These are not gameplay images, the camera is revealing a couple of sceneries in the game. The environments are just set pieces of course, in most challenges, the game takes place in rather confined areas. Unlike Euro Truck Simulator series games, Trucks & Trailers is not about long haul deliveries, it's about the fine art of manipulating tractor+trailer in limited space under pressure.

ReplyDeleteIt looks awesome! There's a moon up in the sky and realistic mountains! And everything looks really life-like. I already love this game. But, aren't trucks usually not allowed in cities? That's the main reason ets doesn't need access to the entire city (as some requested) since a trucker will rarely enter one. Nevermind, I love it!
Another thing: you know what car is really missing from the ai lot? The DACIA Logan (and I'm not talking about the pathetic mods you can find on the net)! :D
I don't like 3 things on this screens. Ugly white Ford Mondeo (didn't like it in previous games), wheelchair (mixed feelings) and light pink-blue colors on the Scania and Volvo (colors should be nice, deep and distinct). Everything else looks good.
ReplyDeleteit would be MORE interesting to challenge the trucks + trailers backwards (and also more difficult...), if you would implement LORRY + TRAILER-Combo's, not only tractor + trailer-combo's. I mean lorry + trailer like the following ones:

ReplyDeleteI like the look of this very much. The wheel chair user is great to see as well, nice to see that some companies think of the disabled as well. What is the release date for this game? What trucks will be included? Will there be right hand drive interiors and trucks for UK drivers? I do not mind driving left hand drives, but a choice whould be nice though. Will the physics be based on the extreme trucker 2 physics? which are miles better than the ETS/GTS/UKTS physics. The extreme trucker 2 physics make you think you are driving a truck, not a ferrari like in ETS/GTS/UKTS.

Last one, if I'm not wrong, was in PTTM. Anyway, I'm glad that you investing so much time to anti-boring elements - and variety of scenery is one of them, for sure.
