Simulator at PC Gaming Show

We have been kindly invited by the PC Gamer magazine to show a bit of American Truck Simulator to the public as part of their PC Gaming Show, taking place in Los Angeles alongside E3. The day is here at last, even if for us Europeans it's actually so late at night that it happens to be tomorrow.


The eyes of the gaming industry are now fixed on E3 2015, the largest annual gaming event in Northern America. We are happy that American Truck Simulator can be a part of it, even if only in the form of a short video clip. Anyway, we are in good company there: Blizzard Entertainment, our Czech buddies at Bohemia Interactive, Cloud Imperium Games, Devolver Digital, Microsoft, Square Enix and more of the best developers and publishers in PC gaming are taking part in the PC Gaming Show.

You can watch the event live on PC Gamer’s Twitch channel and discuss the show on Twitter via #pcgamingshow. The stream starts at 5 PM PDT (12 AM UTC, 2 AM CEST), the show starts an hour later at 6 PM PDT (1 AM UTC, 3 AM CEST). Full E3 schedule is available here.

    No news about ets2 since 2 weeks?! Would like to hear something...maybe news about new trucks or a Spain dlc.

      They're working on it. You can't just expect them to do it instantly, obviously the're going to add most of the other EU countries, for example think how long it took them to create Scandanvaia DLC. If you're not happy with it then get Promods.

      In a word ... No.

      There are a number of websites that report a release date which until confirmed by SCS is just marketing BS and should be treated as such. Excalibur is a known retailer/publisher of SCS products and even they are talking about 2015.

      I am looking forward to it asap but I would not hold my breath just based on an non confirmed website suggestion.

    Watched the little short video at E3. Too short, and so disappointed that someone from SCS wasn't there for the show to present the game. However, that being said...I'm a retired trucker who has been waiting anxiously for the release of the game...You've already got one sale in me!

      That is pretty cool .... a retired trucker holding out for ATS to arrive. I really hope ATS can deliver for you JC ...when it comes out. [common sense assumed]. If it does, then it's going to be pretty awesome for the rest of us virtual truckers ....

      Success is subjective ..... no doubt it has been very popular and proven it can be done. I guess it has not been a core criteria for SCS and based on the experience of the MP mod, I would worry that it would take so much away from SCS developing updates to ETS2 and ATS, not to mention the Bus Sim and other projects, that it would be a very negative impact for sim trucking by SCS in general.

      When I stopped the MP mod in ETS2 it was because the roads were unrealistic with only trucks on them and due to recklessness and ramming. Have things changed?


      Regard ATS, this is great news SCS and congrats on being invited. This is very important to gain a strong foothold in the US market with ATS which will hopefully drive funding for development and improvement for everyone. Keep on truckin'

    Looks awesome but you should add better AA :) , adding MSAA through nvidia inspector works fine but most players can't do it.
