Route 66 Work In Progress teaser picture
We thought this might be interesting especially for fans of a particular French truck manufacturer. However, as usually we have to point out that until definitive agreements are signed and the final version of Euro Truck Simulator 2 gets the confirmation "green light" from the truck companies, the images we are showing are no guarantee that you will see the models in the game.

Why not will that give a guarantee for release that truck model? That skinwork is very fabulous...

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely amazing model. People from French manufacturer would be foolish if they'll give no permission. (But I know these guys are reasonable!) Who doesn't want his own, perfectly portrayed product, in so peaceful game? Every manufacturer, French or not, should take this as opportunity, not as mercy to small software company.

ReplyDeleteAs I already wrote in the previous entry about the Route 66 edition, I never buy the Magnum in-game (I myself prefer the Scania, Volvo and DAF), but this skin is so fabulous, that I will definitely get one for my virtual company to drive...

i hope so! so it isn´t only a skin...
i hope that you can customize the lorries you buy for your company and actually see them doing the deliveries if you pass them going the other way . Otherwise it makes it pointless upgradibng and cusomising them when you buy them apart from the one you drive

ReplyDeletePlease can you make it so that once we set up the VTC with our own livery that we can see them on the roads without it having to be a mod- that would be fun
Also can we have operating centres just like in UKTS ( buy our own garages)

ReplyDeleteI only know King of the Road and Rigs of Rods which have such feature, the former being almost 10 years old now, while the latter being strongly unstable in this respect, and is rather a vehicle simulator than a trucksim anyway.
Janos, I'm sure by "opponents", he means virtual opponents in game (as it was in Across America), not some game with multiplayer from other company.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, he's right. I don't need - or better, I don't want multiplayer. I want things from older games back and virtual opponents with own fleet are one of these features.

Dear SCS. While picture is awesome and all us hope you will manage to get agreements with company's and release that model with skin i still think this kind of problem could be fixed if you did add feauture in pesonal garages in ETS2.
ReplyDelete1) Add posebility to buy trucks not only from official dealers in game but also from privat selling company;s ( or whatever you would like to call)
2) Make it also as in ALH posseble to have more trucks in game and not only limited to 3 for each brandmark and put those ( model's made by community/modders) in that store as i have described above.
At this point we could easely get hands on moddet trucks without changing original models too much in game.
Cant wait for this game
