We have another riddle for you today! We are sure there are people among the readers who will be able to recognize this place being constructed for Euro Truck Simulator 2...
Nice, nice, nice very nice work scs team!I don't no where is it but is very good for me,i driving truck on this simulator and i discover europe.......scs team thumbs up! D e j v www.forum.truckgames.eu Gettings from Czech republic
sorry i don´t know where could be that but i must say that RESPECT because this scenery is awesome! Who cares where is it.. mainly mount it to game because its lovely.. it will be sure somewhere in Alps. xD
Scs Softvare is very beautiful work! Is this Spanish possibly? Hungary Euro Truck Simulator will be 2 mapban in him ? A couple of infos would be good from this direction. :)
SCS, thanks for sharing your information I have some wishes for this game and one of these is the ability to monitor over my drivers (the ones that I hired to work) on the map to learn them in the general flow of traffic! it is a mere trifle, but a very pleasant huh
Wherever it is, you guys made it look amazing! It is so beautiful! Can't wait for the release of ETS2! Just a small request, could you please include motorcycles, buses(coaches and city buses), police cars, ambulances and fire trucks? And we would have to stop to let the ambulance and fire and police cars pass. Thanks! SCS Software ROCKS!!!
I have no idea where it is, as I live in the United States, but it sure looks good. I have played all of your games, and I love what you've been doing. Please include this place, and put other interesting places in the game, that way the player can see Europe without ever having to go there in real life. Make bridges that the player can travel on. Make the cities more interesting, make them bigger, much bigger, especially the major ones. Add more streets. Make it so that the player could seen the entire city, take away all of the X's found in the city, and elsewhere.
The X's are terrible. Make it so that they are gone, and the player can drive through them, and see the whole city. Include residential areas, airports, bus stops, schools, restaurants, etc.
What great pictures! Unfortunately I have no idea where they come from :-(
I remember a few years ago when I played hours and hours "Haulin" was too nice, when traveling north, the rain became snow. Please place the snow even in ETS2! It would be great!
P.S.: Full support for TrackIR5! Is absolutely crucial!
Another improovement from me : we shouldnt just drive cargoes from company to company. Its new for the game to drive from company to : somewere is roadworks (the drive the trailer back to somewere), woods, houses, ports, gas station or the reverse of this routes.
And when we are with the truck stopped somewere the traffic should overtake us.
The traffic should olso respect the speed limits but to be also other cars that have more speed. Ex on the B roads cars shouldnt drive with city speed or who knows.
SCS, please make a GPS system. For example, on the top middle of the screen, directions are shown (turn right, continue on highway___). And make sure it notifies the player a good amount of time in advance. Make it where, if you bought the GPS at a repair shop, and are on a trip somewhere, the minimap shows a red line, being where you're supposed to go.
Make it so that, if a player presses a button (F8) a screen will come up. There, they can program the GPS, by selecting a destination point. Then, the directions come at the top of the screen, and a red line is on the minimap. If the player misses a turn, the GPS recalculates the next shortest route.
Someone said the answer called Vogesen on a highway from Straßbourg to Metz in France. Look here http://trucksimulator24.de/index.php?page=Thread&postID=5853#post5853 Is that right?
Absolutely no clue whatsoever!!! I think that Anonymous with Alsace France nailed it, 'though. Nice landscape! I love the improvement in center shader for the offset height lanes. Or have you introduced the possibility of having a one way half-road, that can be connected through some sort of junction to the main network? Looks way better than previous versions. This game is going to be awesome!
Anonymous colleague who wrote Alsace must be right! Congrats to him. :-)
I'm impressed with this level of realia you putting into game. This is far more then I expectet, but also, this is more then I wished. Thank you for your hard work, thank you for putting news on blog so often. I'll totally buy it! :-)

Indeed we are thinking if it wasn't better to disable anonymous comments. Perhaps we should do a poll on this soon.
Regarding the image colors versus photo - you must take into account that at different time of day, with different weather, the scene will always look different. ETS2 has far richer palette available to it when it comes to portraying light conditions compared to any previous games of ours, so we think you will not be disappointed.

Two problems: 1) Gazelles lives in Africa and in Asia. 2) Euro Truck Simulator is surprisingly set in Europe. :-D
Okay, we have other animals here, but usually you cannot see them crossing roads where trucks are allowed. Well, on some narrow road in woods yes, but those are not roads for trucks. BTW if you want to kill deer, SCS made various other games for these purposes. :-D

ReplyDeletebut i've an idea for give more reality at the game:put the charghable trailer.
on start game just buy a truck and one of trailer and start your carrier.
just drive until your destination company and the truckers have to charge the trailer then delivery the cargo on the other company.
it's my idea for best simulation ever.
What great pictures! Unfortunately I have no idea where they come from :-(

ReplyDeleteTurkey shouldn't be in ETS2 because it's mainly part is situated in Asia. The game is called Euro Truck Simulator, not Asia Truck Simulator.

Joli travail ! Bonne continuation.
